Great place for books and stationary. For my office and for my kid school, all requirements. Plus their general fiction, non fiction book section is right for my budget. Not very expensive nor cheap. They hav recently added toys and cosmetics on ground floor. It also looked very appealing. Visiting this shop for past 10 years and have really expanded with the time.

We purchased 1 toy car which is quite expensive and it was faulty in the box itself and it has not worked even single time after purchase. It is only making noise of wheels but no wheels we’re moving. They have told us That there is no issue and company packed and no need to test. It did not work at all and when we called up the seller, he is so rude to answer any query and denied to give replacement. Why there is no guarantee when it is faulty by default. Writing no guarantee and no refund on bill can not protect you from doing fraud with customers. We have bill and This will surely go to consumer court. Such a shame.

Good variety of books, stationary, toys and other miscellaneous items. You can often find good deals on stationary and book items, but the toys and games are priced a tad bit higher than some other stores in Lajpat Nagar

We purchased toy for kids and it is not working from day one. Shop keeper denied to replace. We did not use it at all. It was faulty and we lost our expensive toy. Not recommended

Lajpat nagar central market is full of fraud sellers especially who are selling so called Chinese items like Rama book depot is doing. They sell expensive Chinese toys and when you ask them for a single issue in item, they simply deny that there is no guarantee of any item when sold. why dont you allow buyer to test a toy before they purchase the same. they say that there is no issue and they all are working and when you go and try them at home they are faulty, they dont work and seller takes no responsibility at all. You are eating someone hard earned money on the name of chinese item. we recommend not to purchase any toy from them or be ready to lose your money.

Its a good stationary cum book store. Actually i went to buy a toy, i satisfied with the quality & pricing.

All items are actually fake and not branded and so called chinese and they complete deny for any replacement or support once you have purchased. the person who take the call seems not in the mood to talk for any help. very poor seller.

It is just behind of lajpat Nagar-xing bus stop. They have good but expensive stuff. You can find study and decoration related things easily.

Uncultured man at the cash counter at basement. He Misbehaved and was rude with a Senior citizen in front of me. When I confronted that uneducated man snapped at me apne kaam se kaam rakhDisgusting

This review is going to be a long one but i think this incident needs to be read by everyone so i am posting it anyway.my office is in lajpat nagar so i often go to this stationary shop for basic stationary. However yesterday was the first time i interacted with the man sitting at the billing counter in basement.The person sitting at the basement is one pathetic, ill mannered and an arrogant human being who has no sense as to how to interact with customers.However i would like to share my yesterdays harrowing experience. I have a hobby of painting so i went to buy and restock some of my painting supplies so i went to restock my oil pastels, 10B graphite pencils, and masking tape.Due to the rush at the shop i did not hear the total bill amount so i just kept standing and waiting for the person/owner at the basement to tell me. Within a span of 5 seconds he got irritated and raised his voice at me and said in a derogatory tone aur kuch chahiye to bol nai to bill bhar aur ja.I was shocked for a moment but since the man was of an advanced age i decided not to react. I said uncle suna nai i was asking for something with the boy standing next to you (which i was).He blatantly started saying kya faltu bakwas hai ye ek baar bata dia behri hai kya humare paas bhi 100 customers hain ek tu hi thodi hai tere paas dimag hai ya nahi. I was fuming by then and i replied uncle talk properly and dont you dare your voice at meAnd mind you, he is saying all this while swapping my card for the articles purchased. Moreover, i was overcharged by Rs. 10 which i am not complaining about as it is a human mistake and anyone can make a calculation error. But the arrogance and lack of civic sense in the man sitting at the billing counter really put me off.Now the stationery may be good, but no would like to visit there if theyre being treated like dirt. I rarely come across such uncivilised people but yesterday was an exception. If anyone knows about any other stationery shop at lajpat nagar market please let me know.
