A must visit to witness the valour of our airforce. Different fighter planes to watch out for. How fighter planes have evolved is also very hearting to see. Must visit with children, they can witness gloary. Awesome museum. Gift and souvenir shop is also very reasonably priced, do visit and buy some stuff as per your interest.Only disheartening part is, not very well managed and should be looked after more cautiously.
A must visit place to know about Indian Air Force. The collection of fighter planes, air transport vehicles is simply awesome.Parking is easily available and free. The museum also has a souvenir shop which sells air force souvenirs at very reasonable prices. The cafe cum canteen there is also reasonable priced.A nice and must visit place.

Also it has plane gallery in which different planes are displayed alsoit has souvenir shop from which you can get airforce print goods and if you are a defence lover or NCC cadet or airforce fan you must go here best place to visit
A neat and clean place to visit in delhiManaged by defence staffYou can spend 2-3 hours HereThere are lots of retired planes and choppers are parked hereDo not try to touch but yes you can take many photos as you wantEnjoy 😊Tip:- kids aged 5 to 18 years will love this placeTip :- try to go in group so you will enjoy moreTip :- huge four wheelers parking is just outside of museum
If theres anyone who is here to verify whether the museum is open or not, as Maps showed it open when it was closed (COVID), I visited here today and it is open. With few more aircrafts added for display, the air force museum is now more alluring than ever. Adding to it, there was also a snacks and breakfast based cafe, longewala lounge, where you can spend time with your family. There is also a souvenir shop with numerous souvenirs and mementos of air force and fighter aircrafts, which you can purchase, like key chains, caps, pens, mask etc. Summing it up, the museum is just astonishing on the very highest level. You CAN NOT miss it if you are an air force fan ❤️
जय हिन्दJay HindEntry fee ₹20 &10 for adults and minor respectively,Monday and Tuesday closed ,Open till 5 PMParking space, just opposite to museum available.Cafeteria also available.Clean wash room .Air crafts and tanks captured from Pakistan kept there ,Several war fightees, jet, laser guided missiles available for visitors,Souvenir Shop : Product at reasonable price available.
Maintained typically in the sarkari style. Old airplanes seem to have been just painted using a bucket of paint and a brush. Not much information about the equipment kept there even though it forms an important part of our countrys rich history.A guided tour by a retired Airman with a few stories thrown in would have been great...Kids would love to see the airplanes there, but nothing more than that.
Some sections are temporarily closed..but otherwise a good place to spend some time getting to the History of our Air Force.
In this Air Force War Museum, you will find number of Historical Aircrafts, which participated in World War-2. Now mber of other historical documents, Awards, Badges and photographs may be seen in the Gallery. After Visiting this place you will definitely feel proud. Apart from this there is a wonderful Canteen inside the Premises, which is really nice and very hiegenic, where you can spend some valuable time with your dear one.
Super place, once everyone have to visit, and the food in the longewala canteen is super with reasonable price.

This place is very good of Kids and School Childrens. This place gives you details about Indian Air Force History with proof of each war held in past.
One of the calm and inspring places in delhi to go with kids.
Very good place to visit with family and friends, where all the historical contribution by Indian Air Force is maintained in very good condition with tags. Must visit
The Indian Air Force museum at Palam has been completely revamped 2019 onward. The care and quality of work put into restoring and repainting the exhibits and tidying up the hangar and outdoor display areas is incredible. Additional details have been added to the info boards, and most of the older aircraft have been painted with meticulously researched historical markings. The famous Su-7 tail finally has a serial number on it. New aircraft have also joined the zoo, including a specially marked MiG-27, an actual 1971 War MiG-21, and now finally a former East Pakistan F-86 Sabre. The gift shop could use some work, but there is now a functioning cafe and lounge area, which is a huge plus for those hot summer days.
Nice museum 1 visit is must ...👌👍
U will feel more proud for your country after visiting this museum. Dont forget to have something memorable from the shop at the exit.

Got nice collection of war memorabilia and aircrafts . Got to know the history of Indian air force and gone by days aircrafts . Rescue helicopter was really huge . But the place doesnt have a feel to it.they should add activities so that visitors feel involved . They could have done stuff to bring the place alive .
I personally visited , its good for students to gain a knowledge and to know more about our brave Air force officier. Its beside has a Air force runway. There is inside the original parts of Pakistan Army. I salute and thankful to their management team and officer to maintain a museum.
