Restaurant is good and has vibe of love and calm, only food is expensive as per quantity of it. I went first time and realised BBQ is better in enjoying food. They should reconsider menu.

Roti(x4)About the food :-All the dishes are very tasty 😋 I like Moong dal ka halwa the most because It is full with Meva , Dal makhni was very good and Kadhai paneer is awesome 😃About the delivery :-Delivery was on time and because of contact less delivery it was safe and hygienic too and their rider also wear masks so their taking all the precautions to ensure safety measures 🙃Recieved a awesome experience 😁

I visited Veda for celebrating my Father’s Birthday and it was one great experience I must say, the ambience of the restaurant is just out of the world, we were served very well by Mr. Rattan & Mr. Ankit Rawat! I never had such a pathetic quality food in Connaught place. The ambience is fine but the food and service quality is very poor. We ordered two starters and two main course food items from their menu. Not even one serving was anything different from the one you can get from a local food joint. I was planning to have a small party at this place going by the decoration but now I am glad that I tried this place and I can change my plan timely. Dont waste your money here. The place is fine for taking pics but not for food.

For the place that it was & for the pricing it has, the interior was disappointment. The platter was cold and was not at all upto mark....Veggies were not salted well and paneer was not cooked in tandoor and the rest items like kabab and all were so badly bland tasting that i was not able to recognize dish.Will not recommend this place to those who cater to food with some level of masala and chilly taste...how ever for people who wana have no masala no chilly bland food.... this is heaven.

Food is amazing as always, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. Went there with a local and for some reason, they give foreigners more attention than they do locals. We had to hail the wait staff and even then the service was marginal at best. With a total bill of rs 3000 for two people ordering a couple glasses of wine and a couple of dishes, the restaurant is not cheap by any standard, except for the service. They need to retrain their staff to be attentive to everyone!

Veda is a restaurant where you can visit with your partner, friends or even family. They have a cosy ambience with candlelights, mirrors and big chandeliers. Food is of decent taste, not very spicy. It may take some time for them to prepare the food. Cherry on thr cake was the saxophone player in the house, and water bottle costs Rs 100 per bottle.

I visited Veda for a family get together dinner. The location is a prominent one, right next to the petrol pump on outer circle.The first thing that strikes you on entering is the dim lighting. (Personally Im not a big fan of dimly lit places). The decor is decent. This seems like a good lounge for spending some relaxed time. The music was not too loud so the conversation were not interrupted (again Im not a big fan of loud music at restaurants).Coming to food, the serving time for the starters was quite long but the food was worth the wait. The menu is not very eloborate but has all the essentials to satisfy your taste buds as well as your appetite. The chicken & paneer starters were well marinated & cooked to perfection. In the main course, dal makhni & garlic naan were the stand out favourite among all the items that we ordered.Overall a good place to visit.

It has the capacity for 30-40 persons only. The interiors are amazing and it is dimly lit. Lets jump to the food now:Dahi ke kabab : These were really scrumptious. the soft curd filling literally melted in our mouth.Mushroom hara pyaz masala & apricot malai kofta : The spices they use are as per the foreign nationals, hence the major lacking of the natural or say usual taste in the dishes is there.I usually prefer less spicy food but even i wasnt able to make out the taste of the offerings.The mocktails were so-so.Service : The service was damn slow, usually took 20 min to serve water, they make sure you buy mineral water bottle. They told us regular water is unavailable. I wonder what they were using in their dishes - mineral water hahaha. Just a money making tactic for sure.Note : Make sure you avoid this for sure. We were Australian tourists visiting New Delhi, and went to Connaught Place in the afternoon. We went to nearby Veda at the recommendation of my son and his wife, who had visited 6 months previously. It was quiet and the staff were very attentive. Great food, as recommended by our waiter, and reasonably priced. A great choice for us.

Ok, so the food is good here. The portions are huge, so be careful when ordering on a date night. The ambience is bordering at opulent and gaudy, but not still too much. The service is ok, till the time youre being served...but.But, the service attitude is downright ugly! We were levied, no slapped, with a service charge of 10%. When we refused to pay it, they came back saying it was mandatory. When we protested and asked for the manager, he said - we have printed it on the menu, so you cant not pay it now. He further went on in a flippant tone and said, Im giving you the bill, you can do whatever you want to do with it. It was only after we used the words consumer court and said we are not going to pay, You do whatever you want to that they changed stance. To cause further discomfort, they came back with our cash saying the 500 Rupee note was torn, which it originally wasnt. I went on to tell the manager that this was done by them wilfully and that he was lying. I could see the man shaking - maybe in anger, maybe with guilt. They finally removed the service charge and returned the exact change, which we had initially put down as the tip for services rendered. We did leave that behind, because we always intended to.In the end, what was otherwise a good meal turned out to be a reminder of why people think Delhi is aggressive and uncouth, to the extent of being extortionists, that too at a restaurant. Very ugly people, running a very good restaurant.

This is not the place you want to go if you want amazing service, great food, value for your money or even be treated like youre of some value to them.So basically , they offer nothing a good restaurant would.Hygiene?? The table wasnt cleaned properly and the server gets and puts your cutlery directly on the table without any cloth or tissue beneath them.We had to wait for 45 minutes, yes you heard that right, 45 minutes for food to be served after we sat at the table. To top it off, the sneakily tried to replace couple of items in what we ordered with other food items and thought we wouldnt notice. (the manager accpeted it by the way).Couple of items like biryani and few chicken curries were dead cold.The managers service level was questionable. The food was not all that great, it was okay.
