One of the finest quality and facilities. Cleanness is awesome. Safety and security is well marked. Faire with fare. Not to worry about your stuff. All train are accurate and well at time. Services are awesome. But be careful with some thing that is essential. Do not stand at the door, make distance from the door. Dont use floor to seat. Leave the reseved seet to needy like old or senior citizens,or handicapped person or pregnant lady. With mortality dont use women seat,if you are men. Carefully listen your destination station status.

The Headquarters of Delhi Metro, named Metro Bhawan.Nearest Metro station is Barakhamba Metro Station and Rajiv Chowk Metro Station.

Metro Bhawan is the Headquarters of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. It is the new building made as an Headquarters. Before Metro Bhawan the Headquarters of Delhi Metro was at NBCC Place, Pragati Vihar, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.Delhi Metro has started its first Metro on 24th December 2002 (Shahdara to Tis Hazari) on the Red Line. The first underground section (Vishwa Vidyalaya - Kashmere Gate) on the Yellow Line opened in 2004.

This is a HQ or H.O. of DMRC. Barakhamba Metro Station is the nearest metro station to reach although one can get down a Rajiv chowk too but it will take 10 more minutes to reach. Its a upscale corporate building with employee of typical Govt. Dept. attitude. Its compact from Inside, Presently its crowded with files and papers occupying the space of corridors, making it densor and employees of Senior and Junior LEVEL closer :) which is rare sight in depots or anywhere else. Its very close to N Block of Connaught place.

Although there were criticism regarding environmental balance , after the implementation its value was much appreciated because of its usefulness.

For officially work of delhi metro

Road is good but traffic management is very poor. Number of hawkers and vendors do their business on the main road thereby making traffic movement in the area.slow and mess up. Snack parlours on the road which are authorized to sell by civic body serves good quality snack and one can have a quick meal with great taste and easy on pocket.

DMRC...Very well executed project and doing well in Delhi. Has got expansion too.Good pricing for passengers.Two experiences:1.@Dilshad garden at ticket counter, when asked about ticket for children, the guy told to take along with you. As we moved further at the entry we were caught and was told that you will need to pay fine if tickets not taken for children. Then we had an argument there, where that guy told, the person at the ticket counter is an agent, what he knows. The rule is ‘ticket for all’. We were not hesitant to take ticket, but as told only we moved. So proper communication not seen near the counter.2.@Sant Surdas (Sihil). Asked about the washroom, the CISF person’s words, ‘mere kho patha nahi(I don’t know). 😳, he might have been used at least ones his duty days there. As I entered the screening door. I lifted my arm and the CISF person scanned ones and I was about to move. He said ‘wait here, where are you rushing’. I think there is some problem with the person. Actualy I was there around 3:30pm no rush. If this way he works, how would he has been during morning and evening. The rush will be there and he may not scan as did today to me.Such things/bugs to be removed. On cleaning this, my comment will be excellent.

Definitely a great example of beautiful architecture and engineering. The building from both outside and inside looks very attractive and different than any normal glass or brick or mortar building. This is the administrative building of Delhi Metro or DMRC. Entry is restricted only to authorised personnel. Inside the lobby is very well decorated with various pictures of metro rail. Entry for visitors is not allowed after 5 pm.
