Its the Indo-France cultural centre. Lots of programs keep happening here, like exhibitions, panel discussions, film screenings, etc.It has the biggest French library in Delhi. .The rest of the building mostly has classrooms, apart from a cafeteria and a beautiful terrace. They conduct language courses, as well as mentoring sessions for students wanting to study in France. If you love French culture, then whether you study here or not, it is a must visit!

The teachers are pathetic, some of them are so rude, even the teaching style is not good, I will not recommend anyone to study here. The infrastructure maybe superb but I have studied with 4 teachers but none of them knew how to actually teach.I didnt like Padma maam and having problems with my current teacher alsoThe course is expensive and not worth the money and time. The teachers are even thinking that we are here to learn, they just pick any topic and teach anything which is highly unprofessional, grammar topics are not being done and some of them have such a casual approach, pathetic experience at Afd

Been to the cafeteria at Alliance Francaise of hearing a lot many good reviews in the past..but trust me didnt have a good experience as close to the previous received responses.OrderedChilly chicken- undercooked chicken, initial bite was good later the chicken pieces doesnt give the same taste. The chicken wasnt either fresh or cooked properly.2. Chicken fried rice.. almost similar experience along with the half cooked rice.where at one moment we felt that these cud also be the plastic rice or the fake rice3. Arabiatta chicken pasta. It was fine yet same bad chicken experience and as a ritual no garlic bread was served which came as a disappointment4. Lemon soda- with no lemon and soda within.. a.bland drink with5. Alloo pyaz parantha- initial 1st plate was good yet we found too much thick layer of uncooked flour and asked for a better filling and less flour with next serving of the 2nd plate.. but it was a disaster to have tht.. since there was no.hold filling within and all.was a thick uncooked layer of the flour .a tasteless experience. Wont be coming again and recommend anyone.THE FOOD IS AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS ON A DISCOUNTED PRICE. which makes it more popular and pocket friendly.. adjacent to UNICEF building and easily identify in general traffic. .

Should only be given one star, the extra star is only for Madame Sakshi and Monsieur Giome. The administration is pathetic, even worse than DU administration, to be honest. They never pick up the phone. Hardly reply to any mails.Do not give complete information at all. They never told me about the orientation test. When I had completed A1, I kept asking for the next level dates on mail and calls. They only responded after exhaustive mails and calls from students in the batch. Their student portal never works, its useless. Then you call/mail them, they do not respond.I was so serious and eager to learn. I have done A1 from here. The teaching is fine. Madame Sakshi is very very good. But sorry to say, the administration has failed me. What can you really do if the administration does not care about students at all and you cannot get in.That being said, the culture is good and canteen has good food. So you can go and eat. But my experience has been truly hurtful and pathetic.

The Teacher went about the program in bits and pieces, and the level of proficiency and the connection between the class sessions were not really there. I was not able to connect with one topic learnt in a class to the next topic that was taught in the class. Furthermore, the assessments were totally unfair and biased. I can vouch for a fact that 90% of the students in that batch are not at all fluent in the new language. I think, Alliance francaise needs to check its classes and teachers before starting the sessions

They should understand that if we are paying so much for a course, we should be allowed to change our teacher..Continuous change of Teachers is highly unprofessional. My friends teacher in the A1 level was superb..But gradually as he moved on to next levels, the quality of teachers is not at all upto the mark..Really disappointed..Hoping for him to get a better teacher in next level.

Then had chilly chicken and I really dont like the taste after the second bite.We were really hungry so ordered chicken fried rice and you can feel that it was half cooked. We ordered aloo parantha which was nice and after ordering the second one. An absolute disgrace in the name of a library - This library is supposedly one of the best in the countries, but doesnt allow people to use wifi here. Are they operating in the 1900s?How is one supposed to do their research here if theyre only allowed books? They have a total of 5 computers for a lot of people.Ridiculous and hostile staff with a system which dates back to the middle ages. Please try and update yourself to the norms of the rest of the world.

I’ve been a student of this institute for 2 yrs (approx) and hence I know this place very well. Being a private n international institute, the fee is really high (and so is the education system). Among all the teachers (who taught me), I met with one teacher who was really not that good even though the teacher had a lot of experience. The library is really good and have a good collection of books and other educational stuffs. The cafeteria, inside the campus, is good and not that expensive (for afd students as they’ve a different price list for the outsiders).Overall, this is one of the best institutes in Delhi/NCR for French Language.

I had a horrible experience at Alliance Francais. My 1st level course teacher was good, but A2 level teacher was awful, impatient and constantly cribbing about the lack of facilities in Alliance Francaise and picking on students in the class. I had asked Alliance for the name of the teacher before joining but they refused to tell me. There should be a change in policy and a student investing 8000 for the course should be told the name of the teacher alteast!!This is probably the strategy of Alliance to assign a good teacher for the introductory course and then follow up with an extremely poor teacher.

Considering that Alliance Française is such a reputed institution, I was led to believe that they would atleast pick the phone! I gave my DELF exam last year in December. In August by some miracle my call was picked up (lucky me!) and I was told that my certificate was ready (I called them to ask for it, not the other way round). So I expected to be given the certificate when I got there. When I reached Alliance (a good 45 minute journey from my house navigating the Delhi traffic), I was told that my certificate was not ready. So apparently it was prepared the day before and got lost the next day? Since then whenever I call them (I call them everyday by the way), no one picks up the phone! I hope to get my certificate (if Alliance Française de Delhi could oblige me by returning my calls- and no I didnt call during Lunch Hours),I would be forever grateful.
