So disappointed with the food. We went for their Sunday brunch on valentines and boy did they serve us the worst tasting sushi we have eaten. It had paprika sprinkled all over that we could hardly taste the salmon.Mutton skewers were dry and chewy. Dimsums had full blown chicken pieces rather than mince chicken. Which made them taste raw.Getting to the main course the wok seared chicken just tasted of fish sauce and oyster sauce. It was too pungent to taste anything else. Then massaman seafood curry had so much lemon grass which I generally hate the flavour of.I have no idea why this restaurant is so hyped. But one of my friend said never go for their buffet menu as Al a carte is better. We ll never know. Not going there again ever.

Pa Pa Ya has been my go to place whenever I want to introduce a friend to great Sushi! Though they had discontinued their Sushi boat on the menu but they still made one available on my request. Vikram was extremely kind and patient while I decided the types and combinations of Sushi for my friend to try. Loved the service. We started off with Edamame in Chilli Garlic sauce and were absolutely satiated by the time 2 of us could wrap up with the boat. The boat itself came with a brilliant assortment of Prawn Tempura, Crispy fried Maki, some California rolls, Tuna rolls, and Salmon, Tuna and Yellowtail sashimi. It was a great indulgence after a long time! To top off the whole experience the dessert was absolutely magnificent! Elite combinations of gooey hazelnut fondant cake, Matcha and caramel were beautifully married to the Blueberry gelato quenelle. It was an explosion of flavours right from the first bite!At places like Pa Pa Ya one has to overlook the pockets and enjoy the experience, but having said that improvement is always a step towards perfection. Until next time!

By chance we stop by at PaPaYa for Sunday brunch after exhausting shopping (not keen on it at all, but we needed to buy some stuff).First thing we were impressed is the ambience- the restaurant is board at a dome. It makes it light and friendly. But at the same time tables are set good enough to provide required privacy.Sunday brunch offer is something outstanding. About 7 delicious courses with unlimited duck, sushi and dumplings. They serve it very professionally and in the eye-catching manner. To say delicious- to say nothing. Wed gone to see Avengers End Game at Imax PVR at Select CityWalk and decided to have lunch here. Id heard that this restaurant was good. Were a trifle selective about our food but were open to a new experience. Neither of us was disappointed. It was a weekday afternoon but the place was still quite full, a good indication that it was good. Food was excellent, presentation was superb, though portion sizes maybe a problem if you are a big eater. Thankfully we had no such problem! Service was attentive without being obsequious, something I am happy about. I hate places where every few minutes someone descends at your table, while youre eating, to ask if things are okay. They also have a balcony overlooking the front of the mall with tables and chairs for you to take your drink there while you smoke. This will obviously be a great place to sit in the late evenings. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the food and will definitely be visiting the restaurant to try their other dishes.

Pa pa ya is one of the best Pan Asian restaurant in the city and a much spectacular one because of its architectural glory.Once you enter this place you feel elevated. Its a product of Massive restaurants chain and it meets the expectations that comes with this branding. The restaurant is a late dining place for families and have different kinds of seating suiting everyone. We started our brunch with Crystal dumplings...pokchoy and chicken served with three sauces which ranged in degree of hotness.Bao which is steamed and fermented bun had Korean chicken stuffing. This was by far the best tasting bao to me.As soft as it can beautifully crafted and had a juicy and flavorful chicken stuffing.Lao mai gai were lotus stem steamed parcels with chicken leg cooked with some sticky rice and their custum made sauce. This felt like a miniature meal in itself.Glutinous rice were rice coated chicken dumplings which were steamed with its own moisture and stock served in mini plates within dimsums basket. These were so flavourful and juicy.Cheung fun was a form of rice paper rolls having crispy veg filling and was topped with soy sauce. The rolls were served cut open and they had a delicious crunchy filling inside. The cocktail which made the brunch more beautiful was Lighthouse- it was an refreshing vodka based cocktail made with galangal, lemongrass, some pineapple and orange. The vodka itself is infused with lemongrass. This was a perfect summery and refreshing drink one can ask for.Main course was Chicken massaman curry, yaki udon noodles and sticky rice.Massaman curry is a relatively milder version Thai red curry and it was made to perfection. The aroma of their traditional spices could be felt from a distance. This was a flavorful curry which went well with sticky rice.Yaki is pan fried in Japanese and udon noodles are thick wheat noodles. These were stir fried noodles which had few vegetables and soy sauce base with a hint of sesame oil too.It was a complete package in itself.Higy recommended.Adding to this entire brunch experience, the server suggested chocolate ball on fire. The dome shaped chocolate ball had scoops of ice cream inside, only to be revealed after the server pours hot melted chocolate sauce on it.Served with roasted dry fruits and brownie crumble, this dessert is to die for.Classy, rich and amalgamation of various chocolate variants, one cant stop after having the very first bite. The entire brunch experience was splendid affair clubbed with their more than perfect serving staff and prompt service.I had a walk around their open mini kitchen located in the centre of entire sitting only to fill myself with the aromas of fresh lemon grass and galangal which were getting treated to go in their preparations. The flavours and menu is meticulously planned and executed with so much variety perfected to taste distinct yet delicious.delicious.The classy and tastefully designed interiors clubbed with extraordinary pan Asian fine dining experience with a touch of modernity yet retaining authenticity makes it on the top tier of restaurants.

Had been on my wishlist since such a long time, I cant even tell! And am i glad i finally visited ?YES!Starting with the welcome shot (amouse bousche) that had a watermelon covered in delicious foam, I knew there and then how amazing this whole experience is going to be!We started with the asparagus, corn and burnt garlic dimsum which was served in a bed of black bean sauce: DELICIOUS and recommended. The next I had was something which was beyond my imagination. and exceptional. The truffled imitation oakwood, has to be the FINEST bao Ive had. Served with mustard sauce, garlic paste and mung bean noodles, this one was a delight. The bao was filled with mushrooms and cream cheese. This was one of the most extravagant dish Ive ever had. PLEASE GO TRY THIS!Post which we had the sushi tree which had the following sushisAvocado mango: tangy but since im not a mango person ill skip thisAsparagus sushi: well, it had a crunch edge to it and hence i really liked it. MUST TRYKappa maki: Cucumber sushi, good one toothe one sushi that had my heart was the CRISPY VEGETABLE MAKI SERVED with dehydrated spinach. A MUST MUST MUST TRY. Its a chef special and i had two rounds of it.. even the california roll that i ordered was bland in front of it.Next we had the crispy lotus stems which can be found at any pan asian restaurant nowadays, so this can be avoided.Next we had was the shitake and burrata croquetas: good crispy mushroom croquettes. Yummy!Another CHEFS MARVEL was the beer battered avocado tacos: a little spicy but wow! RECOMMENDED!!The thing that disappointed me was the edmame and chickpea slider, maybe that was something not for my taste! For the dessert we had the papaya classic, chocolate ball which had an overload of chocolate with brownie, chocolate, vanilla iceream, oreo and anything and everything chocolate along with nuts. But what stole the show was the liquid hazelnut fondant cake, matcha and blueberry quenelle: QUDOS to the chef for the concept and plating. The cake was so delicious which was covered in a bed of matcha tea. This one stole the show for me hencee RECOMMENDED!For the drinks we had the exotica and thirsty ride, but honestly when we had such a wonderful spread of food, the drinks took a sideline. However its worth mentioning that they dont serve hot beverages.Special mentions to henry and gaurav who made sure i was served with the best food with delicious recommendations.Ive never seen such a cooperative staff who knows exactly whats their in each of the dishes they serve.Im definitely going to visit this place again.

I was little skeptical about whether to go to this restaurant or not, but as soon as I went there the staff was pretty good and they welcomed us with joy. Especially Siddharth Gupta (Manager), he was really helpful through out our dining. I felt lively over there as everyone was good. One of my friend told me that this restaurant has more varieties of Dimsum than anywhere else in the city and the same turned out to be true. They have a separate menu for the Dimsum. We at first were served an amuse busy which was watermelon and some Chinese liquid made with molecular gastronomy. Flavors were really good and had a twist of spice to it. Then we went for the real thing i.e. truffle oil and Bok choy Dimsum and they were like bright green in colour really appealing to the eye. I personally liked it. Then we ordered Baozi which were amazing and hence ordered it twice. In between the meals we got lemon sorbet. Since I was only eating veg food for that day, I ordered Veg Thai green curry which really met the expectation and my friends went for Chicken Phanaeng curry which is generally bright red in colour and has a nutty taste. The whole experience was really good. And Siddharth Gupta just made the experience overwhelming. Will definitely recommend the restaurant to everyone. For sure Im going to head back to the restaurant.

Pa Pa Ya is a wonderful place created by Zoravar kalra. Its different than the usual chinese restaurants. The ambience, interiors and music is quite superb.Coming to the food, I tried Miso soup, avocado starter, hakka noodles along with mix vegetables and Chocolate Fire Ball. The food was quite good especially the main course. The portion size is a little less though. The service is pretty slow over here.Best part was The Chocolate Fire Ball, the presentation and taste was outstanding.

Pa Pa Ya is not just any average fine dining, its a completely different experience with Pan-Asian cuisine delivered on your table by their staff with precision and perfection.I visited during the day hours for my lunch over a weekday and as far as my experience is concerned, the ambience is quite impressive with bright daylight coming in from the dome, adding up to the grandeur of the interiors and the aura of the place. The light ambient music playing at a mild volume is another blissful highlight of the place.I was acknowledged with the special cocktail festival going on, which had some signature concoctions prepared in different spirits.I tried a few namely- FRUIT TEA & TONIC which had this fusion of green tea with elderflower, strawberry and basil followed by PURPLE SUMMER which attracted me due to the presence of exotic mulberry flavours infused in Jasmine Cream Lemonade. Both the drinks were Gin based.Talking about the food, the course begins with a fancy presentation of Amuse-bouche which has chunks of watermelon with flavoured froth to do the cleansing job well.Beginning with the Starters, we had these super-delicious CHICKEN DUMPLINGS which were pan-seared and had just the right amount of chicken fillings tossed in gyoza sauce.Being a big-time sushi fan, next couple of dishes were no less than a treat for me, my favourite being the Sushi-tree which basically was a platter with a range of sushis beautifully presented.Fillings had spicy tuna, salmon and prawns.Little surprises came in amid the course meal with lychee flavoured chilled sorbets. The starters had me quite full yet I couldnt miss onto their Pork skewers tossed in Barbeque sauces. The flesh was tender and was cooked up to perfection. With everything being so perfect, the course meal had to end on a drool-worthy note with their signature chocolate ball infused with orange liqueur, sugar coated nuts and hot chocolate sauce catalysing the whole flavour of this perfect finisher. All in all the place is definitely a must visit.

First up - you NEED to take the Sunday Branch offer with the Champagne option. Its a no brainer with Sushi and Peking duck for a sum of Rs 1900 and unlimited Champagne for Rs 1750 plus tax. Remember the desert included in itself is Rs 700+.Second - ask for Farooq and Mr. Prakash for helping you with options in the menu.Great ambience, music and you have your own leasurely pace under the famous dome in papa ya.One piece of advise is go slow, take your time as the buffet is the prefix menu has a lot of things in it.

An impulse visit which is turned me into an immediate fan of this place.Right from the moment you enter, this place grabs & holds your attention & senses. Bright, airy and commodious - visually & actually. The natural sunlight streaming through the massive overhead dome has been smartly utilised to great effect. The staff is spot-on with ever aspect of service. Their recommendations were spot on as well. Loved the palate cleanser served-up right in the beginning. The theatre grabs you and you immediately want to pop it into your mouth. A delightful combination of flavors hits you immediately, leaving you sighing for more. The starters were immaculate in taste & presentation. Must try the spare ribs. It was indeed after a really long time that Ive tasted something so good. The prawns snack your tastebuds into overdrive with their slightly fiery after-kick.The chicken shwarma was juicy & delectable. Dont miss it.The dessert was absolutely divine. Liquid chocolate & blueberry quinelle in a boat shaped presentation was an absolute surprise in terms of visual appeal, artistry & taste. A perfect ending to a thoroughly delightful meal.By the way, the beer choices are sadly minimal....so go figure!!!

An elegant place with some fine management, I was returning back from my office yesterday and my mother called me up and she called me at Pa Pa Ya, as they were already there.I love this cuisine a lot, so I was the happiest to be there, the management was so well managed. My table was handled by Mr. Rajesh, he was too good on his duty. The Baos, Sushi, Crystal Dimsums were a way too good.Mochi Ice Cream Version 2.O,Dessert of the months, best ever tried in so many months.

Open airy ambience, yet cozy and private enough. Service is quite excellent and the food, though sounding exotic, is primarily panasian to the taste, which most dilli wallas would like. A reasonable extensive bar menu too. A must try are the seared lamb chops, not really so much for the unidimensional favours but for the excellent texture of perfectly cooked meat.

Poor, low quality spread for an expensive Sunday Brunch. Surreptitiously charged me for a bottle of water without offering house options. Didnt honour Zomato Pro commitment. Way past its prime and not in the same league as Yum Yum Cha.

I visited last weekend there as heard them about much. fancy Japanese restaurants you can called to PaPaYa. Beautiful ambience well decorated give you feel of goodness. thought I find prices is quite high almost charges like any 5 star hotel restaurant.what I tried first things there was Of course dimsome. it was well stemmed good balance filling inside chicken dimsome. good things about of it that not at all dry but juicy and tender to chewing.Veg curry was full of veggie and goodness. any veggie can like to try. though Im not veggie but when I am not sure about its halal or not I avoid to try so veggie version is better option for me. but that I can say it better idea to try as it delicious little spicy which tempt your mouth.End up with Platter of sushi. Everyone wants to try so me . Shushi was serve so well that make you more hungry and at least worth to money. The rice were good sticky which require init and well wrapped ingredients inside and out. Over all good experience. rate approx 3500 rupees for two.
