This is one of the most reputed hospitals of Delhi in terms of facilities and doctors. Paramedical staff appears to be more than any other private hospitals.Majority of the nurses are working there for more than decades which speaks volumes about working condition and the management. They have built a spacious multistorey parking which relieves lot of pressure from yours shoulders. The canteen serves excellent food and their room service (for attendants of in patients) is very prompt.Being an old hospital the OPD area is very crowded. Since the doctors are good, patients overlook this inconvenience.

And the above rating of 5* is purely because of the doctors and not admin or facilities available.If you rate the hospital on other parameters my rating would be:- Admission: 1* it is not easy to get a bed in this hospital and even if you get a bed the whole procedure take around 2hrs which is torturous with patient waiting in the lobby.- Parking: 1* they have a multilevel parking but they charge you 20 rupees per hour, so if your patient is admitted and your car is parked there... be ready to shell out few thoudand rupees for parking. For a hospital itd exorbitant.- Cleanliness: 1* common areas are not maintained especially washrooms, you would rather avoid going there.In a nutshell, go to this place only and only for the doctors. Else avoid.

Very bad personal experience... There is huge misconception that it is a charitable hospital. Services are pretty bad although charges are grossly exorbitant. Although Doctors may be good but even in OPD after prior appointment, your turn may come after 3-4 hrs of scheduled time. All other services including Casualty, nursing and associated services are pretty low standard, no empathy or focus on patient care... My dad had to spend 18 days for a surgery and costed us almost 7 Lacs which should have taken 4-5 days in a good hospital... I still wonder what happens to the poor chaps who come in general OPD. Have seen even poor patients being charged in lakhs for hospital stay. May be corporatization of medical profession due to insurance companies has drastically lowered this noble profession...

1) Totally disorganised, its a chaotic mess. Very poor customer service. Appointments are not given by fixed time slot, you have to wait 2-3 hrs 2) Not enough seating areas, even old people, women with babies were standing for hours 3) No proper communication from staff, totally overloaded & confused 4) Many staff are rude, one lady at registration counter refused to give her pen just to sign the registration form even though she was not using it. She was rude to old patients also. 5) Very expensive, charging double for consultation, market rate Rs 700, they charge Rs 1,000-1,500. Top management just wants to make a such money as possible

Actually private but behaviourally worse than a government hospital. They close building doors and washrooms post 11pm. Keep on lying about admission process and room availability. You cant get a room here even if doctor has given in written to be admitted. Doctors will switch off their phones post 9, howsoever big the emergency is.

I have been here many times. The doctors and all the staff are amazing and actually very cordial to treat patients.All the in-house facilities for diagnosis and treatment make it one of the best hospital in Delhi.There is also a park nearby where majority of patients attendant can wait and relax.The multilevel parking and cafe area are also cool to manage the crowd.The doctors at SGR are one of the best in the country and they make sure you get treated right.

Mum Prabha Lata Mehra was admitted in the HDU end of August and after a few days we were told that as per procedure she will need to be transferred from there to be discharged. We requested for a single deluxe room and were told that there is none available so if we can take her where ever we want from the hospital as they required HDU bed.We tried to pull favour from all our contacts and subsequently after 2 days we managed to get a room and transferred at midnight. I requested to wait till the morning and was told they will not hold the room till the morning. The service and standards are unbelievable and level of care is shocking. Some of the doctors on your bill dont ever come to see the patients its a fraudulent practice and you are not allowed to challenge .we were told Wed will need to be discharged on Friday, so we did all the arrangements but least did we know that they wanted to bill us for another day so the process is getting delayed .They sent our file to the billing at 10am on Friday as after 10 they can charge us till Sat. This was the least of my worries. We did not get discharged till after 10pm and the medical team refused to give necessary percribed 💉injection to my mum 84 yrs old diabetic and were told that file is in billing and they will not be doing any further treatment. I made a formal complaint to the Doctor and requested response from Dr RANA .I got nowhere with it whie I was in the hospital oŕ after discharge.I would suggest unless you have a doctor who has influence in the admissions or a contact who can bribe the team dont bother .I have DRS in family they all feel this place is a disgrace to medical practice .No procedures of social distances or sanitisation are maintained. Housekeeping and and general maintenance is not even attended whilst we were in a deluxe private room. It should have been checked prior to giving away rooms.

Doctor are very less attentive towards patient.My mother after being diagnosed with breast cancer. We consulted known oncologist from the hospital after so many recommendations. Hospital is charging large sum of money for treatment which was not a concern as motive was to get the right treatment. However, hospitals are more concerned about money. My mother had to wait with us for almost an hour to get the admission formalities done. A fees of 2000 bucks is not a small amount for just one sitting. After being added to the bill, doctor did not came once to check my mother throughout her 1st chemo therapy. I mean their is a charge for doctor consultation fee added in the bill. However, juniors who came always said doctor will tell you everything.However, Dr. Sandeep Agarwal who did my mothers surgery to was very attentive and did all that it takes for a patient to get a good treatment.

Recently one of my friend fell ill and i had to rush to this hospital.Every thing is good over here but one thing i wanna say that this hospital is not for Lower/Middle class family.Their fee is damn high.I mean my friend had some symptoms of typhoid and they told him for blood check up.... straight away they charged him 6000 just for blood check up.Although the kind of facilities they provide is very good but still they should also think of poor/middle class people.

This hospital is a multipurpose hospital. If youre visiting this hospital for the first time it got bit confusing.There are division for patients. New building is for wealthy and well to do patients. And other part which is old building is for middle class and lower class patients. So, if youre not so wealthy dont choose the other one, which is expensive for your pocket.Due to its enormous size its difficult for staffs to focus on any one thing, so you can be ignorent by them. They wont able to help you much. Can say that staffs became quite rude and ignorant, due to word load.Nearby location of this hospital is amazing. You can explore the area to refresh your mind.

Ganga Ram has qualified doctors and great facilities however the administration and nursing staff are utter disappointment. They are rude. They dont provide clear info. They want you to clear the counter by any means. In my case, they asked me to call and enquire however when I called administration reception does not even answer the phone. They should give clear answers however they act immature.Its been more than 24 hours I hv been calling them and what they do is to not pick up the call.Same is for their discharge procedure, they are super slow. They take almost 24 hours to discharge a patient and you keep running from one department to the other.Its high time that they organise a proper channel for admission and clear response system.

I had my father admitted in the gangaram hospital, it was the worst mistake of my life admitting him there, the doctors couldnt even diagnose the disease. Dr. Amrendra pathak and Dr . Vinant bhargav are responsible for his worst health today. Totally dissatisfied with the treatment, gangaram is all about spending lot amount of money and resulting no cure.Never go to gangaram the operated for prostate which wasnt even needed.

Located in Karol Bagh , this is one of the best hospitals in Delhi with a very capable medical staff. There is a multilevel car parking within the hospital premises to cater to the visitors. The doctors are some of the best in Delhi but the only drawback is the long waiting time for consultation. The trust people have in this hospital is very high. It has a general OPD as well during morning and afternoon hours where you can consult with the doctor at a cheaper rate. Cost wise this hospital is in the mid range and won’t give you that big of a shock like all other private hospitals have no shame in doing. I would definitely suggest this hospital for all kinds of serious treatments as well because they treat their patients well and I have firsthand experience in it.

Worst experience at sgrh hospital. We had our 2 month baby surgery at sgrh hospital.Surgery was good and Dr Raja joshi is a great surgeon.But Nursing staff and hospital management was worst. Exorbitant price for mediocre consultation. I consulted a senior ob-gyn, who took Rs 2200 for consultancy, she did not deem it necessary to explain my condition to me, explain where we are going with tests or now but kept keeping multiple tests even ones with no relevance at all to my disease. She refused to speak to the people who had accompanied me, my family. Asked 3 lakh rupees to do a simple laproscopic process, which she said must be done here. Likewise the exorbitantly rated tests must be done here, it was just a money minting process. The primary quality of gangaram is not providing care but being extremely shamelessly greedy. I urge everyone to not select this hospital for any care as I have recently went there for my nephew treatment (not for Covid). My nephew (10yrs.old) was suffering from high fever, and as per covid report he was negative..but when I took him to this hospital one of the Doctor has suggested to go for covid test again because they dont accept any outside report as valid. I was ok with that and have spend INR 4500/- for covid test again in this hospital. Now that Dr. told me to admit in covid emergency ward by the time report will come. Why should I admit my nephew in covid ward if he is not covid positive I aksed further. He said we dont have any other place apart from that. Really it was a worrisome situation for me. Now admission people asked to pay INR 1Lac without knowing the fact. I spend my 2-3hrs and then decided to choose other hospital. Pls dont go there as they treated every patient covid positive. Also the Dr. to whom we interacted was so rude and didnt know how to behave with patient. DONT GO!

I went to see this doctor sometime back and first of all, I had wait for more than 5 hours in the queue. There is no slot management and all patients are called at the same time. And, imagine after waiting for 6 long hours he didnt even give us 5 mins of time. When I went there, he saw the reports and referred some tests. I came back with test results after 2 hours and again he referred to another doctor. I dont have issue with his referral but he should have at least heard the problem. In my last two visits, he would have hardly spent 10 mins in total. This looses the faith if he is even concerned or not.

I would have rated zero if possible. First of all there emergency services are pathetic , every kind of patient lying on trolley seeking for attention, theres lack of staff in emergency and they are always overwhelmed. My patient got treatment 5 hours after entering the hospital and mind you she is the case of brain hemorrhage. In the wards they have trainee sisters who dont know there work obviously, simple task of blood sampling is tedious for them . And to top it all they will charge you full day room charges and boot you as soon as the bill is paid. Being a doctor myself ,seeing this pathetic state of affair I am really aghast .

I had a history of Chronic Suppurative otitis media due to which I got perforation in my ear drum which resulted in ear infections in June 2020. Due to pandemic outbreak and lockdown, I was unable to get proper treatment done under experienced junior or senior doctors due to which none of the doctors could identify that I had fungal ear infection. Till Oct end I was constantly continued on multiple antibiotics which not only gave no relief but also due to persistent ear infection my inner ear bones were dissolving slowly and my hearing was decreasing. Not only this with Gods grace I escaped a trap of a senior doctor practicing in Rajender nagar who was constantly convincing on getting ear surgery done at some shady hospital even while my ear infection wasnt over. Subsequently I visited Ganga Ram hospital in Nov with a lot of pain, tension and agony but under expert treatment and guidance of Dr Uday Monga and eventually Dr Nitin Agarwal (who has been my prime ent specialist) not only my fungal infection improved in a week and I was relieved of my agony but also with the help of expert knowledge and patience showed by Dr Nitin Agarwal, the damage done to my ear canal by fungal infection got completly healed in 2 months without any recurrence of infection.He patiently identified the course of action required and subsquently I underwent suggested surgery on 9th feb at Ganga Ram under experienced and expert team of Dr Nitin and Mongas. He was extremely cautious regarding my course of treatment which was to be done under his team so that I could get the best possible surgery covering my hearing loss as well. He was also helpful in guiding us about the procedure, hospital stay and post opertive care. He has also been always available on phone in case of any issue or querries.Im extremely thankful to Dr Nitin Agarwal and his team at Ganga Ram hospital which in itself is a well maintained hospital for helping me go through this phase of 6 months smoothly and get rid of my long persistent ear issue with their efforts, experience and knowledge.

Emergency patient of 76 years age have to wait for 4-5 hours in a queue. No washroom in emergency wing.Pathetic!!!! Zero serviceJust looking for money.No human life value.

I had an appointment with my regular doctor. Somehow missed it.Received alternative appointment with Dr. Sharmistha Garg . With due respect to all other doctors Sharmistha Garg is awesome and excellent . She excels her field. She is very polite and cordial .So half of the illness diminishes here. I am very much captivated by her that I am thinking of switching my regular doctor .

I had worst experience while consulting Dr. Sachin Kathuria (Urologist). I had appointment with him on 12.03.2021 at 10:00 am. He came at 10:40 am and started talking over phone. During barely 10 minutes of my meeting with him, half the time he was on phone.I paid Rs 2000/- as consultation fee just to be neglected. He was getting phone calls of his acquaintances and he was attending to them with my reports in his hands.In this hospital unless you know some doctor, you will be treated as persona non grata.PROFESSOR OF PHYSICS
