Charged me a whopping 15k(initially was asking 25k) to write 1 letter to be sent to 6,7 different law/police agencies/Depts. I was hamstrung in different ways. I was not given. The no of the my lawyer and was always at the mercy of the owner who would connect me to him. Knowing I was going through a turbulent phase alone ( no job, poor physical health, a raging sister back home out to destroy me etc etc), I should have got more cooperation. I had to follow up for the letters every alternate day as my case was given the least priority. 1st Feb onwards, I had given a go ahead with the letters and yet, I got the draft after 18th Feb, after repeated follow ups. Also , I was asked to post the letter even though the discussion was that they will post the letters. Some amatuer must have drafted the letter as I, with zero qualification could have done a better job at it. If they know there is no recurring income and the client is vulnerable and there is not much financial gain, I dont think they give any importance to the case.
