Its a good place for North Indian dishes.I went there for dinner and ordered daal makkhani along with one butter naan, and butter tandoori roti.The chutney they served was so amazing that I ate it all. The daal dish was super yummy.It was totally worth the money I spent.

It was good veg food place for a family in a crowded market...Ordered Tandoori Chhap, Kadhai Paneer and Dal Tadka... Everything was in good taste... Budget friendly restaurant.

Not a warm reception at first time. They received well the 2nd time. Food was exquisite. Tad higher on the price. Located at Main bazaar, very filthy place outside shop. Shop has glass doors keeping dust and pollution away. In this area, most of shops are open to pollution.

I had an awesome dinner here last night and have come back and had a tasty breakfast. Not one for frequenting a restaurant when only spending a few days in a place but this place is clean, the curries taste fantastic, staff are friendly and there English is very good. Its been a good respite from the area which is hectic and not overly friendly. A+

The food here was good for westerners (no Delhi Belly). Gets an extra star because of the location just at main bazaar near new Delhi train station. Amazing scenes of Indian life on the walk up the street. Recommended for that purpose, food okay , limited menu but all edible and good value. They have good WiFi also. If this is useful please like!

Excellent resturant. Highly recommend the bhindi (okra) curry. Very high quality of service and ingredients. We came here 2 times in a row and could eat again but we left Delhi. Great daal also. A safe and tasty choice in pahar ganj area of Delhi.

Place is quite average just like all a place open in a local to feed people and earn money beacuse all food is ok with over normal price which is normal in today every restaurant or small cafe has high price range. But we cant say that the food is so good here that we should come here again.

Have used this place for a number of years now when I take students to visit India. Each and every time the food is delicious and the staff very accommodating. Highly recommend for wholesome, inexpensive food.

I would have rated this place with 5 stars but they dont have everything they mentioned in their menu. I ordered three items, one from Chinese, one from Italian and one from beverage, but they said no to everything and in the end asked me to choose something from Indian. So I was disappointed with that because I went there to have something different.Expect this, the services were good.

Pretty good spot. Get the thali for best value and share it with your group. Masala chai was not the best and overpriced. Overall clean place to grab a bite though a bit overpriced and catered towards non Indians.

Ok for the price, good location. No place to meet anyone or work on a laptop and the bathroom could use some attention. They had a sweet dog and the beds were comfy.

FOOD POISONINGWe had Dinner there and all I can say is just never do it. After four hours everyone started to feel bad. Now, about 24 hours later, we still dont feel that good.Excellent Idea it you have to catch a flight in the night after dining there. Absolutely horrible!We spend two weeks in India, and never felt bad from food before, even when buying something from the street.Thank you Tadka, never again.

AND Ssince these is highly rated they come here. i think food is good here. Only thing is that this place is little shabby.

I frequently come to New Delhi and I always come back to eat at Tadka! I love their delicious vegetarian food. They have wonderful Indian food as well as Western options. Located near new delhi railway station, a complete restaurant in the midst of one of the most busiest place of new delhi, Not so hygenic and tidy and spacious but food is good, one can find many foreigners seated and eating. claimed to be a holder of certificate of excellence by tripadvisor !
