One star is extra for the hotel location. CP is right next to it and Agrasen Baoli is 3 min walk from the hotel. It is next to Barakhamba metro station as well. The room size is very small. Toileteris are of good quality. They have 24 hrs room service with dining options as well. The hotel has cafe and restaurant as well which I wasnt able to try. Even of you pay the entire room rent thru online or cash in advance they will ask for security deposit upto INR 2000. This practice I observed only in Delhi. Room service is very fast and hygiene is good. Breakfast spread was good with multicuisine options. The view from 17th floor was awesome. I have posted pics for your reference. Overall nice hotel but overprized.Do mind to check few deals before Booking.

Settled near Connaught Place, this place is central to great restaurants, bars, shopping and dont forget fun. Customer service at this hotel is brilliant, people at the reception is helpful. Rooms are clean, bathrooms and spacious, rates are reasonable. Executive rooms are more than sufficient for 2 people. Make sure you book online for the rooms in advance to get better rates. Even though the place is located centrally, its quite and peaceful inside.

If you look at the room its hardly worth 3-3.5k. If you are willing to pay the 4-5k extra for the location, then go for it. Otherwise, surely look for better alternatives.About the room, kind of feels old, there is a door to go the next room and you can actually hear the people talking in the next room which is a big negative

This place was my reception lunch venue and though initially apprehensive, I was pleasantly surprised by how wonderful it all turned out to be. A 4-star hotel, this place seemed a little too sarkari (government owned/maintained) but the staff makes up for the little flaws the infrastructure has. With the right vendors on board you can turn this place into something wonderful!! Mostly booked for meeting by the top organisations, they warmly welcome one and all!

Great experience. Staff was so professional and helped in any way that they could. Self serve breakfast provided. Rooms are a pretty decent size. About an eleven minute walk to Connaught Place. Other markets nearby. Train station is literally around the corner about a 3 minute walk.

Four Star Hotel on barakhamb - hele road crossing situated in-between the multistory buildings housing thousands of office in vicinity perfect for having small functions , parties and AGM etc. Food is exceptionally good with decent hospitality. The restaurant here is having big glazed widows with beautiful green view.

The Hans is a great place to stay for a short duration, compare to all the other hotels in Connaught Place. The building is easily visible from the main road, however the entrance is slight hard to locate. The views from the hotel rooms are excellent. You can see the whole of Connaught Place. The staff are friendly and helpful. Maintenance of rooms could have been better. Furnishings in the room and fittings in the bathroom are an old style and could have been upgraded to make it more modern. The internet speed is pretty slow and I suggest that you carry your own dongles. Overall, a good stay!

A vehicle can drive to the steps and ramp grom here you will ealk through a metal detector. Upon arrival at the reception area you are greeted by a well tailored staff member offering a fresh fruit juice and cold hand towel. All baggage is taken to your room.upon opening the door there is a good size bath room to one side and wardrobe on the opposite side two steps later you are treated to well manicured bed/s. At the end of the room there is s window from roof to 1 metre off the floor and streching from wall to wall. From we had beautiful views of the city nestling into the desert.

Staff is very courteous and service prone. Food is also good. Hotels restaurant has various menus for italian, continental, Chinese and Indian food. Barakhamba metro station is very near by. Overall a satisfactory and loving experience I carried from here.

Its a decent hotel, with a very good location. Its literally less than 3 minutes walk from barakhamba road metro. As soon as you enter the hotel, the lobby seemed a little drab and outdated. The people at the counter were however extremely hospitable.The room experience could have been better. Nothing memorable. The food at the 2nd floor restaurant is expensive, but absolutely delicious!The TV in the room was tiny, and we had to call for a dental kit and room slippers. High rise.. not a bad view of concrete jungle.. little expensive for the services. Breakfast spread is ok.. mutton kebab and biryani was hood.

The location is excellent. Theres a constant stream of available transport on Barakhamba Rd and a metro station very close. Do check for an appropriate room if you need to take a lot of calls on your mobile. Staff and service: the staff was always helpful, and usually quite cordial and smiling. Rickshaws are good.

The hotel can be visually located from the road. The metro gate number 3 is opposite to the hotel.The build up of the hotel is very conjusted. The conference hall is good enough but the clear height is around 8to 9 ft.

While it is a 5 star, its a very old hotel. You can expect the same hospitality and cleanliness, but the interiors might not be at its best. Hotel is good, but i didnt had good experience over there. The hotel reception staff was not at all co-operative. The hotel management basically sort of did the cheating basis on the reservation. I had to check out before the actual day even.

This is a very good hotel by location and as majority hotel rooms are on the 21st floor to 15th floor it provides fabulous view of the entire city. Rooms are very clean and has nice interior design. They provide coffee maker in the room along with the refrigerator. The major problem is with the bath rooms. There is no good separation between bathing are and latrine area. This makes the entire area wet after u bath. Also showers are of old type with the water holes are only at the circumference, so u have to play with water to really get wet!!

The rooms need painting and deep cleaning. Upon notifying reception, person came with mosquito killer bat (racket) and almost did nothing. Do note that the bill will be chargeable in Rupee according to the exchange rate. The best part of the hotel is its location and accessibility all the important areas of New Delhi.

I have been staying at The Hans on and off for about 10 years and have always enjoyed my stays here. The breakfast area (2nd floor) is large but you cannot go outside on the terrace to enjoy it because there are too ***y pigeons and their droppings are everywhere. The hotel is located about 10 mins walk from Connaught Place in a largely business district. Incredible price and the best accom secret in Delhi.

I attended a training program there. Air conditioning of the room was not independent. You wanted to close the unit but we couldnt because the same AC was attached with another rooms AC. it was not independent. We had breakfast also that was ok.The washroom in front of the dining hall was not ok it was smelling very bad.

Surprised to learn this is a four star hotel, I think three is more accurate, or less. Room was okay, but there was no bath as they said there was, and they didnt pick me up from the airport as they promised. Definitely overpriced for what you get, but hotels in India are very variable in my experience. I would advise staying at one of the chains. Ginger is a cheap alternative, or better still the Ibis. Or of course the Marriott if you can afford it.

Decent value for money. I have receive warm welcome and the people tried to help me with their knowledge. ***y hotel rooms have a glass partition between the room and the bathroom with a blind that can be lowered. As I have observed, on balance the hotel does just deserve a Very Good grading.

Great service, price, location. The hotel is a bit into the faded glory stage of its life, but the staff more than make up for it with their exceptional service and friendly attitude. The hotel is peaceful and conveniently-located for access to many interesting attractions (e.g., Red Fort, Jantar Mantar, National Museum, India Gate, ...). The breakfast buffet is very good, as is the on-site Italian restaurant. I will definitely stay here on my next visit to Delhi and would recommend it to my friends.

Hotel is located on Leo Tolstoy Marg just next to Barakhamba Road. The staff are friendly, accomodating and honest. Breakfast buffet spread is good. There was a wide breakfast selection although it did get a little repetitive but tasty. Meals in the main restaurant were good with a variety of dishes on the menu each time.

Hansalay Building: Safety, Hygiene, Cleanliness is a big question Mark. No checks of visitors at the Gate level, to avoid any risk.Cleanliness quality!!! When we are talking about: Swachh Bharat, (Clean India) !!!!!!!!

Excellent hotel for the price. Staff extremely helpful, rooms comfortable plus they have a water filter. Excellent restaurants which they opened out of hours especially for me... free wifi and cable TV. Cannot praise them highly enough. Not perfect: booked a taxi to go to local police station and was taken to railway station 😀 but that is the only niggle I can think of. Would definitely stay there again.P.s. Beware of monkeys lurking on the patio that will try and mug you. I kid you not.

Nice basic hotel exactly what we needed. Central to where we wanted to visit. English of staff was very good which was helpful. Room was clean but there was a slight urine smell. The only reason it doesnt get more stars is all our Ubers found it difficult finding the hotel. (at least 6 different drivers) the front of the building is covered by a lot of trees and once you notice it the entrance is gone and you have to go around the roundabout ahead. The sign is also quite low so difficult to see for the driver.

Most pathetic experience.Checked in at night. Although a double bed room was booked online in advance, they said that all the rooms were sold out and provided us with a room with split single beds. Room was not clean, required maintenance, toilet is small congested. Woke up in the morning to find out that there is NO FLASH OR HAND FAUCET IN THE TOILET !!!Talked to management to change room, they said that they cant do anything, there rooms are full. Staff is also impolite and unprofessional.

One of the best five star hotel in heart of delhi in Connaught Place (Now Rajiv Chowk), this hotel got very near of barakhamba road metro station. Food is very good. Rooms are very nice. Separate rooms nor even smokers.

I have visited this hotel and found very nice with soft spoken staff. Staff is helpful and courteous. Hotel is placed in good position for all the sights and you can walk to Connaught shopping area in 10 mins and the India Gate in 15 mins. Take a tuk tuk ride its cheap and fun.

Was staying in Hotel on 26th feb to 28th feb 2018 room no 1907..On 27th i found my wrist watch stolen from the room as the clean staff that came in the night to.clean my room after dinner only half cleaned my room.He didnt returned the secind time.when i complained about this the hotel staff didnt gave proper response and not even showed coutesy to call me up and take up the matter.Was only told that they have checked and notFound the same which to me looks a casual approach.Will never recommend anybody to stay in hotel as the hotel is preferred just because of the location they are placed but service is pathetic........

Great location, highly safe and secure premises, super-fast Wifi, and comfortable and clean rooms. Housekeeping staff also polite and efficient. However, folks at the front desk are very inefficient and shady.They tried to charge us twice for the meals and refused to give receipts for individual payments and delayed it until check out. They were not at all transparent and very clumsy at record keeping.

Shopping areas like Jonpoth market, Palika bazar and Connaught place all are nearby. My 16th floor room view was awesome. Food is pricey but good. Morning breakfast needs variation.
