Went for a tea there. The front desk manager of the restaurant served us hot chocolate as we ordered. It was filled to the brim and when I opened the lid (I had asked for a take away) since it was filled to the top it spiller. He took it back and all this while I was sitting on a table which had the spilled hot choclate which was not cleaned and he served me on that only. I had to remind him to clean the things. This is something which is thought as a basic when you enter hotel management.Oh and the complete hotel we being. Managed by front desk reception person and the dinning room manager

The stay was pleasant. Good hospitality. Was disappointed with the breakfast buffet. The taste wasnt great. Refill not prompt. I waited for sandwich for nearly half hour and went without eating it. The next day i decided to skip the breakfast. Theres definitely room for improvement in terms of taste and variety. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay. Three Star ratings mainly because of breakfast buffet.

Good Hotel and Food

It was pretty disappointing on entering the hotel . The reception was on the first floor. The team at the desk was not well trained. It gave me a yucky feeling even though I has booked thru makemy trip and even after having paid I did not stay. It looked like a hotel which you get in small towns. They have no smoking rooms and I did not see anywhere on their site as a non smoking property. Could be my mistake. After seeing the reviews I book this hotel. Some people liked this place. Every one has their taste and choice.

Worst Ever experienceI m not exaggerating the issue with this hotel but i should first first list the problems1. No internet and voice call connectivity and their own wifi is also not different , seems like we are in other world with no connects n u are helpless2. Very rude behaviour of staff at reception .3. Charging extra for your kids of even 5 years even if u dont need extra mattress although there is no obligation of paying extra for your 5 year kid in other hotels anywhere4. Very small property its not at all above than 3 stars5. Impractical approach and entrance , not good at all for family travellers, even reception is at first floor6. Everything too costly but it doesnt seem so when serverdThere are other lots of such things so avoid if u can and save your money. At this price a lot better peoperty at good lcation can be booked.Given 2 stars which is also on higher side.

Recommended a friend of mine from Malaysia to this hotel based on good reviews. Sad to say their service was so poor. The room cards dont work. They dont provide towels or mat and proper toiletries. The kettle smelled of roaches. Their house keeping must be informed for everything and it is so difficult to call them as they dont pick the calls. Breakfast served of limited spread. I dont understand why call 5 star hotel when their staff dont even speak or understand basic English. Need to improve a lot on their services.

I Booked through Goibibo and thanks, i got a good deal Good deal. The hotel is located near Patel nagar metro station and near to Karol Bagh market. The rooms were neat and clean with excellent service. Breakfast is good with Varieties. Toiletriesare of good quality and they are speakers in the toilet too. There is a remote control switch for all the lights which we can normally see in 5 star hotels. Only concern is the cost of the food which is exuberant. If they provide food in a nominal price, then it would be a great fulfilled stay. Overall good property to stay in Delhi.

Stayed for 05 nights, from 01-06 Mar 19. Had booked a Metro facing double Deluxe Room. Room and Hotel Clean ship was Good. Breakfast on most days were average. No banana, hard “idli” . Food items of Restaurant were pricy. House keeping was Good. Water bottles were small ones so one has to buy water. Reception/ Front Desk Staffs should have been groomed better. Newspaper in room is to be asked every day . Booked through Make my trip.

An excellent hotel strategically located on the main road a short distance from the nearest metro station. The hotel looks just another property of the same category but only when you are inside you realize it is over equipped with the latest technology. The rooms have smart switches,clean swanky bathroom with speedy showers, very comfortable beds and a very efficient staff manning the front desk and also the security desk. Having visitors over maybe not all that comfortable with all the questioning that goes being the only drawback. But truly recommended hotel with a comfortable stay in the area when compared to other properties.

The building is easily identifiable at night. Valet parking is available, so you dont have to worry about that. The ambience is nice. The ACs were switched on every time the temperature raised a little which made the event comfortable. Food is decent but the service part lacks a little. Though the staff is friendly theyre not quick enough.

We stayed in this hotel (executive room) for 4 nights and it was a pleasant experience. Rooms are clean with all facilities. Food was delicious. Hotel is close to Patel Nagar metro station. It would have been wonderful if wifi password was shared every day without asking as it was included as complementary. Breakfast (complementary) was good but with limited varieties. Went to this place for quick lunch. So my opinion will be restricted to that. Cuisine variety, taste, ambience everything is pretty decent. Staff is nice. Food quantity and presentation is fine. May be if I could stay here sometime, will be able to understand the place and comfort factor better.

My experience was very bad. There was a leakage in the adjacent room and water entered my room as well. I slipped badly because of it. I had sprain in my neck, elbow and back due to this. I had to vacate the room 2 nights early and shift to my relatives place because of this incident. On top of this I was not refunded 2 days amount(as I vacated room early) by the hotel since the booking was made through MakeMyTrip. When I asked for compensation all they did was 10% on the food I had ordered (which I barely did).

The hotel is good and the staff is courteous. One suggestion that I have is that the lobby has a lot of artificial plants that look tacky and take away grace from the setting. The hotel should replace those with real plants or remove them altogether. Also, while Im a patriot too, the multiple flags placed all around make it look childish.

What an amazing hotel. Such clean room, i never really expected. Not only clean but beautiful. Hotel provides all of the basic necessities, including dental and bathing kits. Service is really good as well, didnt have any problem at all.Coming to the food, I have only one word, D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S. Enjoyed about 6 meals there and every time I got something more than the previous one. Also, there dining area is so sweet and beautiful, youll fall in love with it.Visit delhi? Great hotel but food is little costly.Not just room and bathrooms, entire hotel is sparkling clean. Deluxe rooms are small but have everything well planned. The only thing they should consider changing in Deluxe room is to provide a king size bed in place of twin bed. It was inconvenient for a family of 3.Food is also little expensive. They may consider to offer better rates which may encourage more and more guests to have dinner at their restaurant.Overall a very well stay and will definitely consider for future stays in Delhi.

This is a hidden gem of the hospitality industry in New Delhi. I am a tough customer, I do like to do my homework before making and travel plans. And so I did with Hotel Golden Grand. After reading reviews of this place and its owners confrontational responses against bad reviews, I had my doubts about staying in this hotel(what if they are not fake after all as claimed by the hotel owner). But after having stayed here, I would agree that most of the bad reviews are fake. The front desk person upgraded our reservation to executive without any extra charge, without being asked. The room were clean and spacious. If I ever need a hotel to stay in Delhi, this would be my first preference.

The hotel is fine. The rooms are clean and the ac is powerful. The rooms have plenty of electrical sockets. Which is of great benifit these days as two people have 5 to 7 devices each.The check out time is 1pm.

We came to hotel around 8:00am and made to seat till 9:30. that to on several requests. is this d way to treat guest. further no smoking room available in the hotel. everytime u hv to go out of hotel for smoking. room is not at all worthy for the money paid. no balcony nothing. where to keep yr daily used closed. foods are kept costly here. we were told to hv breakfast till the room was allotted. when we started breakfast, they informed that it is chargeable and charged 1000 for 2p.we told that plz adjust this breakfast as we will leave the hotel early morning at 5:00am. But they didnt listen and forcefully charged the amount.

The property is excellent..room was clean n tidy..staff was courteous..I took only breakfast there, but it was good..the only thing I missed was gymnasium..given the pollution levels outdoors in Delhi, Gymnasium is a must in every hotel..but overall an excellent experience..

Neat and hygiene hotel. Food also good but too much expensive. They are very strict for check out time. They asked me to check out at 11am itself. I have flight at 4pm only , so I asked them 2 hours extra time, but they urged me to check out repeatedly. I check in prior day 11pm only even though they urged me to check out 11am.

Its an okay place to host small budget parties. Food was decent- nothing too memorable. Didnt visit the rooms so cant comment. Overall an okay experience- good for hosting small family functions and big kitty parties.

Initially I had not given any reason for giving 2 stars for the review as its not mandatory. And that is an option Google has provided. However now i am editing my review since I got an email from the hotel asking me to write to them the reason for giving only 2 stars. That is quite acceptable and appreciable since they want to know the reason. Probably it could be to improve the service. But what caught my eyes was the word to respond back with the reason if its not a FAKE REVIEW. Guys grow up, people dont have the time and energy to find your hotel and to give a negative review. Since you asked for it, Let me tell you why. I had been to hotel once as a ola driver dopped me at your gates saying its a good place to have food. However what pissed me was being escorted to the restaurant under the watchful eyes of a receptionist as if youre going to a hotel room probably! We had some starters and andlight food and came out as we where not really impressed with the Buffet on display. However the worst part was being followed out of the lobby by another hotel staff enquiring if we where checking out! Its quite embarrassing guys to be followed like that in front of other guest. As if you are running away not paying after staying at your hotel. This review is only for that. On the contrary we had an extremely good host at the restaurant, he was an elderly sardar who was really good and so was the starters. Hope you have a satisfactory review now.

Just 500 meters from Patel nagar metro. nice hotel. tasteful furniture. nice staff. iin my room there was lot of noise, probably the central air conditioner duct is going through room,on complaint staff did something and noise got off, room had no window.

Great location but the room tariff is on a higher side. The cost of food is considerably on a higher side compared to the ambience and taste of the food.

Accommodation was awesome, comparable to a 5 star, however we can pick on bathroom anytime, but cleanliness and hygeine was no compromise. One thing I was not comfortable was that I checked in very late and had booked from MakeMyTrip and also paid for breakfast. I was late at their desk by 15 minutes at 10:45 for breakfast. The receptionist denied breakfast completely, and kept mentioning complimentary breakfast is not served after 10:30 inspite of mentioning I have paid. If the Manager is reading this. You should be training front office to deal with such requests instead of sending someone out hungry who stayed for few hours at the hotel. I went hungry out of the hotel, but nice options nearby.

It is an great experience staying in this hotel. This was almost my 4 visit in new delhi and everytime i go there i stay in this hotel. It gives nice service and they are very polite.

Value for money stay... hygiene, responsive staff, services, food, room decor, washroom, etc.. everything was great in this hotel. Unmarried couples having proper Id are also allowed without any questions asked. Go for it!
