This is the SSB Headquarters. Here you can find all senior rank officers. Priviously, this force was called Special Services Bureau, then it was renamed and attached under the Ministry of Home Affairs in 2001. This force is mainly deployed in Indias border areas with Nepal and Bhutan, but it is also deployed in counter-insurgency operations in parts of Chhattisgarh, Jammu & Kashmir. Day by day they are being given more responsibilities.
