Good service and facility.My mother got operated for Pacemaker in June 2021 but at the time of relieving her no diet chart was given . When we went for follow up in July 2021 we were asked for a booklet (supposed to be given at the time of relieving the patient) but we never got that. Again after 10 days for follow up again the nurse on duty asked for the booklet .So a request to the management to look into these small small issues.

Very well equipped for all kind of heart related issues and also performs surgery. Highly experienced Doctors on panel. Paid parking is available but not enough. If any patients came under OPD and he is not able to sit, breathe n feel dizziness then he should be atleast given priority to other patients who are atleast comfortable to sit. But, this wasnt the logic followed in hospital and I keep asking the attendant to atleast talk to Dr Vinod Sharma and he may inform to send that patients. I hope hospital management atleast pay heed to the above.

My mother was admitted in NHI on 17th November after her SO2 levels dropped at home. We immediately called Dr.Ambar Khaira and he advised to rush to hospital. All the tests were done on the same night and early in the morning we get to know that she has Covid Pneumonia and her lungs were effected badly. She was in ICU for almost 10 days and got discharged from hospital on 30th Nov. My mother is completely satisfied with the treatment and she specifically mentioned that utmost care was taken in ICU and ward both. Staff was very caring and helpful in all conditions. I would also like to mention one name Ms Priyanka Datta who was very kind and of great support. All health workers are working in very difficult conditions in Covid time, I wish all the best to them.

Update as on Mar 23rd, 2021 - My recent experiences with the hospital administration has been good .. all thanks to Chandra Madam. Rooms provided were as per requirement to keep both my baby and me comfortable pre and post surgery. I would really like to thank Chandra Madam for her efficient handling of administration. Also, my heartfelt gratitude to the Department of Plastic & Reconstructive surgery (Dr. Karoon Agrawal, Dr. Anshumali Mishra & Noone Gurung) for everything.Last Update - I am rating the hospital based on my todays experience with hospital administration. My 4.5 months baby was supposed to undergo a reconstructive procedure tomorrow and we were asked to get admitted today evening so as to facilitate the patient as well other pre operative procedures/investigations. But, shockingly, after performing all pre operative procedures (go aheads and Covid-19 testing) on Monday itself (to facilitate smooth admission and TPA formalities), we were told that there are no rooms/beds available tonight. We were asked to admit the baby directly into recovery (and expose him to further infections) and stay overnight there or till any single room becomes available. We ended up postponing the date of surgery as of now.The surgery type in my case is an elective one and hence can wait for few more days. But, if it is the same plight of other specialities, I cannot even imagine what the patient or the family has to go through.There seems a lot of callousness in the administration. There is zero co-ordination between the TPA desk and Front Desk, let alone the fact that the Front Desk personnels are not even well versed or behaved.

National heart institute is a very old and renowned name in Delhi. It is quite big, very well maintained and clean surroundings. The hospital is easily accessible from the main road as well as from the adjacent metro station. Doctors are kind and they take good care of the patients. Almost all kind of latest healthcare facilities is available in this hospital. There is still some pity issue like hospital cafeteria provides food at sub-par standards for the price they charge. Though it looks like a food court inside the mall, still the quality is not up to the mark. Their emergency services are also good. urgent support is provided to almost every such case. Because of its good standard, the cost of treatment is also normal . You might feel that some of the treatments are at a affordable price . The room rent is also medium even for the shared ones. It is all because of its good standard and various facilities.

Doctors are very co-operative they listen to us especially dr. daljit friendly and nice treatment was very good god bless to dr. sharma but food quality and counseling by dietitian is very poor mrs. simarjeet i told her to counsel again but she refused to do so very rudely .

The professionalism and efficiency of the doctors, attendants and staff needs special acknowledgement. I visited there twice during the visiting hours and was guided by the security to the ICU wing.

1. The doctor assigned to us was terrible. He doesn’t know or appreciate that while death is something he sees everyday; it is not something my family is privy too. He seemed to make fuss and explain with his logic how nothing can be done. It is just his attitude and professionalism that I hated.2. The attitude of the staff at reception and the doctors is pathetic. Think ten times before allowing your family to use this facility3. Situated at South of Kailash Colony is a good heart institute for heart patients. Very professional staff and good working atmosphere.

Fraud, This hospital and Dr. Vinay Kumar are fraud. I visited hospital as had a lil faint they took me to ICU and did checkup, than shifted from here to there. I was feeling fine within 1 hour but they dint discharge me after several requests. They only discharged when we were about to call police. For one day and little check up they handed bill of 66000/-. Strongly advise anyone to not visit as staff, account cheats and make u miserable.

Very good experience overall, great doctors and facilities. Do check your bills carefully before paying. Ive got overcharged on two occasions, once by the physio department for five days when they never treated me (Rs 5000/-) and once for two rooms (Rs 10000/-).Charges for almost each item are inflated. For example, a box of gloves that I would get in the market for 250 or 300 rupees was charged 700 rupees or more. Each item has a huge markup. And this adds up a lot for a visit of a week or more.

The hospital has great facilities, they have advanced healtcare systems and experienced doctors team.

National Heart Institute has great entership programmes and had great teaching facilities very good staff having great knowledge intheir respective field. Doctors are very experienced and caring staff.

My mother is oncology patient, Esi refered me to NHI.and as per name i thought its good for cancer treatment,but when i visited this place i feel its not up to the mark because of no care and all there is no fix time for doctors visit.i m waiting till morning 10 am to till 12:30pm but there is nothing.i m listing only coming coming.

Hi Today I visit to the hospital for regularcheckup. Then I went for prothrombin test in the hospital lab, there’s a(phlebotomists)who took the blood sample, then i asked him in how much time I will get my report.He rudely and angrily ask me:“Kya tum first time aaye ho is hospital mein, government hospitals mein jaaoke Dekho vaha kitna time lgta h reports k liye, jao yaha se jab report aa jayegi tab main bula loonga..”Take some action on him I found he’s behaviour very rude and angry and some patients who’s waiting outside they also said that he has no manners how to talk to a patient or person..

Was hospitalised for endoscopy and blood transfusion due to aneamic during pregnancy, few things I didn’t like that they did unnecessary test like ecg, and food was horrible, my bill was around 79k just to do a small treatment.

Visited as an OPD patient recently, consulted a senior cardiologist & also had some path tests done. Good experience as a hospital, good path facilities, overall a very reputed hospital. i suggest that since senior doctors are always busy, junior doctors, dieticians, etc, should take more time on seniors behalf to counsel patient about life style habits, diet, exercises, etc. The patients will feel more confident if this is followed.

I dont have OPD experience of this hospital but Dr Yadava of the hospital is very good heart surgeon of India. For surgery one must prefer Dr Yadava over Medanta. He gives personal touch and perform only one open heart surgery in a day.One more positive thing about this hospital is that it provides budget package to the patients if they cant afford single or shared room. In this category the hospital keeps the patients in general ward which is equipped like ICU. I got one of my blood relative operated few years back and recovery of also good.

Overall Ridiculous. Staff is very rude except the pantry and room service people. Specially these women always behave very rough & rude, one is that obese woman at Billing TPA department and the other one is a girl at admissions reception. They are mentally disturbed and frustrated by work pressure or they know better, thus get furious at customers.

I have, in the recent past, had to visit many medical facilities in Delhi NCR. NHI has one of the best support nursing and housekeeping staff around. Everyone knows their job and are firm about it.I believe healthcare is more in the hand of support staff who spend more time with patient. Of course Doctors take care of critical things for the patients. Things can go awry if patient is not kept under tight watch, which is mostly not the case in most hospitals. NHI was exceptional, in that sense.My conversations with fellow attendants around reinforced my belief. As per word of mouth in common areas, critical patients were provided excellent, responsive, timely care through dedicated crew at the hospital. Two such attendants I met mentioned surgeries that went on for 26 hours, and the patients recovering after family members had no hope.The security guards, whom even I had an argument, were going by the book. I was trying to meet patient of mine who suffered a heart attack an hour ago, and they were trying to restrain me.The rooms were cleaner than any hospital and so were attached bath/toilet.The charges were at par with Apollo or any other Premium Healthcare facility, but the experience was far satisfying.

Very bad all are chor, as my father has a chest pain on the right sidethey admit my father and told us that he had a heart attack but wo nahi tha. They gave him wrong treatment and prepared a huge amount bill. I cant understand that which kind of doctors team they hired.
