Good place for kids ,young people and to senior citizens also... Safe place with army security.. Entries only for army person and their families.. Wide area with lots of parks. Market availability is there.. Means of transportation easily available..but only army person and his family live here.

This is one of the parks in the army campus of new cvd lines ..... It is a green lush park full of different flowers and swings for small children and have side tracks to do joging and running and a perfect place to do yoga and meditation in the morning. It is safe place as it is situated inside army boundries and good place to visit with your families and young children

Good area but not for civilans for military persons only allowed with dependent card only

Place is nice to hang out.there are 2 covered resting area to avoid direct sunlight in extreme temperatures.well lit in night and green all over. Can park your vehicle adjacent to it.

Best place.. A big green park for childrens yet the public gym is available. But the problem is people playing trump card sitting on the grass while eating tobacco they puke on the grass.

Lived here for 5 years.... best accomodation provided to army families in Delhi cantt n CVD lines is one the those best army residential areas where all amenities to the family of army personnel are available be it...park for children.. shopping complex..CSD canteen..MI room...unit temples..guru dwara...proper ligthing facilities...music plays in the evening....its a very quiet n calm place full of greenery n sounds of birds chirping on the trees in jungles..mother dairy is also there..there is one kabristan at the edge of CVD lines...a huge cricket ground is there where young rising cricketers practise n near to it is a dhobi ghat...now name CVD has been changed to VIKRAM BATRA lines..there bus stand made for students n army personnel to wait for there respective vehicles n also for parents who wait for the kids after their schools.living in such area is the best experience.. because a persons gets completely fresh air inside the body...healthy environment n disciplined lifein army areas is just common thing for every army brat like me..we are used to the purity n discipline...CVD lines is very neat n clean area as people contribute towards keeping their area n environment clean n green...at every turn there are 2 big garbage boxes one of blue colour n one in green colour... There are more than 100 quarters in CVD lines...approx 4 parks..good parking space is available to the residents..there are kendriya vidyalayas n army public school nearby ...and Sadar bazar is the nearest shopping hub for the residents of CVD lines.. people who have been here know the value of this place...I have lots of memories with my quarter in CVD lines...

Its a Defence area. There is one Unit Run Canteen. The Exit gate ,towards janakpuri fly over , is closed on Sunday.
