I went for drinks so dont know anything about the food. But this was the only place on a Saturday afternoon that didnt have an hour long wait list so good for me. The drinks were pretty good. The bartender was nice and rustled up a drink which was not on the meagre drink menu and it was delicious.

Anglow is taking all possible measures to fight against Covid19. They have mandatory temperature checks on entrance, regular sanitation and they are also maintaining social distancing. The tables are arranged in a manner which ensures a reasonable distance from other customers. They also have the cutlery wrapped in paper and already placed on the tables. The food is great, we had Truffle fries and Mushroom Stroganoff. For drinks we went for Coco Malt and Anglow Spice. Would recommend these for whiskey lovers. The staff is friendly and the dining experience here was very smooth. To have a full meal+drinks experience, its towards the expensive side.

An excellent lounge bar in Delhis Khan Market. There is something very nice and warm about the ambience ... it has an old-world colonial charm about it. They serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks and cocktails. Wide variety of food too, mostly continental, some of the dishes are like those you had in old Army Messes and Clubs. I strongly a visit for lunch or dinner.

AMBIANCE -This is a fine dining, luxurious restaurant that has British sensibility with top notch food quality and amazing ambiance. I had an amazing experience. The table settings are so pretty and aesthetic.FOOD-I ordered -1. Cherry mozzarella, basil & tomato toastAmazing toast with dollops of mozzarella and tangy cherry tomato and basil leaves.2. Spinach and cheese samosasThis is the star of the show for me. The stuffing inside the samosas was so cheesy, it had spinach and corns.3. Cottage cheese and mushroom on hot plateA sizzler with cubes of cottage cheese and mushrooms and potato chips and dips4. Curried potato and veg chopsCutlets with veg and potato stuffing5. Ratatouille chowA plate of assorted veggies cooked spicy and tangy tomato sauce and macaroni.6. Tipsy puddingI loved this pudding, it had sponge cake with fruits, jelly, custard and whipped cream.7. Chocolate puddingThis was so so so good, with crumbs of chocolate and layers of semi dark chocolate and whipped cream. In drinks I tried a Martini and a tangy mocktail. Martini was a little too strong but tangy mocktail was amazing.Everything was up to the mark.SERVICE -They have well trained and highly professional staff. Service was courteous and prompt.

The moment you enter the place first thing catches the eyes are the wonderful interiors.I ordered quite a few dishes which were extremely delicious. Pork sticks wete very well cooked. Platter completely took my heart because i am very fond if it and it was delicious 🤤 the way i wanted. I also tried grilled sandwiches which were scrumptious 😋 .Another thing which makes your experience marvellous is the drinks. Each and every drink is presented so beautifully.Once you enter the place you would not like to leave it soon.

Their ambience is amazing very creative I must say, very tastefully done. But what happened to the time when restaurant were supposed to give good food, instead they give you extremely high priced shoddy portions which taste OK just OK, their dark bungalow chicken curry which a recommendation by the hostess was really bad and their prawns were just decent enough. Their hospitality is good but lack a lot in their food section. Overpriced dishes with just basic taste.

The anglow spice drink was freaking amazing but at the same time the food was unappetizing and below average. The decor was nice with stained glass walls and quirky furniture. The staff well tried their level best but for the place how it is priced the staff needs more training. Food plating was the most horrendous thing Ive seen till date for a platter that costs you 1300 bucks the least expectation is that the food will be presented well and will be something that you will click for your review. Bad plating can be excused if the flavour was fantastic. Zero finesse on food would.prefer to eat at a hawker instead.

This place serves a not so common cuisine Anglo-Indian food is what they specialise in and the food is fancy due to the Aglo influence while you also find all the Indian flavours in some of the Fusion dishes.Drinks:Red Wine Sangria - Served with finely chopped apple cubes on top the wine tasted soo good.Cold Coffee - The go to drink when you are unsure of what to order.Anglow Special - I forgot the name, this drink contained Elderflower essence and was presented wonderfully. My eyes drank the drink before I did, super pretty presentation.Starter:Spinach Cheese Samosa - These were cheesy and the outer layer was soo crispy you could hear the crack when you tear the samosa apart while eating, definately a must have.Deviled Eggs - Boiled eggs served in a Potato covering with a delicious and creamy mustard sauce filling tasted like a riot of flavours in the mouth with the Green chutney that was served on the side.Main CourseRatatouille - This dish was a macaroni pasta in a super spicy red sauce gravy topped with sliced Aubergine one hell of a dish, felt literallylike my mouth was on fire.Dessert:Bread Pudding - A layered bread pudding that had a strong egg flavour and a sweet aftertaste.Creme Brulee - The brulee crack was perfect, this dessert was delicious.Chocolate Pudding - The star dessert of the lunch meal we had here none of us could stop going back for more, excellent!

Cottage cheese mushrooms on a hot plate-It had grilled cottage cheese cubes in beurre blanc sauce, served on a hot plate with assorted mushroms. It was kind of a sizzler and was great in taste!3. Apple Crumbe -It had apples, cinnamon and lime topped with butter crumbs and baked thick biscuit on its top. It was served with custard and had whipped cream topped with a cherry on its side.4. Chocolate pudding -This was a three layered chocolate pudding which had cold dark chocolate pudding crumbs and whipped cream.5. Ginger Smoke -This was a refreshing mocktail which had ginger, honey and nutmeg. It was served under thyme smoke which added the smokey flavour to it!6. Virgin Mary -This mocktail had tomato juice, lime, celery, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce, salt and pepper. It was very refreshing and had great taste!7. On my recent visit to khan market, we tried this restaurant for their Anglo indian receipe. Before I talk about food, the first thing I would like to highlight is that The place has comfortable seating and very courteous staff .We tried their cheese and spinach samosa which is basically cheese spinach and corn stuffed inside flour sheets, formed in a triangular shape and fried, it wasnt a samosa but very near to it and yes delicious.Second up was grilled coriander paneer tikka served with mint chutney , another variation of tandoori to grill paneer tikka with strong coriander flavour but eventually good. For the mains we tried their take on ratatouille chow which was basically spicy macaroni , please check with the server the dish is spicy and consult for your spice level. For the drinks we had their cold coffee which could have better because it was being prepared with CCD espresso shots and milk so we felt the receipe could have been betterFor the desserts we had their tipsy cake which was layered sponge cake ,custard and strawberry jelly topped with chopped fruits and whipped cream and bread pudding which is bread dipped and softened in milk along with orange marmalade and baked .Overall we had a good experience.

This place is just Wow!!! Visited here recently with a bunch of friends. We loved this place as soon as we entered there. The ambiance and interior of the place is inspired by Anglow Indian theme and its elegant & beautiful. We tried a few items from the menu here:For starters we had- Konkani fried chicken, Frikkadels Shammi kebab, Wine prawns on hot plate, Assorted cheese platter, and Assorted vegetarian platter. Fried chicken was yum. Shammi kebabs were having a little fusion touch, could be tried. Assorted cheese platter is something new to have. As a whole starters were really light and appetizing. For main course we ordered- Captain Chicken Curry and Railway Mutton Curry. Chicken curry was served with Malabar paratha and Mutton curry with rice. Both are equally delish and a must try item here. For desserts we tried- Tipsy pudding and Date & Walnut cake with heavy cream. Both were good in taste. But pudding was better. For drinks- Tango and Spiced Mango. I just loved Tango, its a must have. Spiced Mango is also good if you want to try a spicy fusion.Apart from good food, service and hospitality they provide is amazing and appreciable.Would love to go back again.

Are we on the same page yet? Or you guys need an explanatory article? Considering parental and government control over internet, let me enlighten you. “Playmates” is a concept very well known through the cult “Playboy Magazine” which features a young, confident, bold, ahead of her times women celebrating her body with men around for a month attracting, teaching them some facts about fashion, political scenario and attributes making them more desirable. But besides being lustfully attractive, their main agenda is to keep you involved with undivided attention in matters that’ll help you evolve, and you’ll soon realise that a playmate could be anyone, anything.Recently on the celebratory Mothers Day, i was lucky enough to meet my playmate, Anglow Kitchen and Bar. Embodying the spirit of British Raj for its sentimental patrons who still reminisce about those glorious days of co-existing culture, Anglow pays a tribute to the Khansama’s which instead lays the foundation for anglo-indian cuisine here. Inspired by the grandeur of our colonial heritage, they bring us stunning flavours of indian and english cuisine with ambience to die for, papered walls and elaborate sofas. And because I stumbled upon them on a Mothers Day Brunch, i had couple of their breakfast offerings. From south indian conceived egg bhurji with malabar parantha to classic scrambled eggs with truffle oil, Maple Pancakes to new age edible charcoal omelette and Power packed healthy smoothies like Morning Blast, Anglow supported its theory in practicals.Anglow Kitchen, Khan Market

Anglow as the name suggests is a Take on the Anglow indian gastronony which developed during the days of the Raj. Located on the first and second floor in the back lanes of the Khan market the place has been elegantly done to represent a English bar with comfort sitting and the walls have been co weed with old ceramic English Cuttlery to give a British era feel. Coming to food the chefs have made an earnest effort to bring the heritage of the days bygone on the plate by offering some authentic and few fusion dishes and has been successful to some extend. The amuse bouche served contained Fried okra and Cheese sckewers with a yogurt dip. In the strters tried the non veg platter consisting of Shami kebebs , pork chop , Andhra chicken and Lamb which were all decent. In the mains tried the railway mutton. Urru which was passable. The Creme brulee and Bread pudding was quite good in deserts while the tipsy pudding was passable. Tried two different mocktails which were hain quite decent. Over all a nice decent place

Anglow is one of the newer additions to the beautiful and busy streets of Khan market. While one might probably be here for lunch or dinner I would highly recommend their breakfast menu. Not into breakfast too much myself but boy oh boy it was delightful! And Ive definitely found a good breakfast spot to come back too.Their Black Jack omlette has definitely become my favourite because nothing feels better than running your knife through a soft and flaky omlette filled with cream cheese mushrooms and grilled chicken, YUM!!Their waffles are picture perfect and the whip cream and the fruits they serve with it go really well together. We also got their Healthy Oat upma which was so so good presentation wise and taste wise as well. Also If you happen to like masala toasts and sour delicacies you would want to try out their masala poached eggs as well which are more towards the sour side.Quite a fan of their drinks! Especially the Himalayan rejuvenation and the morning blastoff ( must try )You can also try out their juices which are quite refreshing as well. The only thing I didnt like here were their Bacon devilled eggs, they were stir fried but felt a little chewy. But everything else was top notch!!Overall you cant really go wrong with their breakfast menu, really nice, good food, good variety and something for everyone !!Give it a shot, I hope youll like it as well just like i did :)

Its a newly opened Anglo Indian food and Whisky Bar, located in Khan Market, near Charter House. The ambience and the decor is very colonial and old world. It has a living room concept with limited seating capacity. The decor is vintage European. The food is a mix though. While they do have a few true to Anglo-Indian culture dishes on the menu, they also have a lot of pizzas, bruschettas and Indian appetisers to choose from. If youre looking for Instagram-worthy pictures, the lighting isnt ideal. But you can use filters and turn up the brightness later in your edits. Worth hanging out while youre in Khan Market.

However if you consume alcohol, definitely try out their whiskey based cocktails, for which Ive heard lots of great things. The Cheese & Spinach samosas had the filling wrapped up in filo pastry and fried - absolutely delectable and great for a quick bite. For main course I settled for a shepherd pie.For desserts, the tipsy pudding & creme brulee were fantastic options. The impressive bar display too made my hopes high.I wanted to try a non Jacobs creek wine, and went ahead and chose from their list of 10 others to find that i had to settle for the very same one that I didnt want to as all the rest were unavailable. Proceeding to the starters, again, the ones we ordered wasnt available, so we had to settle for something else. The peanuts were great and so were the devils eggs, but the fish and the chicken skewers were passable. Now coming to our bill, they goofed up and added items that we never ordered!!! It was then that carefully cross checked and asked them to revise it and bring it again. It was getting late else I would have definitely had a chat with the management that night.

FOOD : 7/10The food was pretty good till I was served my main course, the Railway Mutton Curry (recommended by the waiter). The mutton was tough and nothing special in terms of flavour. The other two dishes we ordered were the Konkani Fried Chicken and the Black Chicken bites, which were good and one must try them!AMBIENCE : 9/10The place has an old school rustic vibe to it and the music being played suits the place. All tables were placed at a comfortable distance from each other and ensured enough privacy for each table.SERVICE : 6/10The Mutton Curry I had ordered was cold and I had told the waiter to send it back to the chef, the dish was served once again and the waiter convincingly told me that they had made a new one but that wasnt the case since I could see the bite I had taken from the mutton before sending it.The manager came to our table after the meal and I told him about my experience and he took our feedback seriously and also gave us a complimentary dessert, which was a sweet gesture.

Subtle yet bright elegance. Visited the place with friends and family, of which three were teenagers. Will cover my views under four broad categories1: service. This was major yes for all of us. Very prompt, great hospitality .2: ambience: the seating and the decor is a mix of interestingly but tastefully put together fabric and furniture that added subtle vibrancy to the decor.3. Food. Great variety, the youngsters really enjoyed the black chicken. Highly recommend it myself. The ratatouille and another veg ( brinjal based) was very well prepared.4. Drinks: Sangria. Good.beer: This is where i felt let down. Variety of beer was not as per the menu. Limited options at best. Then the beer we started drinking ran out of stock in the second round.General:Price: Vs quality.. justified.Vs portion size..well Ive eaten smaller for more. For the 7 of us, the bill was around 10000 without dessert and just a round of drinks.Advice: take a Zomato gold, or a dine out deal. Will save about 15-20 percentage.I recommend this place for sure.

Anglow at Khan Market is one of the best places to enjoy food, music, and ambience in one go. I could see people coming in any group sizes. All were having the best of their times was clearly visible. Solo, couples, families, friends, etc. Music is in the air here. Hospitality is in the blood here. Young staff is completely professional in service. No glitches, no shortfalls. I could see a lot of expats walking in and taking a table solo out in a group to have done drinks and enjoy genuine Anglo environment. Coming to food now. Every guest is welcomed with Crispy Okra that is complimentary and a very good start. I opened Konkani Fried Chicken that had a lot of Peanuts, onions, curry leaves, and chicken of course. All fried in an authentic Konkani style to the best of their taste. Then I ordered Cottage Cheese and Mushrooms on Hot Plate that is sizzler with a difference. It has Soft big square chunks of Cheese and Enough veggies to add tempting flavor to it. In the Main Course, I had Sheppherds Vegetable Pie. It has Baked potato pie, minced veggies, rocket leaves, and other leafy stuff with crispy lotus stem chip and dip. Its a wonderful dish. Every dish, in fact, has its unique flavor and taste. Finally, in the Desserts I decided to have 🍞 Bread and Marmalade Pudding that I feel is similar to Shahi Tukda prepared in Anglo style. Fabulous taste. Best of the times spent here. Before leaving, I had a Cappuccino Coffee.

Of the four dishes we ordered, two (chicken liver pate with lavash, and charred pork sausages) were delicious; one (pork bags) was a bit of a fail, and one (chicken dak bungalow curry) was all right, not great but not terrible either. The place has delightfully old-fashioned decor, and service was pretty good. Alright so the other day i went for dinner to this newly place opened in Khan Market Delhi- Anglow..after reading all good reviews about it on @zomatoin .To be honest i did not quite like the place because it doesnt serve good food at all.Interiors and Music were the only thing which kept me entertained throughout but the food was a total disappointment !!Review on What i ordered:1. Spiced MangoThis was a complete fail as Tabasco was overpowering the freshness of Mango. Dont try this drink here at all !.2. Veg. PantrasThis dish lacked flavours as the Pantras were very soft and it missed that crunch and edgy flavour. It was served with salsa sauce which couldnt uplift the dish either.Dont try this dish either ! .3. Cottage cheese Railway Curry with Malabar ParanthaFinally i got to have something nice that night which made my tum tum happy 😃. This was desi paneer ki sabzi with lots of smoky flavour and extra smooth curry. Paranthas were soft and buttery and real pleasure to eat. .4. Banana Bavarois in Toffee sauce:This dessert was okayish and nothing like wow ! The cream above was loose and soft. Filling inside was a bit extra sweet. Initial 5-6 bites were nice but after that i just left it. This can be a skip ! .5. Baked Bun with spiced butter(complimentary welcome):So this they gave as complimentary welcome and it was fine. Buns were perfectly baked and butter was mixed with green chilli and spices. So it gave me hope of good food following my order🤣 which was a complete disaster! . .Interiors: I would give 10/10 for beautiful British interiors which takes you to that era and music compliments the place with that novel corner beautifully binded✌🏻 . .Food: 5/10 Based on above dishes !.#goboundlesswithayushi #vegetarian #foodgawker #foodgasm #foodporn #foodphotography #foodphoto #lifestyle #dinner #foodtalkindia #foodtalkdelhi #foodnetwork #foodbloggers #food #foodblogger #foodblog #foodreviews #delicious #onthetable #foodie #iwillgoanywhereforfood #anglow #khanmarket

The ambience good tho it would have been nice to give it a more colonial look.Service is excellent !!!!Though they need to get the recipes right as the pork vindaloo did not taste anything like the anglo-indian style vindaloo even the devils eggs but the presentation was good.
