The local market near Khanpur depot is not so much of a happening place owing to the place where is it situated. The market has a few mobile stores along with hardware shops and a very few general stores. It also has a mother dairy whose counter area is fenced because of the insecurity of the area as it has been reported that people loot the dairy person. The road is mostly crowded with traffic and is very dusty. The RPS colony behind the complex is full of illegally constructed houses which have been housing people for years. There are no non veg eating outlets in this area nor will you find a good restaurant to have a good and healthy food. It is suited for being milk, hardware, electronic goods and medicines.
