Well I went to this place by my car on a rainy day. And believe me it was nothing less then a horrifying experience. It became a havoc as i was wearing a coat and leather shoes.The car parking area, despite being quite vast, has a very poor drainage system. They is no shed from the parking lot till the passport Kendra, you are on Gods mercy.Despite they gave an appointment, but still I could see a huge rush waiting for their turns. For a moment i thought there is no point of an appointment as any one can just go inside as per their whole and fancies. Although the guards were there, but I could not find them much alert.Their was an in house photo copier matching, which I needed because of a Xerox I required, but to my wonder the operator was missing from his seat despite I (along with many others) was waiting for him with for need. On asking about operator from other available staff, most of them did not give heed to my query as it was not at all their business.However, on request, one of their employees indeed the building helped me in getting a Xerox through his scanner machine.Also, they are no sign board anywhere near by the building, which made it quite difficult for me to reach the place (ever Google map did not show the place correctly, nowI have suggested an edit on the map though).

Place is neat and clean. There is ample space for parking your vehicles. Entry is adjacent to the Toyota car showroom. Photocopy shop is there inside the office.

Everything is well managed.Everyone followed queue rule.Temperature checked at door.Sanitizer Avilable at door.Plz bring your 10th or qualification Documents original with Adhar card and Pan card and voter id originals. Otherwise you have to visit again. We forgot 10th certificate so we need to go again.Photocopy machine Avilable inside office charge rs 2 per page.Photocopy must be clear not blur orblack shadow on page allows.Parking Avilable no charges.Washroom available.Small canteen is also there.

Must carry 3-4 photocopies of Aadhar card , Pan card / voters ID. There is only one photocopy machine inside the premises which was not working the day we went and locating another photocopier was difficult and time consuming. other than that the staff was EXCELLENT . Very efficient , co operative and fast. All other documents to be carried are mentioned in the official website.

They provide very fast service and you dont have to Wait in ququed for longer time.

Not easily recognizable from traffic. Office is deep inside. But good staff. There are cars showrooms in front and at back passport office

Services are great but as others have mentioned they try to sell you the cover for 500 which is optional initially at the document checking counter and later once you are getting your photo clicked. If you deny then their attitude towards you changes. They try to convince you that it is required and definitely a lot of people fall into their scam.I hope someone reads this and take appropriate action.

Punctual, Polite and Helpful staff once you enter inside, though the guards manning the entrance could be a little more polite, strict adherence to social distancing was missing.

Best Passport Seva Kendra office in Shalimar Place. Same as like ITO PSK office. This is less queue office. You dont have to wait so much as compare to ITO PSK.

Everything were done in less than 30 mins. better go with just 10th marksheet and adhar card with their photocopies.

They said PCC can be obtained from any statePSK OFFICE if you are indian citizen but it is not easy to get it . police verification take time and the police who came for verification asked us to change all our original documents like adhhaar, passport. He take Id proff from my uncle and aunty for witness. And he give the results to the PSK OFFICE as not clear too.the staff are kind and polite to the customer.

Some very important points before going there:1.Women staff is impressive as always but some men, they are just mannerless.2.Bring with you every original document. They may find flaws in your documents which you cant see but they will, so better carry all of them so you dont have to go there again.3.Hardly takes more than 2 hours for anybody.4.Food vendors are there inside the facility.5.They wont submit your helmets & only applicant applying for passport is allowed inside.6. Try your best to reach on time.

One scam going on here.They will give you a contact number of Naveen and ask you to pay Rs 500 for Passport Cover. They will tell you in such a way that you would end up paying. But dont pay them. It is not required. The department people are making fools out of people by telling them to pay 500 Rs. Just question them regarding why you need Rs 500. And they will then tell you that it is not compulsory. So, beware of that.

Supportive officials! But know in advance that buying a passport protective cover is completely optional.

Fast, polite,clear,clean and good service. Hassle free place for passport. Visited there for my passport and got all the process done within 45 minutes.

Pros :everything is electronic like your application form and copy of your documents .. Just u have to carry your originals.Paid Photocopy is available inside the psk .All kind of processing is very fast and easyJust you have to follow the number given to you and visit the respective counter.Great parking space available.Only the applicant can enter the PSK.Cons:The waiting area for the visitor with the applicant is not good.The visitor is not allowed in the PSK so u need to sit outside.The biggest problem is that No washroom or toilet facility for applicant visitors.No air-condition or fan is there in that area as shown in photos. It is a semi-covered area.Two cafes are there for the visitor so at least we can have tea of light snacks.

I went for my Daughters Passport, she is 2 year old. When i presented photograph to representative they said photograph is not good and asked me to go out and get a new photographs immediately. When I went out Security guard told me that there is a shop at front road. When I reached there a PAN shop that is also a shop for this urgent passport photographs, shop keeper said i know details just allow me to click photographs its 10 min job (8 pics for 100 Rs/-) when i returned back to passport office they were happy with photograph(though quality of photograph is not good). All sorted that day however yesterday I got a call from Passport Head office that your daughters passport photograph is not clear please come to Head office with new passport size photograph.Summary:- Tata staff at Shalimar PSK is having partnership with PAN shop keeper and they are making handsome money this way and they are making people fool and just earning extra bugs resulting end user are facing problems. I am sure they will be more cases like this that happened in past and not get reported, I hope some authority should take action against this very soon.

Very well managed facility, do not have to wait too much for any round basic facilities are available such as water, food and photocopy services, staff are polite and helpful. Got out from the office within two hours only and passport was delivered in just 2 days. parking is a big problem though thats why one less star otherwise a nice experience

So I reached an hour before the allotted time. And they entertained. Barely 15 min it took to get through all the formalities. 10th certification and adhar card were the only documents they asked for. Theres a photocopy booth inside the kendra.On second counter , they ask for 500Rs. For passport cover , which is not compulsory, you can deny for it , but the way they ask , it seems compulsory and people land up paying the amount , so beware of that.Rest everything is beautifully organized.

It mostly takes around 1 to 1:15 hours for regular cases (with proper docs).Entry is appointment based.Staff is very fast.At entry, they manually check your docs. There is a photocopy machine inside only so it helps in case you forgot any photocopies.You will get a token number and then everything will be tracked using this token number.Once your docs get approved, you will be taken in and proceed to counter A then B and finally counter C.This entire process takes 1 hour approx.

Helpful and supportive staff, clean and hygienic place. everything is well maintained and functioned. Guards are helpful.canteen is not great. Parking is easily accessible. Everything is scheduled very nicely and my experience is very great about this place for all of these things. The system is very easy and flexible. You need to go online to apply for new passport, torn or damaged passport, lost passport, name change, address change or for new born babies. Fees ranges from 2000 and above which you can pay online. The center is having few seats outside in open for visitors who come along with applicants. The slot numbers are mentioned in the application printout with timings so it is better to reach half an hour before your slot to avoid rush and rejection. Inside the centre Halls are cozy and seating with coffee etc are available and it can take up 2 hours to finish formalities.

The place is good and services are nice as well but things will take time to get done as there are a lot of people most of the time. One of the executive was talking on the phone while attending me which is completely waste of time and making me wait for no reason. Rest was fine.

Its day 36 after submission of clear police verification and there is no update on passport. I dont think people work here. They are sitting there just for fun. Avoid if you can

Really appreciate their job.When u have all documents you will not have to worry ..First take token number.. get entry into hall, then go to counter number A they will take your documents and capture photograph and ask for your finger prints.. Then go-to counter no B , then counter no C and exit. ..And you are done. 😄

1)Excellent servicelate commers are allowed (if you became late for your appointment, then dont worry its ok you can still get your appointment)2) photocopy services ( there is a photocopy counter inside this PSK. So if you forget to bring photocopies of your documents then just dont rush to any other photocopy shop nearby as when you get inside, get your photocopies done easily without any queue)

From my first experience of passport application approximately 11years back, this was like a piece of cake. No messy ques, not much waiting, almost every one behaving quite well which is unusual in a government office.Even though everything is now computerized and in the system there can be found more magnificent ways to speed up the whole process, but still the way things have come up, it is highly commendable.

Good and efficient service however theres no washroom and no fan available for visiotrs waiting outside the PSK.

The first point after the entry is badly managed. Long queues, rush and a Govt Hospital like atmosphere. But as soon as you get your ticket and move inside, you get to witness a sudden change. Nicely set up and managed sections await you just as the courteous staff. Things are done super fast and was overall a quiet satisfying experience by the end.

One of the ghatiya service i have ever seen . My wife went there with 6 month old kid in noon . One of the bihari was there . She has shows all documents to that guy and he is treating like he is prime minister. I will suggest ITO is best option fast service there and all employee are coperacoope.

The process is streamlined and relatively fast. However, the number of Verifying and Approving Officers is less creating a bottleneck. The discretionary power of the Officers also needs to be reduced and guidelines implemented in toto.

After verification done for the first time and waiting for the token no. one has to wait a lot but after that, it goes with good pace.One thing that was best according to me was if you forgot photocopy of ur documents you can get from there as there is photocopy shop inside passport Seva Kendra.For fresh passport, they just want two proofs aadhar card and 10th certificate.

Looks organised and clean with proper processes. Clean washrooms inside with nice air conditioning. They claim to have snacks with tea and coffee that is paid though but actually it is not available. Although appointments are given with a 15 mins time window, they actually do not make much sense because it is just for your start time window. Actual 3 step process takes more than 2 hrs. You can end spending a lot of time here in spite of the appointment time you are provided with. Not very high in standards in that sense. And they dont care how bad your photo is even after clicking with a digital camera. Just like old times with webcams I guess. Not as good as international standards services however you can say as per past experience from 10 years back it was somewhat better.

The working staff is nice and supportive. The flow of work is smooth with almost no hassles. The location is great as being on the main road. The only problem is the parking nearby. No organised parking here, you might get your car stuck at times.

It was horrible!! 3 times they sent me back.. APO officer is the worst! Totally unhelpful and rude! Last time he sent me back because the bonafide certificate I got my college didnt mention the name of our principal, even though, it had her sign and stamp with proper documentation.. and he had the nerve to say- you can take the token if you want, but ultimately Ill reject it.. please pick some other center.. because frankly, this one sucks!

The service is good and the staff is helpful.I will list out the process if you are a first time visitor:There are three stages a,b and c.First you enter and go to the first counter and submit your documents after verification of documents you are given a token number and then you have to show that token number to a gaurd there and he will let you in the waiting area.There are 2 TV screens in the area where the token numbers appear you wait for your turn and then go in. After that the process is pretty straight forward and there are people to help you out with stuff.

I have never seen a govt staff working so efficiently... Keep it up guys... Now my beliefs among govt offices has been revived ..kind request to all citizens please cooperate with them...

Google Maps, please upadate direction section as U turn from pillar No 49 is closed. Instead it is from pillar No 52.It is smaller than ITO PSK, hence less time consuming. Theres good waiting area outside PSK which includes eateries as well.Also, since it is situated on outer ring road, there is lesser traffick problem.

Landmark: Galaxy Toyota Showroom, Opp. Hotel Premier Inn(3 Kms from Madhuban Chowk towards Karnal Bypass), C and D Block, Shalimar Place Site, Shalimar Bagh, Delhi, 110088. The staff are good. They solved my Visa issue in less than a week so I thanks them for their time and generosity.

Some important tips when you visit passport seva kendra:1. While applying online you will be asked if you want to opt for sms service or not. It will cost you 50 rupees which you will pay at the seva kendra in cash. Its beneficial to opt for this service as it will help you to track your application and will keep you updated time to time.2. You dont need to print your appointment receipt, the sms you get for your appointment is enough. Save paper here :)3. Outside PSK there will be one que, always ask the guard for which batch is the que for for example batch 11,12,13 etc. As it is waste of time and efforts standing in the que which is not yours (Refer appointment receipt and text message for the batch number)4. I had applied for fresh passport and I only required 2 documents - 10th certificate and adhar card and 1-1 photocopies of each, carry originals as well.5. You dont need to carry any photographs as they will click one there. So dress decent and look decent :)6. Always stay alert and keep looking at the screen at the waiting area for your token number. You dont want to miss your turn ! Sometimes the screen doesnt show your token number and the employee call your name so KEEP LISTENING.7. You will get your passport dispatched to your doorstep via speed post within 10-15 days. You will get a tracking number to track the progress online.8. Leather sleeves/covers for passports are available at PSK for the price of around 200. Thats optional.9. Refreshments like sandwich tea cofee etc. are available at the PSK.10. Washrooms are clean and hygenic.11. Dont carry laptops they are strictly not allowed at PSK.12. Parking for both 2 wheelers and 4 wheelers is available at the PSK free of cost.12. Free parking , wheel chair enabled , clean toilets , working timing is 9am to 5 pm . After 5 in the evening no more tokens , staff is nice and helpful . It took us less than 35-40 minutes to complete whole process . ATM machine is just nearby . Open space sitting is available for other people who are guest . Saturday and Sunday are both non working days . Easy to reach by car or two-wheeler .

If I could give them no star! The APO1 and the B counter people very impolite and put our documents on hold! I went there for the verification of my passport details. Everytime they give us next appointment and ask to come back as if we are just free for them! They ask for documents which are not really req. I submitted all the req docs and still had to visit them thrice and they cancelled my verification and i had to apply again!! It feels as if we are non-resident of India and are Terrorists! Annoyed with their services !!!!!!!!!!

Passport verification centre & fantastic staff

The staff is divided into staff from private companies like Tata and government officials. Their behavior also reflects differences between them. Private Staff are courteous and helpful whereas government staff are opposite of it.

Location is brilliant am impressed by passport office staff becuze service is a grade all member are well know how to handle a customer i have completed my entire process with a hour because much corporative staff are there i shall suggest to you select this psk if you want to clear your appointment without any hares . again thanks to all PSK shalimar place staff keep it up guys you all are doing are well for our community.

I must say that this shalimar place passport seva kendra bekar h the staff is so rude and no one is there to help you out. In first visit(evening time) the staff was closed there work and said that now time is over come tomorrow . This is the way the govt doing there work and kitni dur se ate h ofc, college, school ka off leke ate h we are not fool here and for one signature I visit there thrice time.Govt ko time ni dena chaiye na shamka if emp has problem to . They should be manage there work.

Waiting area dont have any fan in summer as well no arrangements for winter in the same area. Suggest some change in waiting area. Staff in office is good.

I have applied for fresh passport on 16.4.2018 vide file No. DL2062237252618 and my passport has been printed but Not dispatch till date. ???

The Office, Place and staff is good. however if you are applying for TATKAAL passport then please avoid this office and prefer RK PURAM PSK. The reason being that you will need Annexure B mendatory in this office and not in RK puram PSK.

Most unhelpful, uninformed and indecent people make the staff of this shalimar bagh psk.I went to apply for my baby’s passport,they made us wait for an hour prior to accepting our application. There was one man with beard on counter C, very rude and highly uninformed about the process, he was unclear that if my baby is born in india so does it qualifies for him to be an indian citizen or not.

I applied for passport under tatkal and everything was done in just 4 days(20 September-23 September). They actually want to see the verification certificate if you are applying under tatkal category (in addition to 3 out of 16 documents). Although I was not having any verification certificate (Annexure B) with me on 20th, I wrote a letter addressed to APO about it after explaining what I was following is as per the requirements mentioned online(as per the PSK portal). He accepted the letter and approved it after verifying the Aadhar, PAN and Election ID from the respective sites meant for verification. He agreed to proceed with my application for tatkal with the 3 documents submitted instead of the verification certificate. Rest was quite good and quick. On 23rd September I got the passport via speed post.Just keep everything in place, reason well(when necessary) and ensure your names and addresses on all the documents required are the same. The staff(both TCS one and governmental one) is cooperative.

Staff is really good and helpful, important note- if you mentioned that you are 10th passed then in your 10th certificate name should be the same in all your documents like aadhar card or pan card even fathers name and mothers name should be the same in all the documents. The will not accept 10th Marksheet.

I have been to this office thrice, every time i went there i have faced one or another issue,for all readers for passport renewal or PCC, u need to carry both the application and payment printout, else you need to slog to get it from the nearby shop.so for passport renewal,you need to carry, you need to carry, photostat copy of your first and last page and also a page before first and last, (for safety sake) also, carry both the application and payment printout, along with original of aadhar or whatever documents you have attached along with the application.*in case you forgot to bring xerox, the machine installed inside the passport office however, in case if you need printout you need to go little far off to the nearest market in the nearest village which is about 500 meter from the passport office. and he charge 30rs for a black and white printout so it make sense to take printout before you leave your home, nearest shop address which offers printout faculty is given in the photo section of my reviewand in case of minor, please fill up form d and bring both parents passport and also both should be present (advisable)POINTS TO REMEMBER1. reach before time, (not more than 5-10 mins), else it would be difficult to stand outside, moreover waiting area does not have fan so you will die in humidity, they have kept water dispenser however in the absence of disposable glasses it would become difficult to drink water hygiene factor.2. they have CANTEEN however, the canteen does not offer anything to eat or drink, so in case if you are going alone or with kids plz make arrangements accordingly3. PARKING : parking space is enough and they dont charge, so please do not park on road rather park inside the premises and save others time and keep your car safe and secure4. they CHARGE 45rs for the sms facility so please you can opt for the service while you are doing the booking online and save yourself5. TIME: most importantly, please dont think that you will be free quickly, it is a time taking process and you should take time in hand

I have visited it 2 times.Very good passport related services.For a normal adult who is 12 or 10th pass should bring his/her certificate and Aadhar card and pan card.Please ensure your name and date of birth is same in all the documents.Unless your application may be rejected.And people who are less than 10th standard should bring Aadhar and pan card.But please bring other documents as officers see all ids.For ex.Photo passbook of running bank account.Driving or learning licence.Voter id card etc.

I has appointment at 4:15 PM and I was called exactly at 4:15. My process had started as per the mentioned time.Staff was quiet calm and supportive.We need more centres like Shalimar place PSK

Impolite individuals out to worsen your day. Send individuals for re appointments without a second thought. My first appointment was so bad i felt i was being treated as if i were uneducated and their behavior was inhumane. My second appointment was better and good for them otherwise they would have had it. Though they again acted as if it was hard for them to see the same individual twice !! Timings available are bad you lose out a whole day of work since thney take 2 hours for a 10 minute job. 9-11, bam and you are donw

Not so gud with the front offc executives. Overall the process has improved A LOT. So, it takes approx 2 hrs to submit applications/documents and get click click done. And thats all for the day.Now, the painful part And it could be me only. Applied for a family of 4 (husband, wife and 2 minor kids) on 9/5/2016. Wifes passport is abt to be delivered (printing stage) while it still shows application submitted with reqd docs and applicable fees for me and the kids. Wow!!!!
