I am a CPL aspirant and had my CLASS 1 medical at this facility in September 2021. This place is probably the best to get your medical done. All the doctors and staff were extremely professional and co-operative. This place is hyper organised unlike the generally messy government facilities. Most doctors(atleast the ones I came in contact with) were very friendly and made me feel comfortable and at home. Just one thing.... DO YOUR HOMEWORK. If you are going at an Air Force facility, it is expected that you will be fully prepared with all your documents and formalities. As much professional and friendly these doctors are, they can become a real pain if you do not do your homework. All the negative reviews you will read here are by those who came unprepared and got the treatment. Go prepared and you will have the best experienceHappy Landings

The best place to do your DGCA class 1 medical. The doctors are very friendly and the hospital is very clean and well maintained.

I went to this hospital army hospital which is beside to this hospital and then in base hospital delhi cantt. But nowhere government is providing covid test to any civilian. In Janakpuri there is no government hospital for covid test. Delhi government failed completely failed in covid testing and then government says that cases are getting low day by day, but when there is no open testing then how could government tell that the cases are not increasing. Its worst place to do your medical from , they wil kept u waiting for like 6 hours for evry department . Dont even think of doing your class 1 from here . Even when you will pass the exma for fitness they will keep u waiting for a long 5 hours in the wainting room for ca 35 .

People here are cooperative at the same very strict. Just make sure that you have the correct input (Medical reports) in order to get your Thing processed otherwise you may land in trouble and might not be able to perform your medical.

The medical staff is decent , professional and definitely knowledgeable and skilled But some of the airmen staff doing the paperwork and managing files are under efficient and also uncouth and rude . Theyre obviously frustrated with their lives and they take it out on civil aircrew . Going to renew class1 medical is like a patience test that involves sitting idle in the waiting room for long periods of time .It is very common for files to be misplaced.or forgotten downstairs .Feedback form at the end of the medical is a joke as it is supposed to be submitted to the airmen staff who youre actually complaining against .

Run by clowns...some of the most uncouth, condescending old farts Ive ever met. Nothing seems to be automated there. All aviation medicals are hand processed, and as a result of that, peoples documents are lost all the time. I had to even point out to them that they had someone elses photo within my file.At the end of it all, I was basically forced to fill out a review form, during which I voiced out my many concerns with their process. Reviews are meant to be anonymous, confidential and above all, optional, but mine was opened a minute after I completed it in front of me and I was basically told off for my harsh remarks.... They wanted an honest review, so I provided it and then they had the effrontery to disagree with what I had reviewed.Absolutely horrible department and a blight on Indian Aviation. Its clear that all the 4 and 5 star reviews on this place have only been filled out by the idiots who work there... atrocious

Doctors are so well behaved. Disciplined.

Pathetic.Some doctors do partiality with Non commisioned officers and their families. They dont listen to their problems and hardly care about their sufferings and ailments. All they do is showing off their ranks and positions. Doctor is a profession of mankind and humanity. Being a defence person is seen as person of sacrifice and helpfulness . But some doctors of AFCME are neither a good doctor nor a good soldier.They need to change their attitude. They may be at higher ranks and may have cleared tough exams like UPSC but they should not forget what their duty is. Instead of flaunting their ranks on their shoulders, and neglecting their patients, they should do their job with utmost sincerity.They should not forget that government pay them lavishly not for flaunting their ranks but for treating the patients without partiality and with utmost sincerity. Being a Doctor they should treat all the patients equally either he is an officer or an ordinary soldier. Their behaviour towards the servicemen should not be boss and employee but as a doctor and patient, so that the soldiers and defence personnels can tell their grievances and ailments more freely without hesitation.
