REASONABLE PRICE WITH QUALITY FOOD AND GOOD SERVICE
If you want to have authentic South Indian food then this is the place in Delhi...have been going there for many years now...Only word to describe is Super Delicious Food and fast service... Highly recommended
Amazing food at a very reasonable price. Do try their kokam soda, Im sure youll love it.Amazing for Breakfast and dinners
Amazing foodFast service, you will feel real south Indian taste at reasonable price . Loved the place .
Great food.Great service, good staff. Hygienic place. Best south indian food in Delhi.
We visited last week after seeing you tube video about the place but largely disappointed. The AC ducts opening were dusty. It seems not cleaned for years. Order taking person was not courteous. The uttapam served was burnt from top. Masala Dosa was paper thin and crumbled after taking first bite. Ragi Dosa and coffee was good. Overall experience was just okay.
Hustling and bustling kannada community center... Has this very nice karnataka food restaurant
Clock work precision is USP of this eatery. You will find customers from all socio-economic background, who come here magnetized due to authentic South Indian taste.
If you wanna give a South-Indian punch to your appetite, then this place is THE BEST!Whatever you order is bound to satisfy that craving for amazing south indian!Absolute things to try-1. Masala Dosa2. Vada Sambar3. ChaiDont forget, whatever you eat, always finish with their CHAI. Absolute love!
Tantastic. Tasty+ Fantastic. I have been visiting this restuarant more than a decade and have never been returned unsatisfied. All the dosas and uttapamm are delicious. But theirs speciality lies in their sambhar, coconut and tomato chutney. My mouth is watering will writing this. Definitely visit it . Its totally totally worth it. Its near sir.m. vishweria moti bagh metro station, inside Karnataka Bank.At my suggestion do try these:- Mysore masala, panchtantra (my fav),rava paneer, maharaja sajie dosa, Kesari halwa. All of them is 5/5 . Do check my photos ,you get to know by yourself.
Tasty food in best price. Love the place
If you are looking for good South indian food then this place is for you. If you are a South indian then you will find this place little bit expensive 😃
Too good yummy food but too much waiting time.
This place is a legend. Have been going here since college days, the days of having hot Masala Dosa and filter coffee are still fresh in our memories. Taste is still the same and the prices too have just marginally increased, which is totally acceptable. Moderately crowded most of the week and slightly more crowded on weekends, so expect some waiting time. Their crowd management is good. The menu is very simple and typically what you would find at South Indian restaurants. Service is super quick and food is served hot and fresh. It was a wonderful experience to go back to memory lanes and relive the college days. I will highly recommend this place for a wholesome South Indian meal experience.
Right at moti bagh chowk on ring road in south delhi on Rao tularam marg. Most famous place for all kannada functions. Latest auditorium facility and lodging also available very cheap with ac. Art gallery on ground floor with Bhimarao Murgod painting exhibition. Most famous and authentic south indian food on the ground floor restaurant.
One of the place to get a south indian Food
There sarve very tasty 😋 South Indian food i like it 😊😊😊😊
Evergreen on top. If someone has to learn taste and Hospitalilty go there. Rest all is bakwas
Good place for South Indian food. However often crowded in the weekend and one needs to wait 30-40 mins. Otherwise decently priced with good and authentic taste.
Very good food quality but only problem is they do not accept card payment
I went for lunch on working day at 1:15 pm. Restaurant was crowded as always. Ordered Thali (forgot the name but price was Rs 195). All the menu is for vegetarian and there is no non-vege menu. You are allowed to take as much curries, rice and puri as you want with the price. Service is very quick although some staffs are not so friendly.
Dont know whether it is used for any official meetings but yes it can be hired for few hours for informal gathering of 40 to 60 people. They provide catering service which is offcourse South Indian. The employees or helpers are polite. The place is not far from metro station (pink line) hardly 100 m. On the ground floor there is a Karnataka restaurant as well.
Good Authentic Karnataka Food @ Besttt
Complete trip to this place is somewhere between 1-3 hours if you are with someone/friends.You have to visit personally. Without magazine issuance you cant be in touch for long. Very less activities takes place here. I wish for more cultural activities.Matt nearby is good for offering prayers as its hassle-free. However, you need to book for any special requests for prayers (with nominal fees).Parking is a huge issue here and I personally prefer metro now as its just 2 minutes walk from Sir Visweshwaraiya Moti Bagh Metro station.Theres no online booking available. Restaurant is always with a long queue so be prepared for atleast an hour waiting, if you want to spend time here. I love the authenticity of Karnataka so I dont feel these hurdles as an issue yet. Shared my perception just for the information!
Stay here if u r grp of 8-10 and its a moderate one.And about the food yes u do get south Indian dishesWhich I felt are ok ok
Always warm and welcoming, The Karnataka cafe is so popular with families there is a long waiting every weekend at meal times. Prompt service and reasonable prices make it irresistible as a daily haunt with traditional dosa, idli, uttapam and thali with unlimited refills of sambhar chutney. It’s also up to the exacting standards of hygiene in upscale South Delhi. Bring your tourist friends and any returning entrepreneurs here.
I have been visiting Karnataka Sangha for last three years and recently visited the restaurant after covid-19 pandemic. They have maintained their taste and variety of the South Indian food specially dosa and idli. Food is likable and you wont regret being here in case you love South Indian food. They use spices and raw materials from South and hence maintain the original fragrance and taste. Only thing they have not improved over the years is the paucity of space and overcrowding which we find difficult to adjust in view of the COVID19. At times you have to share the already cramped up table with others and hence the personal touch during meals is lost hence 4 star.
A nice place to enjoy authentic kannad south indian food with family. The place is located near the RTR and Moti Bagh crossing inside the Karnataka Sangha building complex near the Indian Oil Petrol Pump. The food quality is ready good and the service is really fast. They do not have much space hence there is waiting upto 20 minutes during lunch hours on working days as well as on holidays and weekends. However the wait is worth it since the food is really tasty. The staff is polite and mind their business. One should also try the sweet paan after meals.
Best place for appata Kannadigas..It is an Sangha (association) of Kannadigas staying in Delhi. The real culture of Karnataka can be experienced being in the national capital. If you are a kannadiga visiting Delhi for some official purpose or tour you can get accomodation in this place.
This is definitely a good restaurant to devour South Indian food in.This is a place to try out different south Indian food. There are variety of idlis, vadas, Dosas and many more.. . Chutneys are really yumm!! You will relish every bite of it! Moderately priced, this place has a good ambiance and good service
Good south indian tiffins, friendly staff, good hygiene. Will i go there again, definitely yes !
Very very nice place to have authentic madrasi food. Lovely filter coffee ☕Just ask them to make it strong
Amazing ambience with authentic south indian food 😍👍🏻
A good place for dining out with family. Located at the moti bagh intersection in the Karnataka Sangha building complex. The food is really good. Usually there is a waiting time during lunch time on working days and also on weekends or holidays, but the wait time is worth it. Service is really fast and the food quality is really good. The paan served there is also worth trying.
This place was good and clean ingenious
This resturant is situated on Rav Tula Ram road just near inner ring of central delhi. If you enjoy delicious south indian foods, this place is an ideal place to visit. Its popularity so huge that at any given time you may have to wait for seats vacated, but dnt worry; do visit and have a taste of foods.
Nice place...good food...must visit...but you have to wait
Awesome ghee roast dosa
Best south Indian and great services
If u are really hungry, you can go here and have a bite. Otherwise the place in not for food lovers. Rate here are little bit higher and the quality of food is hardly good. Believe me I live within 500m of this area and in 2 years of me living here I have only tried once this resturant.
Best south indian food in delhi
The place was crowdy no precautions wat so ever were taken for Covid 19 like sanitizers, temperature check, social distancing, waiters after repeated request were not serving anything in a proper timely manner. I ordered Coconut Rawa masala dosa in which masala made from potatoes was nt having taste n salt. Coconut in it was very hard to chew. Rest of the things like Sambhar was not at al tasty n full of salt in it. Visit to this place was not worthed. Really had a bad experience. Plz I recommend u not to visit this place if ur a good food eater
Loved this place. Quite authentic food and yummy delicacies. Social distancing maintained very well.
Original taste. Reasonable menu. This place is a must visit for all the South Indian food lovers. There are special menus on daily basis and you can also avail packaging. The place is quite famous and you are most likely to find people waiting for their turns to get a table. Also the ambience is very homely. Not an expensive looking place.
A nice place to enjoy south Indian delicacies, really appreciate its location. I enjoy breakfast here after jogging at Lodhi gardens
It is amazing sout indian restaurant. Last 15 years me and my family members visit the restaurant.
Quality foodFast serviceBut now they have limited the quantity in thali
Best dosa in Delhi. Sambar and rasam are extra ordinary. If you are north indian trying south Indian food for first time this is the place to go. It has a very good Professional staff and are committed to quality. Can take your gf for a dinner date here
Good taste. Excellent service. Nice people. Most important cleanliness and safety.
Nice food nice place but its expensive and they dont accept card they only accept cash
Perfect place if you want to have a taste and ambiance of South Indian.
Charming place for authenyic South Indian Treats, must try
No doubt, south Indian food is very authentic here. But the seating capacity is quite less as waiting time is sometimes quite long. The main problem here is of space only. Its bit congested.
My holy grail for South Indian food in delhi NCR
Very delicious food...also the Shop has the yummiest and authentic Mysore pak.
Nice South Indian restaurant. Service was promt n the seating arrangement was good. Overall goid experience!!
Good food with nominal price as per location. Restaurant is behind the bank
We stayed here for 4days for a vacation with family. All the 4 days breakfast and dinner was done here. Though a bit expensive for the taste provided but the only best option for Karnataka food. Rooms were decent, clean and most important in budget. Great locality. Special thanks to Deviah for helping us arrange a good taxi service for roaming in Delhi. Should be booked in advance by calling them.
Other than being a decent hygenic place to sit snd eat, taste is not up to the mark for any item on the menu.
A reasonably priced kannada canteen serving excellent food. Have been visiting it for along time. The seating is average.
Aptly, value for money. If youre in Delhi and craving South Indian food, must try this pocket friendly South Indian place. Accomodate around 30-40 at a time with Lightening Fast Service and foreign crowd often, as well. Ill definitely be making round trips, soon.
A very good restaurant if you have a taste for South Indian food! Really loved it! Staffs are also very well behaved! However it gets quite crowded during the evenings.. So better hurry up!
Try their Mysore Dosa and Hot Coffee
Neatly maintained. Parking and other facilities available. Temperature check and sanitisation done as well. Great service and social distance maintained. Food is tasty and fast service. Cleansing been taken good care of. The packed materials were fresh, tast and exquisitely packed. The best part is food and cleanliness. Must visit with family and friends as well. Long tables available for bigger families. Best of south Indian food served. Served fresh and hot. Service is prompt, neat and professional. The staff has also maintained the highest possible safety, especially with corona trouble as its important to keep safety which Karnataka Bhawan looks very peculiar about. Loved the visit and plan to visit again and again.... For the love of Dosa, Vada, Uppit, Mysore Masala and the best filter coffee.....
This is a fine place to eat South Indian food. Its comfortable, sharing the table seating. Quick service and not at all expensive
Excellent and Authentic food
Very good community centre for kannadigaas...The management is maintaining good protocol...
There is a restaurant namedKarnataka Food Centre which is very very hygienic, economical and clean.I myself is visiting this place from past 26 years, i.e., from 1994.Its interior changed from time to time but not the food and its incomparable quality. Its totally South Indian place. It also have an ATM of Karnatak bank and a shop of South Indian sarees and dresses.
THE PLACE FOR RASAM AND A SOUTH INDIAN BRUNCH!!!
Karnataka Sangha is the place to head to if you crave authentic South Indian cuisine in Delhi. We discovered it recently and have hence visited it on two consecutive weekends!Yummy dosas, idlis, vadas and even the thali is good. Thoroughly recommended.
The name itself is Canteen. So please do not expect any great ambiance or fine dine. But if you want authentic South Indian dishes.... you are at right place. Even at 10.00PM on week days there is waiting of 20 minutes. Reasonable spices and reasonable rates. Filter coffee is something exceptional. They may even say finished for the day. Enjoy
The service & food both are good.
The best place to relish authentic south indian food. Quick service, fresh food. Masala dosa, filter coffee and paan is a must have 👍🏻
Nice place and good south indian food.
The food is the biggest reason to be here... But apart from that, the place is so pleasing to your eyes. Amid a garden-like place, the restaurant is a great place to get photos clicked too. Very soothing. Also, the restaurant is very hygienic.
