Hi, I am Sahir and I am an actor. Acting classes are conducted for 2 hours a day, one cannot learn acting in 2 hours, 4 hours a day is the minimum time you need to give to the craft. I have never been a student but had researched about their institute, I feel bad when I see institutes conducting classes for 2 hours, 3 years a day.@Craft Film school, please understand that teaching acting is a responsible job. Do not mess it !I hope you take the message positively and give training at least 4 hours everyday to 1 batch, charge higher fees or not, commercial angle comes later, its an artwork, please remember that, it will take time .

The picture posted with this message is one i took last week while i visited my Institute CRAFT FILM SCHOOL in Qutab Institutional area. I was a student of Cinematography course in CRAFT when it was located in Rohini sec-9 till last year .One of the major reasons for enrolling myself in CRAFT was the fees . I had searched for many institutes offering Cinematography but comparing others, Craft is the only institute with economically suitable structure. also they had the mode of paying fees in instalments. The classroom training in “Craft film school” was superb. I really love the way Mr.Arun Dhaiya made us learn the concept of lighting used for cinematography, color and contrast for photography. The thing I loved the most about these sessions was, as soon as we learn new concepts, sufficient time was given to us to implement the same. There was no restriction to use equipments from CRAFT . We use to take the equipment along for outdoor shoots as well. There were many wonderful workshops conducted while i was student one such workshop was bySanthosh C. Thundiyil, a graduate from FTII, who has shot kuch kucj hota hai, krish, patiala house, raqudy rathore took our workshop which was very helpful for me in learning the concept of photography in film making. He shared his experience in the movie Krish in which a high crane and 3 cameras were used for a stunt. I learnt a lot from the practical exercises given to us.Today i am really doing well in Mumbai It is next best institute after FTII

I am final year architecture student. I visited the CRAFT Film School for a case study as a part of my thesis. The school is very aesthetically and functionally sound. The space planning is very good and practical. Efficient use of the limited space. The school is on a lower ground floor/basement area but is properly lit and has a plenty of natural light. The interiors of the school are bright and colourful and pleasing for the creative mind. The staff and faculty were also very helpful in all regards. They answered all my questions and provided other helpful information for my thesis. Its a great school for learning all about the art of film making and production with the best mentors and latest technology and facilities.

I joined CRAFT Film Institute after searching a lot for mass communication institutes. When I first met admission counselor , I felt that her counseling helped me a lot in choosing right course as i was not sure what i really wanted to be, a bit of confused about media. finally i realized i wanted to join DIRECTION COURSE . Various classes with professionals added value to our theory sessions as they were experience sharing session from the industry professionals. The best thing about my institute is that it is always available online for help. They are so corporate that when you need any help related to shoot, you get the answer on the same day or next morning, it was such a wonderful support that you do encounter various problems while shooting, where you need immediate help from the institute you are studying particularly when you are not from Delhi .

Hi guys, I was a student here in direction and editing department. You can definitely join this institute if your aim is to achieve some knowledge about film industry and the craft which you want to pursue. But if you are looking for a job providing agency then don’t go for it. It can only do what it is meant for. PROVIDE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT A CRAFT OF YOUR CHOICE AND ABOUT THE FILM INDUSTRY.I was provided with a good library of books, movies and some good equipments along with some brilliant permanent and guest teachers.I really had no issue that it was in the interior of a market area in my time but I am really happy that they have moved to a rightful place where an institute should be. Kudos to that.Well, I am not a big player from this institute but I have done a Hindi feature film - Lakhon Hain Yahan Dilwale, a commercial with Govinda, 2 Doordarshan TV series and many tele brands commercials. I am currently working as a freelance post processing service provider for Netflix, Amazon Prime, Pixelogic and some more companies. So, I can say this much about them. I think I have earned this much right. If you think any institute can provide you a sure shot place in the film industry, reality check, it’s not true. Only your hard work can do that. Or be born as a “star kid”.Again, the industry will take a lot from you before giving anything. Be prepared.

I am glad to see that many of senior alumina of CRAFT film schools are sharing thier views for cinematography course. While as a student of  Craft, I also got an opportunity to work as an observer of PINK FILM because it was shot in delhi. Our director Mr. Naresh sharma happens to know personally, DOP of the film as they were colleagues in FTII Pune .and hence for week everyday i was allowed to observe the shoot. Thanks, CRAFT for helping us in our dreams to be a well know cinematographer one day.

My Craft film school learning experience has been a tremendously satisfying . It has given me valuable training in the field of Acting. It helped me to become competent enough to face the hurdles in this particular field .Various acting workshops by guest faculties from NSD like Durgesh sir| dinesh khanna sir have made us learn the skills of acting which is helping in mumbai now.I Feel Proud as a CRAFT Student...Thanks... Mr. Naresh Sharma Sir.
