The ambience of restaurant was good. The service is quite low but the food was tasty. So its worth to wait for few more extra minutes. Apart from this the staff was good. You actually have to follow the google map to reach there because the restaurant is inside the blocks. But good location. So all Im trying to tell you guys just dont think and go have some tasty meal with your family and friends.

Waiters too busy serving u to ensure u dont sit and enjoy. Good for eating and bad place for meeting as u will be disturbed time and again. Not like your average cafe coffee day.. this place has no tea, coffee options.. only liquid u can have is soft drinks.. food is good.. no doubts on that.. but if eating is only on the mind then this might be the place..

Earlier it use to be really good... Food taste good, ambience , hospitality of staff , lightning but now every thing seems dull and tast of food the main attraction of kalpana restaurant is missing... and lost in kalpana. Hope to see this place lively again with people enjoying as it use to be couple of years back. Will revisit and update if found anything credible.

A simple restuarant with sub par food situated in the lane cramped between Janpath and Kasturba Gandhi Marg. Not really meant for families. Its generally visited by people who work near this place but its not cheap enough to attract daily customers.

Food quality is ok but when ever I have taken my lunch at kalpana my whole body got tried and feels like sleepy, take too much time to digest, it feels like very heavy no matter if I had taken only two chapati. So I will not recommend any body. The rest of the day spoils after lunch.

Awesome food. Daal Makhani is very tasty. I ordered Egg Thali Rs.179 including tax. Egg Curry, Egg Korma (gravy is different), 2 nice paranthas (not so fried, good for all), Simple soft rice, Daal Makhani, Onion Salad, Gulab Jamun. Wonderful preparation.
