Safdarjung hospital really needs a good makeover. The washrooms are too bad and smelly. Construction is going in openly no coverage and all. People are lying on the floor. Just because it is a govt. Hospital that doesnt mean it should be like this for middle-class people.

The doctors here at Safdarjung are really experienced but the only thing is patients are way too many! So, one needs to have patience while coming here for treatment. Now, the hospital even has the facility to book appointment online, just login into ors appointment website and then you to get a appointment letter printed from the hospital itself. The printing line is not that much! Senior citizens & women line are less rushy.All in all, its a wonderful experience here for the treatment.

Safdarjang is old than aiims. Here all kinds of treatment available. Now ssb building have started. Huge number of patient come daily. Its service is good may best. Here you will meet with very talented doctors. Discipline of this hospital is well. Every day lots of people go happily from here. After great rush, every one become able to cure themself. The star I gave was for the emergency dept./ building. But, as for other building and dept. No star.The hospital has good emergency facilities and buildings..but, the wards are so pathetic. Its the worse place ever in terms of hygiene, services, doctors and nurses (staffs), not enough beds, not enough rooms. People who are admitted basically share their beds. I was looking after a friend who was admitted there he was sharing his bed with another patient. I spend the whole night standing as their was no place to sit nor any place to lean on to. the guards are basically the commandos of the hospital.Verdict : I wouldnt expect anything else given that its a govt. Hospital everyone goes their except rich people.However, it can be better. Lots lots lots lots and lots of improvement needed. My recommendations(if you are going to spend the night looking after someone):1) take a foldable mosquito net.2) foldable chair3) Noise cancelling headset4) Drinking water from home.5) be careful of your stuffs, their are thieves everywhere.

I was in Najafgarh since 20 years and many times I visited at Safdarjung Hospital. My expirience is horrible about views mostly.Infrastructure-The hospital is having a hug place and collage, traning center, & more many things are available in this space only.Hospital is sattled down in lots of space so there was no problamatic situation or reviews about space.Medical Care & Staff Attitude-Medical care is well N good and doctor never dispoint to any paitient and all doctors know their duety and they follow they follow all the required check up and all things veryy properly. Some of medicine will be received at hospital’s free store only but for the most of the medicine you have to move out.Hospital staff is always helpful and treat always in a manner so there is no complaint against their staff attitude or medical care al these things are good.My VIews-I have visited many time to this hospital and the most horrible part of hospital is crowd and really that crowd iritate very hard to all of paitent and due to this hug crowd paitent feel very bad and persnally I always feel bad due to this large crowd . Sometimes Fit and fine person feel like paitent due to this large crowd.

Very egoistic n rude staff.Doctors have no respect towards patients.They didnt provide me a bed after admission, i was on a structure for 4-5 hours. It was around 2am, When my father asked about bed, they literally said take your patient somewhere else.Doctors just want to earn money for doing nothing.Never recommend to anyone.

Hey everyone, if i would share my personal experience, then this would be agreed by many people, that hospital is best for poor and low income families, this gonna take soo much time means if you ll go through very long treatment process and, opd there will be so much crowd, u ll have wait soo long in the que, for your turn, so many people go early like around 4am-5am and they wait till 8:30am then registration form would be filled at counters, then you go to the room number to consult and to be treated by doctor finally and there would be also que..Either if this is not emergency then u must go through online portal and book your appointment first then that process will become easier..If this is an emergency then directly you can go in new building for emergency services.(Here in such hospitals refference matters a lot....)ThanksBe calm and punctual, process could be long but best treatment would be given..thats the reason soo many comes here from outside of Delhi too..May god bless your friends and familys stay away from hospitals.🙏

I had done my appointment one day before.I am new to the city but when I entered into the hospital,I was shocked by looking at the line. Although I have filled every detail in ORS portal,They told me to fill it up again.Which was taking a long time in queue.Then when I went for medicine there was no staff.There I found a frustrated crowd waiting for medicines.Although the timing of the staffs were 9am-2pm ,they went for a tea break at 10:30 for half an hour.I was amazed by looking a Govt Hospital condition at the capital of a nation.

Very bad experience.I visited here during covid situation for non covid treatment, the Dr are good they are knowledgeable but about the facilities and medicine other than common medicine like PCM, DISPRIN ,BP MEDICINE ETC, each and every medicine is proscribed from outside the campus. Its very sad but its true,that patients from EWS cant afford it.

There is no arrangements for the people go there to meet the patients, and even in night time there is no place to stay for the care takers of the patients.

Very poor service and doctors of even emergency were very care less and despite of the biggest medical college and hospital they denied to treat my parents even my patient was in very critical condition. And they direct me to go to out side or take private hospital services. Now my patient is in a private hospital and okk..but Safarjung hospital is total waste and doctors of gynaecology they are useless completely...

This is a huge and famous hospital,but I think the hospital staff should be more calm and aware while injecting new borne.as my sister is born in this hospital and she has the deficiency of vitamin D because of this she have leg pain all the time...so,I think staff should be more aware and calm on these cases..however this is an excellent hospital..

Beware of Dr. at Neurosurgery. They work for 3rd part commissions for test and surgical needs. Even Govt provides them but will compell u to buy from their agents.Once u r trapped u cannot escape else they will threaten u call police and if u r strong enough to fight give u LAMA ( left against medical advice).They have simple calcn pay for wat u pay in private and get treated.

Very disappointed by this hospital services. My sister was admitted there. After 3 days they discharged her Nd told that now u have to take medicine at home only. Few days later we went to the doctor, he said that discharge kyu Kia we showed him the discharge slip. Nd he said that nursing staff was saying that wo ladki bhag gyi now my sisters condition is not good.. how can they show this much carelessness.. they are playing with the health Nd life of patients.. we were very happy after seeing cleanliness of that ward,where my sister was admitted.. but the thing they did, that is not negotiable. Even some nursing staff was too rude there. They do not know how to behave with patient Nd patients family members.but doctor are very polite here Nd understands the situation of patient.. but what is the advantage of this if patients are getting discharged without permission of doctors.

In this pandemic they dont even take care Of mass gathering this is hospital but it is not safe for patient there are queues. hundreds of people standing in the line without any concern of social distancing you are not safe even in hospital like safdarjung. They may take action if you take pictures of their failure. This is what Delhi govt is paid for. Shame of you our system.

I was diagnosed with dka type 1 diabetes and I was not aware with that struggling with mouth ulcer was not able to eat anything admitted in the hospital come to know about diabetes they done brilliant job all the required tests were done. The only thing which can be improved in the hospital was cleaness... Specially in the medicine department. That was only thing which was not up to mark.

One of the best government hospital after AIIMS. Outside of the hospital area is very dirty. All staffs and doctors are well trained and very helpful. Lots of people from other states comes here for treatment.

Today took my father to emergency wing of the hospital as he was facing difficulty swallowing. after two levels of registrations he was asked to go to ward no 17 ENT. The doctor asked him to get an xray which was in another building on ground floor. after spending 1 and half hours of completing all this. he had to again go back to Ward no 17 on III floor about a km away!! this is how the system is treating a 75+ senior person. 2 hours and no treatment yet!!! he thought this was emergency wing!!!! his problems didnt end there as three doctors on duty in the ward were too busy doing paperwork, taking personal calls and avoiding any eye contact with the patients waiting near the door of the doctors chamber. there was no registration staff and no waiting area so my father anxious to get some treatment was screamed at by this doctor who was busy taking calls for not waiting at the door!! some uncultured fellow fit to be in a security company as he is so good at scaring people rather than curing them as a doctor!!! SHAME ON HIM that my father had to return home without any treatment. such a waste of taxpayers money!!

Best hospital in india

I will have to say this, I visited Safdarjung hospital several time and their old emergency building is not worth for patients because its like having a small rooms with hundreds of patients with no proper facility.But recently I visited Safdarjung new emergency building , it has lots of sections, proper bed for patients, totally hygiene, and for new patient , there are lots of help desk that can lead you to the right place.You can visit anytime , you will get proper treatment by professional doctors and they are really polite with patients.Cheers
