Historic hotel situated in a beautiful area. The staff was very friendly, the room towards the street side was very large and beautiful with a marble bathroom. They have an excellent private art collection hanging throughout the hotel. Check out their legendary Dhaba restaurant for an authentic Indian cuisine experience. But also their Chinese restaurant is very good. Definitely recommend.

Poor service, they are really not serious about service, takes too long to deliver services which are included, and the most shoking part is things which are ordered with money comes fast, but general services like housekeeping and even for giving water they take hours, have to call up not less than 5-6 times to get basic things. Really miserable

The staff just treat VIP or VVIP in a good way they are not understanding at all they are carefree. Like we have an appointment and we had said of pre-check-in but they didnt allow us and we have to change in the restroom. Then my daddy order paratha but they didnt serve it in breakfast and then they later told us the staff is too busy and then delivered it to the room. The hallway of the 3rd floor is leakage and they have us room there.Unfortunately, not very good experience.

The room is worst to stay. Bathroom sink got choked the moment we entered. Room balcony is not cleaned since ages. I asked for an extra large bed but they gave me a queen sized one. Power got struck more than three times and at two instances i was in the lift. BEWARE.I wont recommend anyone to stay here.Zero (0) star rating.

I can highly recommend this hotel for Delhi, because its located in a area with a lot of green, its secure because its in an area where you have ambassadies and governmental offices. Its very silent too, because nearly noone lives around it. Additionaly all the roads around are surrounded by a lot of trees. Its a great area.Ambesh Tripathi as concierge manager helped me in a lot of ways. I got a room change because I smoke and I wished a room with balcony. He is a respectable men with manners and empathy.I had a great driver Surendra Kumar and spent 2 days in Delhi and a 1 day trip to Taj Mahal. He drives excellent even in really critical situations and has perfect manners. Yes its more expansive to book a tour from the hotel, but to be honest: I had one of the best cars, for me the best driver and an amazing guide with style, respect and really a lot knowledge about the taj Mahal. My guide was a middle age men that has studied middle age Indian history, and you saw that he as well as the driver are different to the other ones. And the most important thing: I could trust them both, they never tried to force me to anything and selling tricks. The food i ate at the Indian restaurant was excellent. Breakfast is great too, good mixture of Indian and wester food, the egg Benedikt with salmon is great and the orange marmalade amazing. I liked the Indian chutneys as well as the food. The pool is nice as well as peaceful. One suggestion I would have, put some ashtrays at the tables an the green infront of the hotel, so guests will not throw the cigarettes at the floor.I had 2 rooms for now, frist one was ok, but 2nd is great. The service gets 6 points 😋

The Claridges is a comfy medium sized hotel in Lutyens Delhi. The closest Metro station is 5 minutes away. The staff is very warm and the hotel has an auction house and an art gallery inside. The rooms are a bit old but still good. It is 4 restaurants, a bar and a big pool. The big garden outside is a lovely place to have coffee in the winter evenings.

Stayed there two nights. Overall room was good but the first night we stayed there was suddenly a huge crowd of people in the hallway making a huge amount of noise at 3 am. I called down to the front desk. No change. My wife called down twice. No change. She finally went down to the front desk after getting dressed. Finally at about 4 am they went to bed. Worst night in a hotel in my life. No apology for the hotel.

I visited Sevilla restaurant over here. Sevilla is a wonderful place to dine out. The ambience is superb and the food is also good. It has both indoor and outdoor seating.I ordered minestrone soup, funghi pasta and formaggio pizza. Food was excellent especially the pasta,Minestrone soup was just passable. Service on the other hand is a little bit slow over here. But food was worth the wait.

Claridges still maintains its old world charm. Located in the heart of Delhi, it has an ambience and feel of Lutyens Delhi. Very good and comfortable for stay, dinning out or pubbing in the evenings (Dhabha for Indian Food and Sayville for Spanish are highly recommended) and also for hosting indoor/outdoor parties 9The lawn outside is so good for winter afternoon dos). The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The staff is well behaved and efficient. Highly recommended for travellers and old city slickers. Go an have a feel of it.

The Claridges Hotel is one of the oldest hotel in Delhi. It is situated in Rajesh Pilot Marg. Rajesh Pilot Marg has recently been renamed to Dr A P J Abdul Kalam Marg. Its a Heritage Building and the originality is still being maintained. Though this Claridges Hotel is not that big as compared to other hptels in Delhi, yet the hospitality and the discipline of the staff is far better than others. There is a restaurant inside the hotel which serves authentic taste. This is a beautiful charming hotel but we wont be back. I paid for two superior rooms for my mum+sister and for my daughter+son yet one of the rooms was a lot smaller than the other with a small window with totally frosted out windows. It was hard to explain to my mum and sister why they had this pokey room while the kids had a lovely large room (and I paid the same amount for both). They did offer to move my mum+sister to another room on the next floor up, but my mother is quite frail and after the flight into Delhi I did not want to stress her out with another move. The WHOLE POINT of staying at a nice hotel is to not have to face such issues in the first place. We also had to endure a power cut in our kids room. The booking I had made for the family to celebrate Christmas Eve at their Dhaba restaurant was actually marked down for the 26th of December (but they fixed that quickly). Sadly, although the food was pretty decent at the Dhaba restaurant we all good food poisoned with four out of six of us throwing up in the middle of the night. This was the first time any of us had got sick after a week of eating at real roadside Dhabas in the Punjab.
