Bad Food Service but ambiance is quite good

We were recently travelling across northern parts of India along with my guests, Hectic business, serious deadlines and just one day to please ourselves in foggy Delhi Winters made us choose this bar. Went for lunch on Saturday, good food and service. Aloo goat was spicy & tender, fish dishes were good, prawn Tom Yum noodle soup was a little overcooked & not spicy enuf, Asian beef was tasty & tender, grilled prawns were bland, grilled tenderloin was tender, Asian tofu was decent, good desert selection and tasty and place was not crowded. Theres Internet but make sure you have an ID to show and you need to ask for the login credentials unless youre a guest in Shangri-La hotel.Not all the food was out for lunch time when I started at 12.30pm.Masala chai tea was on the weak side.

Very bad experience. Food was very disappointing. Will not recommend this restaurant. We ordered some pizza, spring rolls, chicken dumplings and vegetables. Pizza felt like it was old and reheated. The spring rolls were very oily and felt like they were old and been reheated as well. The dumplings tasted bad. The service was also bad. The servers were not wearing gloves or shields. Servers were not responsive and had to be called to the table multiple times or reminded to get something. The drinks were ok. We asked the server to remove the ice and he came back with ice in the drinks still. The ambience was nice outside. Overall, it was not a good experience. Would not recommend you to eat here.

Its a good place to spend evening. It has appealing ambience too and liquor served is of good quality.

The outdoor sitting area is amazing. Service very hospitable although I didnt like the music. Overall a very apt place for having liquor at those insanely late hours when most places stop serving it.

I’ve been to Delhi few times, each time I try to visit Grappa. Great atmosphere, very lively and comfortable. Food is great, drinks are decent and staff is exceptionally trained. I wish they would remember their returning guests and not have them waiting in line. Overall, great place.

They have open area to sit outside , its really beautiful Ambience. You can enjoy. Its expensive though. They give u nachos and peanuts on the side

Nice Place with wonderful Music

Worst experience we had in a bar so far.Cocktails with almost no alcohol inside. Clearly let them notice about it and staff didn’t end up with any reasonable solution, instead they avoided the person who complained. Waited 15mins for an orange juice. Got overcharged for a pack of cigarettes without prior notice of the price. Finally they tried to charge underhand tip to the bill even though we clearly expressed our dissatisfaction. Never ever again.

Nice place.. But plz increase your staffing for open area.... Have to wait for 20mns that someone plz come and take the order... slow service, if we are paying 6k. We need service also as per you are charging. Food was good.

One of the best hospitality in townWe visited grappa bar for the first tym it was recommend by one of my friend and it was worth going there my server nitin made some amazing cocktails though m not a big cocktail lover but the ones i tried was amazing . the food is also great.

Probably one of the worst bars Ive ever been to. The manager showed a lot of attitude while talking and was very disrespectful,the staff was seen supporting all his wrong doing and on top of that he misbehaved with a friend. Having a bar in such a prestigious hotel with no hospitality is very shameful. Wouldnt suggest anyone to even have a glass of water there.

Nice cosy bar Grappa ! Cigar is not great...bring your own dope

He drew us in with his charming smile and easy style, the antithesis of a carnival barker. It was Hemant, one of my favorite staffers from Grappa. I think he is relatively new there but we cant stop singing the praises of him. Convival, smart, polite and oh so talented in the art of mixology. A hearty Congratulations! to the talented Grappa torchbearers aka team for their kind hospitality. Hemant was missed as he finished his shift early but what wonderful handover given to Ajay Tomar and Brijesh for keeping us in high spirits literally and figuratively till 3:30 in pukka dilli for our liquid libations. Both were speaking the same hospitality language seamlessly in executing their services. We were just in awe. We are coming back and only when Hemant and his awesome mates are on board sailing the grappa boat!! Thanks.

A bar that feels quite atmospheric, but only after staying here in Shang Palace Chinese Restaurant, without taking an order here, take a photo to keep a memory.

The second time I visited this excellent cocktail bar with some tourist friends, and I really enjoyed it. The best moment of the night is the mixologist, seductive, unforgettable, and humble, my favorite is the old one, but I must admit that I have tried many and am impressed with everything. Fiction is a paradise for those who resort to experimenting with innovative cocktails.

Grappa BarBaar is very beautiful.
