Location is good but I’ll not get what I expecting from matchbox.... service is fast but food is disaster I ordered honey chilly potatoes and sandwich 🥪 totally thanda stuff.Even Beer is not chill you’ve to order ice for it.... gst plus service tax mahhh gosh ....I mean why ?

We went to Matchbox a couple of days back to celebrate a colleagues birthday and we all had an excellent time. Staffs were very attentive and provided great recommendations on what to order.Food was amazing and the drinks were perfect as well.Loved the Music too.Will be back for sure.

Overall the experience was good. Amazing food with perfect view and drinks. We went on Saturday and there was live music as well.Its bit congested though. Given that Covid is still with us, I would suggest them to take some precautions. Otherwise the place is awesome, staff is also good. You would definitely want to go there.

Went there during covid (declining phase of 2nd wave). Staff wore mask, but dont expect it from diners, as is case in any restaurant. We sat at rooftop and ambience was good, right in front of lake. If weather is good, this is the place to be sice indoos might get suffocating due to smoking. Food was good, no complaints. Live music was great! Singer Sandeep Koli has a great voice and sang all songs that made the place more lit! Will suggest this place to anyone and everyone.

I was not happy with their service. The place is small and the food is just average. In fact, I had to ask for salt for the pasta as it was tasteless. I will not go there again.

Small intact but have a good reputation of good music and liveliness. The good fact was they didnt play any punjabi songs on the dance floor. The crowd was young and we had fun on the dance floor. Disney order any food as there were no seats available. Just had drinks and danced.

Good spot for sunny afternoon lunch, Good food with great views (cant expect more from now concrete jungle Delhi)Pork chop was tasty, good size portion and moderately priced.Cocktails are just ok, good Bloody Mary (off the menu) for winter afternoon made out of fresh tomatoes juice was good and spicy but classic margarita was sad and missing main ingredients like Cointreau/triple sec.

Pathetic food. Ordered chicken wings, chicken and was so chewy and wings were cold. Ordered lasagna, the very same undercooked chewy chicken with random spice trail. Talking about service we sat on terrace and the server was agitated from the beginning, and then the took legit 45 mins to prepare a pasta in total they took 2 hours to serve the food we ordered. The server wasn’t convinced when we complained about the food. One of our guys went to washroom and there was no water. Insects all over our tables, I think ants enjoyed our food more than us.Trust me one should never step in this horrible place. Also all thanks to them I have screwed up gut and food poisoning.

I have visited this place 2 weeks before with my colleagues, they took hours to deliver our order, and the staff was very rude and unhospitable. after ordering so many things we just got pasta and chicken nuggets. Behavior of the staff was not professional. And they charged fortunes from us. Never trust this place. And never go on weekends because they cant handle their customers right when the place is crowded.

The view from here is just amazing. Cool place, White Sauce Pasta is good, Veg Pizza isnt good, for a mug of Ultra they charge 400 +tax.

This is a cozy place to spent a nice evening or afternoon( you cant tell the difference once you are inside) with your friends or partner.. however except the coziness they have nothing good to offer.. same brand of beer which they want to serve, be it in the menu or not.. the sangria we ordered only had apples in a cheap wine which was not good.. the dip they gave with potato wedges tasted old.. only the overpriced beer was good because carlsberg made it.. but after few drinks the only thing which matters is the good music which was there hence the 3 stars..

The place has an ok ambience as compared to the other places in Hauz khas village. The sitting arrangement isn’t that comfortable. The food service is also ok and is on an expensive side. The pork ribs ordered had gravy which should be dry. The corn they provide is steamed one rather than the roasted one. The beer rates are ok and they do provide happy hours. They also have dance floor with life DJ till 1 pm. They have two floors with one floor at the roof. They have a seating arrangement facing the Deer lake.

On my recent trip to Delhi, I not only had the good fortune of understanding the street food of Delhi, but also visiting a pub by two enterprising youth. The pub is Matchbox and the owners are jija sala duo of Mahavir Mohanty and Amit Panda. They also have a third partner called Aman Agarwal. My travel guide Sarwar Borah told me that Matchbox is one of the few restaurants in Delhi that promotes Northeastern food and music. They recently organised a Naga food festival. Earlier to that they had organised an Assamese food festival. I spoke to Mahavir and Chef Santosh. I tasted pork ribs and pork chili. The taste was oriental, meat was succulent, and the barbecue sauce tasted perfect. Although, I felt that, too much, boiling the meat can make the pork lose its taste. The chef was happy to note my point. Look forward to visit them again on my next visit to Delhi.

Matchbox is not a pub nor a bar. It’s the good time. With good food, good music and alcohol of course. We all get lost in huge spaces. Thats why, Matchbox is small and cozy, just so that you can steal a sip or two from the neighboring beer mugs while yours’ is done. Sports freaks, Rock n Roll fanatics, Hip Hop lovers, Live Band enthusiasts, foodies and whatever genre rocks your boat, you will fit in here, comfortably.

I was here for one my colleagues Birthday Party last week and we all enjoyed a great time here. The place was kind of small so we were bit of worried about the privacy thing but they really managed it all very well. We ordered 6-7 dishes along with drinks and all were delicious with good portions.The Pizza was very yummy. Fresh ingredients. Large meat pieces on top which was a big plus! Flavour was amazing, it was nice and thin, with great crust. The Fried Chicken was the star of the day for me. These have to be the meatiest, juiciest chicken tenders EVER! Fried to perfection and SUPER fresh. Overall, this place is worth coming back to. The food is good and everyone that works here is super friendly. In the words of the terminator I will be back.

Very nice place! Very clean and classy. They have a great selection of drinks and good food menu too. I ordered a pasta while my friend ordered a pizza, and we also got a side of veg platter. For drinks we ordered the screwdriver cocktail, which was great. Everything we had was great, I will definitely be back!

I have heard about this place from a friend but didnt know what to expect so I was curious.I thought the place was really nice and liked the decor. The place had a good crowd and the vibe was pretty cool. The staffs were friendly and thats something that can make or break a place. Everything we ordered was great and the drinks were perfect too. very balanced and lot of exciting options to choose from as well. Overall we had a great time and will probably go back with a few more friends.

A lovely spot in Hauz Khas Village with great food and drinks. Get the Alfredo Pasta and you will thank me for it. I love that they have outdoor seating. The menu was diverse and had good drinks & food selection in the menu.. I also tried the chicken Lollypop with BBQ sauce and it was better than I expected. We ate and chatted and were not rushed to leave which was nice. The next time I am in the area I will definitely be back.

This place isnt very huge in space but had some of the best Cocktails and good food too. One of my colleagues invited me here for her birthday celebration and we all have a great time at this small lounge. The service was good and the servers made some great recommendations for drinks and food. The white sauce pasta was the best item on the whole table for me. Surely love to visit more.

I held my boyfriends surprise birthday party here this past weekend, and I must say I was very impressed with the level of service that was provided to me and my guests. The owner Rikki was wonderful in helping to put everything together and recommending the dishes & drinks. He was always available to answer my questions and wanted to ensure we had a great night. The staff was simply amazing and I could not have asked for a better night. I look forward to coming back to this amazing restaurant. The food and drinks were top notch and the birthday boy was happy.

Came across this place one night with a colleague celebrating his 21st birthday and it was a Tuesday night so there wasnt much action going on. However, the vibe was nice and I really liked the decor. Plus the staff was really great and helped us in exploring the best options for us. The bartender was great at his work and every cocktail was just too good. I would definitely be visiting this place again!

Perfect place for comfort food. Small, quaint and friendly staff. Wasnt too busy around 7:30 on a Friday. The burger is tasty, flavourful, and best complimented with a side of their french fries. Between the amazing service and amazing food, I can understand why this place is well liked.

Great place for casual beer and food sessions. I enjoyed their behaviour (staff) as they were friendly. Even tuned on to the match that I had requested them to play on the screen. A live dance floor is at the centre.Location of the place is a little bit inside the complex, not very easy to find but yes eventually some boys from the pub will approach you before you find the store.

I came here recently and had the most epic birthday experience!!! Best of the best accommodation. Love the decor. Super charming and elegant, yet hip and fun. Not to mention the cocktails are amazing.I especially loved the outdoor area. It was a perfect spot to have all of my friends hang out without being too overcrowded. Absolutely gorgeous and we had the most incredible service as well.

Came here for drinks with a friend. I am not a huge drinker, but I still enjoyed my cocktail, and I really, really enjoyed the chicken Burger. The burger was fresh and very filling with lot of ingredients. A great place for drinks with friends, but classy enough that you could bring colleagues/business associates as well. I will go back!

Finally got to try this place out, and it was fantastic. The drinks are some of the best I have had in the area, with real care and and attention to detail in every one. Creative, well made, delicious, and very reasonably priced. Named aptly. The place is a little crammed. 1+1 pitchers of Bud are for 2500.. Food is comparably less expensive. Ordered nachos, honey chilly and chilli chicken prepared and served just right. Outer area is not so comfortable for seating.

Matchbox is a place where people like me find their own peace. The music is great because the DJ is awesome. I am a critique when it comes to music. It has not failed to impressed me every time I go there. Fish&chips is a regular meal coz its incomplete without it. They got good vegetarian food as well. I can assure you that Matchbox is always ahead of others coz, you can always request the chef to modify your food according to your taste and the DJ will do the same. A place such as this is rare to find in the city

I attended a birthday party at this lounge and the bar tenders and entire staff were awesome. The servers were amazing.Very energetic and fun. Plus their service was impeccable. My friends and I will definitely be back.

Small dance floor, broken tables, in all the drinks, even coldrinks (coke) the bar person was mixing water n giving. The vegetarian food was very bad, the non veg was fine. The music was also okay. There was only one light -red. So ambience was also not attractive. I would not recommend it for booking also.

I came to Matchbox a few times on a Friday or Saturday night and have never been disappointed. First, the staff is friendly and attentive. Never had to wait too long for a drink. And secondly, the music and DJs were amazing every time. Definitely got everyone on the dance floor.Seriously considering celebrating my birthday here this year.
