Yeah Mela ground is a big play ground where you can see people enjoying the nature, children play various sports, & etc. It is the only big place near CR park market number 2 where you can see big cultural activities and festivals celebrations.

It was a different experience for me. Lot of people, kot of colours, lot of movement...Lot of devotion, tasty food...

It is one of the posh areas at Delhi where majority population is Bengali and they celebrate their community and religious beliefs together... They celebrate their individual block wise Durga Puja at each and every block and this CR Park mela ground celebrates one of the biggest puja of this area... Puja, stalls, hawkers makes this place very lively...

Awsm ground the statue of lord durga is awsm and the crowd is toooo ...Soo many people comes toh watch...And the line is too long for entry. Ever pandal is closed about 12 oo clock...If uhh have pasd uhh got vip entry...and dance music bangla song cultural dance is going in evening...uh can buy ur meal and eat and enjoy. i enjoyd alot.

One of the most popular durga pooja pandals. We stood in the que for half an hour and the beautiful pandal totally made it up. Lots of places to choose when it comes to eating. The pandal theme was very nice. Enjoyed the music performances a lot.

Its so wonderful place

Good play field, open gym, and cemented walking track around it. Football, the CR Park passion is visible, with game as also training academy training budding youngsters. Felt happy to see young girls slogging hard in training and polishing their football skills. Children were also playing cricket. Shaded areas with benches, toilets, it was a complete play field in true sense.

Needs to be cleaned and maintained regularly by the Area Counsellor along with the Colony RWA. Its in front of my house, so I go there every day. The Cigarette+Cold drink shops outside have to be removed from there. Youngsters bring food in and dirty the Park a lot.the dustbins are broken and have to be replaced. The Open Gym area is good.

The area is huge. Perfect for the serious morning walker! Extensive football field where young aspirants practice assiduously. Exercise equipment for adults are used a lot.

Mela ground is big spacious park with something for everyone. Swings, park gyms, walking paths and segregated spaces for football, it is a park that will always have people from all walks of life breathing some clean-er Delhi air

Its big and spacious with a 400 mtr track but the upkeep is poor. It has an open gym which desperately needs oiling. But authorities need to look into the inflow of outsiders who sit in the park to drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes and other substances. Its not unsafe per se but after a point the park primarily smells of smoke and urine.

Located on the main road of C.R.Park, next to Market No 2. Is now made into an ornamental + childrens park with jogging track.Kids play football and cricket here. Does not have very good seating areas though the park is pretty big.Every year, the park hosts Durga Puja.

It will give you Durga Puja feel but still its not upto the mark. Its one of the best in Delhi tho.

The ambience was made this year with Exp-friendly theme. And It was beautiful yet astonished by the creativity. The Pandaal was almost big as a mansion but the only thing which I faced was, there was no quality food, taste wont come in the category there. People are lynching money from the Visitors. Safety was on point, Army, Delhi Police worked hand in hand. Volunteers by the pooja Committee are boys with no regards to others, so thatbis there as well.

It was way too crowded . But being a foodie liked the place for fish cutlet and fish tikkas

Good place, i visit this palce on the occasion of durga astami. To much crowed are there this led to too much long line to go under the ground. Parking are available and wheelchair are also accessible

Mela ground is one of the famous places in chitranjan park. the ground is so big that the pooja or anything that the ground organise get lost of space and its a wonderful place which can accommodate a good amount of people. Mela ground is also known for its famous Mela ground Durga Puja and the poush Mela which it organise. During Durga Puja apart from the Durga idol, a huge stage isfor cultural programs and a lot of food stalls are available for all kind of food.

Mela Ground in C. R. Park is an interesting place. Round the year many Bengali religious and culture functions are held here which adds festivities and colours to the area habituated mostly by Bengalis.

Good space and shops. Many shops for shopping and good shops also.

I had visited here in this navaratri with my friends. there was a big crowd so we had to stand in a big queue to entry the mela ground. Sculpture of goddess durga was beautiful and pandal was also asesome. Durga puja samiti also conduct song compition and they give award the winners. Citranajan Park market is near by of mela ground so you can also enjoy traditional food of bengal. I think you have must visit on navratri time.

Its a play ground in the chitranjan park (C R park). There is a Durga puja fair from 5th day of navratri to 9th day (oct-nov) every year. That time it is so crowded. You can buy many things in fair and can enjoy bangali cultural shows and cuisine. That time you will feel like be in kolkata. Beside this ground that time you can see various durga pooja pandal in the surrounding in colony area.

First of all , to get to the place you will have to be in a queue for nearly 2 hrs , then the place is just street food and a pandal plus some random dhmction where kids are performing. Not worth it. More better places are there to experience Durga puja.

Its one of the best pujas in delhi but you wont get the kolkata vibe....the event they organize are sometimes very disappointing...and the Durga Prayers(statue) is placed way far away from the visitors,and the food are way too expensive in the foodstalls they place...my advice is go visit all the pujas in crpark if you in delhi or around during Durga puja....and if u wanna eat then stop at market no.1which in walking dostance from mela ground where u can get the taste of kolkata biryani,diff fish chops and fries,mughlai paratha,misthi and much more....

Very big ground where groups of people actually use as foot ball ground that even have walking path at the corner of the ground but at the time of Durga Puja they actually use as puja ground, one of the biggest pandal in cr park located there.

The durga puja is always spectacular here but this time the ambience felt more like that of a shopping mall with brands everywhere. I wanted to tell them it doesnt matter if the puja is small but tye sanctity and the ambience should be maintained.
