They were on time and able to help with all questions .Advice given , explained well with options and pro and cons of all treatments
Thank you Doctors At Nerang for your prompt response and assistance..A big Thank you to all the receptionist there ..Great work and wonderful for the community.
Dr Ali is very informative and I never feel like another number with him.. Thank you Dr Ali for always being so helpful!!
The best Doctors Surgery that I have found...terrific doctors aswell as all the staff...highly recommended...
As a traveller it is often difficult to get a GP appointment in a hurry. Doctors At Nerang got me an appointment within 24 hours and solved my medical problem promptly and efficiently
Front desk assistants are excellent. Communication and response times are seriously second to none on the coast. Even though it must be difficult dealing with so many things and people at once they just streamline it and never make you feel. The doctors are pretty good although feel a bit run through with the amount of people they see. Dont expect amazing attention and diagnosis. Although have had great experiences with Shine the physio and the skin doctor there.
I tried other medical centres in the area and was treated like a number with zero compassion or care to my situation. I then tried Drs @ Nerang and met Dr Yousuf. A brilliant Dr that goes above and beyond to not only make sure that my treatments were on the right path but also takes the time to explain the pros and cons to the different options and treatments. The reception staff are always very friendly and helpful. 2 tips I’d like to share are that the nurses have a big jar of lollipops. If your in your 40’s and don’t ask you probably won’t get 1. And secondly if they want to weigh you in the reception area the scales will give pretty loud instructions but they won’t yell out your weight! Lol Big love to the team at Drs@Nerang.
Have been a patient here for 10 years the reception staff and nurses are a credit to this practice, but the reason for my rating is that our family of 4 has never had a appointment run on time even when we have booked one of the first appointments of the day, it is a normal expectation that appointments are always running 30mins - 1 hr behind.
Doctors At Nerang Mall are extremely efficient. Waiting time is usually minimal. I have seen three of the doctors there and highly recommend each one of them. I have received excellent care at this Medical Centre.
Terrible - the ladies at front desk do an amazing job otherwise don’t bothers with doctors here. Here to get a simple Covid vaccine for disabled son as one of the places I could find with Pfizer. Our doc recommended that he only get Pfizer. Doc here Totally insensitive to disabled people. Son said I don’t want to go there. The place needs to be sterilised and cleaned. I almost walked out the minute I opened the front door.Having worked around the world in developing countries for over 15 years with the likes of Doctors Without Borders this clinic is on a par with anything I’ve seen in Haiti, the worst most remote hospitals in India, the favellas of Brazil. In fact I’d rather be at one of those places than here.An elderly lady opposite me announced publicly “I have to go outside I can’t breathe in here.” The air conditioning couldn’t cope with the people. The doctors office was filthy and small. Disgusting. No Jab. We walked out.Should be closed down.
Highly appreciated for your great service. Doctors at Nerang are very friendly and helpful. I’m really happy with the service.
Dr alam is a excellent doctor probably the best one Ive ever seen, been seeing him now for 5+ years he doesnt miss anything
I have been comming to doctors nerang I can honestly say the girls and the counter always do there best and help me all the time and when I ring they always help me then the nurses have down dressing for me also well gave me my vaccine I have found them very nice and most of all my doctor and other doctors there are great a big thank you doctor karl. And thank you all for looking after me .
Awesome people they do more than most and they care and will help you to become healthier again
Great on boarding process for new patients. Friendly front desk staff and doctor Ali was a good listener. 😊
DR Alam was amazing, best GP i have seeen. Came i after having what i thought was reflux, he notices other signs and sent me straight to emergeny where it was discivered i had a heart attack. Mayne not here if not for his pick up. Thank you
This practice is amazing the two ladies that I have known for quite some time which I have been going to this practice since it open Vicky & Vanessa are absolutely so helpful when ever I ring. The nurses are amazing as well & so are most of the Drs as I carnt comment on the ones I havent seen.
I had my first COVID-19 AstraZeneca vaccination on 18 June 2021. I had no adverse reactions.
Lovely receptionist, doctor and nurse. Thank you.
Busy place. Good service and friendly courteous staff.
Very good people here - front desk and doctors. I travel a fair way to keep coming here as I moved out of the area. Very happy.
Not great. Almost an hour wait. we hadn’t been to this clinic in a few years & we will not be back again. Reception needs to learn how to multitask & COMMUNICATE.
Efficient and convenient. Good bedside manor and caring.
The rest of my family have been going to Doctors at Nerang for quite a while now but I was reluctant to leave the medical centre I had been attending for the last 30 years. However recently I have found it difficult to get an appointment at my usual centre and needing to see a doctor on a Sunday, my husband made an appointment for me at Doctors At Nerang. They had availability when I needed it - on a Sunday and I felt welcome the moment I walked in. Everyone was friendly and efficient and I did not have to wait long to be seen by a doctor. The doctor I saw had empathy and did not rush me through my appointment, ensuring all my concerns were addressed. I will definitely make Doctors at Nerang my preference next time I need a doctor and highly recommend them. They bulk bill and are located in a small shopping centre with a Terry White chemist next door.
The receptionist had little idea of what was going on, which is a great start. Asked a lot of pointless questions and very few of any relevance. Doesn’t help they are running different protocols to QLD health and their is no consistency with their doctors. More than happy to book phone consults though, which achieve little more than getting the doctor paid.
Always polite staff and amazing doctor been using the same doctor for 15 yrs now and he is amazing
Great Doctor, great staff, efficient and patient.Ive never felt rushed. They are very thorough.Cant rate them highly enough. The nurses are great with injections as well.
Good reception desk service,a variety of doctors and services, easy parking and access.
Reasonable wait time, doctor was very thorough. Cant complian
I always get top care at this drs the only down fall is sometimes u have to wait parlay your time but that happens at most doctors anyways. They know me by my face now and I wouldn’t want it any other way! Great service always happy to help!
The doctors that have treated me at this practice have looked after my health for some time now and I wouldnt go anywhere else. They have encouraged me to become healthier and they have sorted out any issues along the way. I highly recommend Doctors At Nerang.
I went today to DR. NASREEN AKHTER and unfortunately it was once again waste of time on Australian GPs.I came with a very strong pain in my upper abdomen (5th day already). Dr did not ask any questions about my past condition or family illnesses. No interview whatsoever. I told her myself that my both grandmas died young with stomach cancer, that my mom and sister have IBS and ulcers.I told dr about my symptoms and she kindly ignored them. She asked if I have pain after eating, I said I dont. I dont have as well burns in a throat or acid in my mouth but after 1 min of touching my stomach dr came with a Reflux idea. Just a min after I said I dont have burning feeling (symptoms of reflux). So I told her that I took reflux medications today and yesterday and that im sure it;s not reflux, but she ignored all that and symptoms and gave me meds for reflux. She sent me next door for a breath test that she assured I must and can do right know to even buy meds. So I went and they told me that I need to be 6h with no water and food. Apparently GP does not even know that. Really I was almost in tears when she did not listen when I said that its not reflux as I know reflux symptoms and I do not have any. Once again I left another GP with a feeling that they do not care and worst, they dont have knowledge to help. What is more dr, despite my family history did not even suggest colonoscopy or gastroscopy, to check if it;s not IBS or ulcers. So tommorow Im going privately to a different doctor coz seems if you dont pay, you dont get good doctors.
I honestly dont know why they bother making appointments. My daughter was eventually seen an hour later than her scheduled appointment time. We have been attending this practice for many years and the staff are always very pleasant, doctors are generally good, but the management of appointments leaves a lot to be desired. I think its time we start looking for a new medical practice.
Great if you need a medical certificate for work but that’s bout it. Always running late. Even the first appointment of the day runs 10 minutes late. Normal waiting time with an appointment is 30-60 minutes. I have the correct Medical, I know exactly where you are, maybe I should send a photo of myself in there? My name is not Adzee Feno. They tried charging $240+ for a doctor to write about x3 medications I am on for my employer.
I have been seeing Dr Haseeb Alam for a couple of years now, and he is honestly the best doctor I have ever had! He always takes the time to listen, never rushes you, and talks through how he can help. I suffer with addiction and mental health issues and he has been a constant help with zero judgement. An amazing man and doctor!
Its taken me years to find someone Im comfortable with and I am finally comfortable. The reception staff are great, my doctor, I appreciate for keeping it real, and telling me off, because I deserved it. Many thanks Dr Yousef.
Good reception. But the doctor that was late. Thinks I know everything considering I work in the health industry.
I was very pleased with the Dr I visited. He was very thorough with his examination asking all the right questions.Being my first time at this surgery I was a bit concerned but I will be returning.Receptionist was friendly and professional.Thank you
After a really bad experience with a very rude receptionist a couple of years ago, I left a one star review. However she was replaced not long afterwards and the staff that I have dealt with since have been great, polite and helpful even when it`s incredibly busy and Dr. Kal is excellent, easy to deal with and a great communicator. I highly recommend this surgery.
I have use this practice for quite a few years and have a great experience with most of the doctors . The team there are great
Nice practice. Friendly and helpful receptionists. Dr Yousef gives me the time that is required for my consultations. Overall, Excellent!
The absolute worse doctor centre. I booked via phone saying I needed to get a vaccination. I get there sign as a new patient then wait 40 plus minutes to see a doctor that I did not need to see.One of this was explained when I booked. I shouldn’t have had to wait that long, for a doctor to do nothing.I do not recommend going.
Dr Ali is always calm and shows great care. The girls on the front desk know their jobs really well and are polite and lovely
Very easy to get a one on one appointment with a Doctor 7 days a week.
Dr Abdullah Yousuf is not only a highly skilled GP but also a very kind hearted respectable person. His manners are impeccable.
You get what you pay for.
I’ve been going here for a few years now and always seemed to wait at least 15 minutes which is fine, I’m happy to wait up to 30 minutes as I know doctors can’t control how long their appointments go for. Went in today for an appointment at 4:10, was told that the doctor was running late and that there was 3 people in front of me so I’d be waiting probably 20 minutes or so. That was fine for me, until 40 minutes went past I started wondering when I’d be seen, I was still happy to wait at this point so I asked the receptionist and I was told I was next. It had now been 60 minutes and the doctor comes out to find a patient, which wasn’t me considering I was next in line, so I made the decision to leave and rebook my appointment. I was not happy one bit. If you’re going to have a wait of over an hour I don’t know why patients aren’t called before hand to be notified about a lengthy wait time. If I knew I was going to be waiting over an hour I would have just rescheduled. Extremely disappointed with this experience.
Dr Kal is great to talk to and discuss concerns with. He is thorough and compassionate. One of the best GPs Ive seen.
While on holidays in the area, I developed an infected leg from a surgery that had recently been performed at home.Based on a recommendation from a local, I attended Doctors At Nerang and saw Dr. Yousuf.I could not be more complimentary of Dr. Yousuf and the brilliant nurses and staff at the clinic that I experienced over the week that I needed treatment. Super efficient, professional, supportive, caring, etc., etc. Nothing was too much trouble !!Thank you so much for taking such good care of me. (Im looking forward to hearing that Dr. Yousuf and his team are moving to the Sunshine Coast.)
To be honest the most important thing to me is that I can book a phone consultations with my doctor if it is necessary and also digital reminders about appointments, time of injections and so on is very useful for me.
Ive been going there for years and they listen and do look after you unlike some doctors where your treated as a number recommend 5 stars
I was guided by close friends to change my Doctor. They highly recommended I go to Dr Alam.I did & found him to be EXCELLENT, very knowledgeable, polite & very professional.Dr Alam showed me a good deal of patience, genuine care & understanding. He explained my health issues clearly & had the ability to have me feel comfortable even when I was discussing my private matters with him.His Office Assistants, Amber & Venus, I found to be lovely, efficient & very helpful young Ladies too.I am ever so thankful to my good friends for giving me the right guidance.Dr ALAM - DOCTORS AT NERANG.
All nurses are kind and very friendlyI met Dr Ali Solymani he is nice and gentle also good listener and care about pensionAlso Dr Hassni is professional skin surgeon
I have been a patient at this surgery since 2012 and see Dr Haseeb Alam. He is so caring and always has time for his patients whether its a simple or more complex issue. Through my journey of chronic pain and an incurable kidney disease, Dr Alam helps me find the positive views and is a great support.
I’m very satisfied with my doctor and all of the staff there there fantastic
Quick appointment for flu vac (painless) and an unscheduled removal of a suture done elsewhere. Nurses only too obliging.
Dr Ali is amazing, he always makes me feel super comfortable and offers expert advice.
Skin cancer Doctor is very knowledgeable on skin cancer and is always professional and friendly
Spent most of my appointment staring at the doctors back she hardly spoke and didnt seem to care, truly made me feel like I was wasting her time
I think the doctors and staff at Doctors At Nerang provide great service and I feel that they go above and beyond to be of service. Thank you.
Waiting 30-40mins for an appointment???? Not sure how this practice operates with such long wait times???
Great bunch of Doctors and supporting staff at Nerang Mall. Highly recommended.
Doctor soleymani is a great doctor and I highly Recommend this practice
Highly recommended. I was their customer for about 7 years. My GP was Dr Kalantar. Highly recommended GP, knowledgeable, experienced, patient and ...Thanks Sr Kalantar for your kind support for the last 7 years.
Great, friendly staff.
Fantastic doctors and nurses, friendly and helpful receptionist. Been coming here for a long time. Very handy as they are open 7 days a week, and even bulk bill in the weekend. Can still get an appointment on busy days, just a little bit of a wait.
The doctors, especially Dr Soleymani, are very courteous and friendly. Practice staff are really helpful and go above and beyond. Nursing also fabulous - I didnt even know I had been given my flu shot yet.
Standard doctors
“I was very pleased with my experience at Doctors at Nerang. I once had an appointment with Dr Haseeb Alam for the first time, I was impressed. It was good to be treated with professionalism and care. His kindness made me feel at ease. Caring, smiling is good atmosphere for patients.Dr Alam and all the other employees made me feel that I was in safe hands.I appreciated his follow-up and willingness to answer questions also. I highly recommend Dr Alam to anyone who have had bad experience from here. I have referred others to see Dr Alam and all are very pleased. As well as the front desk staff were pleasant on all the visits I made to the clinic.
I have been a patient of this practice for a long time. I cant thank them enough for amazing service. they are amazingly friendly and professional. they always there for us 7 days a week. I strongly recommend them to all my family and friends.
I’ve been seeing Dr Alam and he has always gone above and beyond to help me. This was my wife’s family doctors growing up and she didn’t want to change even though we live 25-30minutes away. The receptionist know us by name and always make us feel welcome. Sure sometimes we wait a little longer but the service is too good to pass on! We will always come here!
I have been going to this practice for a year now. The staff are very professional and helpful. This practice is very flexible and open 7 days a week. The doctors and nurses are reliable. I take my baby for his immunisation because they have two nurses at the same time. Very happy with the team.
I just moved to Nerang. I have heard very good reviews for Drs @ Nerang Mall form my neighbours. Visited there for my 11 months old . Very lovely staff. Dr. was lovely. Very satisfied with the service.
I have been using Drs @ Nerang for more than a decade. Dr Alam is my Dr. Yes, sometimes the wait times are a tad long - but thats par for the course with Drs & hospitals. Very happy with the care I have been provided with from this service and Dr.
Amazing
I’ve been going here for the last seven years and won’t be ever again nor will any of my family.I’ve been sick twice in the last six months and the first time I was misdiagnosed by one of their doctors. I wouldn’t have gone back if it’s hadnt of been for the long history I have with this clinic.I’m now sick again and went to the doctors over the weekend. The doctor I got took one look with the light, never checked temp or anything, before writing a script and sending me on my way.My condition started getting worse even on antibiotics and have now gone for a second opinion at another doctors only to find out that the first diagnosis was completely wrong, I was on the wrong antibiotics and the wrong dosage for that type of antibiotics anyway. Will never be going back here again.
Hit and miss depending on the day and on which doctor you see. Personally I have found the most knowledgeable, efficient and pleasant doctors at Nerang are Dr Kalantar or Dr Alam. The good: Efficient and courteous receptionists. Bulk billing practice in a central location in Nerang with extended trading hours. A couple of good doctors at this practice. The bad: Potentially long (an hour or more) wait times depending on which doctor you see, also a couple of the doctors have zero warmth or empathy, and can come across almost robotic.Nurses who carry out vaccinations are lovely, however, I have had conflicting measurements taken when it comes to my sons weight, length and head circumference. Doctors/nurses also do not complete the percentile chart in my sons Red Book, which has made it impossible to reliably keep track of his growth.
I can recommend to you the number 1 Doctor aroundDr Alam is a very talented Doctor ,kind and generous man that i can not recommend enough .
QAlways very helpful
I could not be happier .Dr Alam .has been my Doctor for 5 years and will not go to anyone else .He goes above and beyond ,kind and generous with his time but most of all he is a brilliant Doctor .When your sick or in pain, worried there is something wrong do yourself a favour .Doctors at Nerang have great Nurses and skin doctor and many other services , friendly staff and The best Doctor on the gold coast DrAlam
After being a regular with this GP for some time! Sadly he has now become, discriminatory, rude and is very abrupt, if you have had to see a different doctor in the past because you had an urgent matter and he was unavailable, i feel as though he does not listen to my medical problems/questions with sincere care.
I cannot believe some of these comments. Dr Hassani has been brilliant with my sister but as he has gone into specialist skin we have moved to Dr Alam and he is great as well. As for comment Re reception we have always found them helpful and polite. Been going years now except for a break of one year when we moved to Hope Island. Dr was great but reception so stuck up you felt you shouldnt be there. Give me Nerang every time.
Always a Professional experience, from Doctors, nurses and reception staff.
The doctor i had had no interest in helping me and refused to give me a script that i had been taking for many years for absolutely no reason. He clearly did not want to me and his attitude was appalling. the only reason this gets two stars because the reception and nurses were amazing!
Quick and Efficient :)
I have lived on the Gold Coast for 19 years and seen 9 different doctors in that time and Dr Haseeb Alam at Nerang Mall would be 100% the best doctor I have dealt with and I have been continuing to see him for 2 years now.I first saw Dr Haseeb Alam when I was very ill and he was very professional and have me in hospital within 2 hours which saved my life.
Bulk billing professional doctors surgery. Easy to get an appointment. Caring and friendly staff.
Saw dr fahimeh. Receptionist was lovely, only 15 mintutes wait but the dr had absolutely no warmth. No introduction no bye not even any eye contact, just given a script and on my way.she may have been having a bad day but you should not always paint everyone with the same brush. I work in a medical practice and none of them would ever treat someone like this, simply unacceptable.
Hour long wait times, grotty wait room, unprofessional administration and been given incorrect script dosages twice. Nothing wrong with the Blood test place next door. I have moved to Nerang Fair Family Practice who also Bulk Bill - Very Happy.
Very busy surgery .. reception stsff very nice
If I could give no stars I would. My very sick wife just went to see a doctor and he didn’t take her temperature, check her ears, blood pressure or anything. Useless. Considering she was having concerns about her heart. She was just told she had a virus and that her symptoms will pass on day 4...well they haven’t. They’ve gotten worse you moron. Go somewhere else. Don’t waste your time here.
Useless doctor, refused to prescribe certain medications despite their intended uses being benificial, including Imovane which is the only drug so far to have any kind of benefit to my own bouts of sleep/insomnia issues, even after they were told dozens of other medications and treatments have been tried and failed. Also refused to prescribe valium to my partner who has very bad panic attacks, even though she uses them responsibly and only when necessary, and has been given for these reoccurring issues by multiple other doctors. Would give zero rating if possible, waste of time.
Most of the doctors here are useless and when ive had a second opinion they were completely wrong. Dr hassani is the only good one Ive seen.
I went in expecting a competent doctor who knew what they were doing as I had booked off health engine which gave this clinic quite high reviews. Unfortunately I had to deal with someone who was not open to listening to my health issues and not willing to treat them accordingly. I am from Melbourne so I am not able to see my regular doctor - this doctor unbelieving of what I had said requested my doctors information from home which I willingly gave. I am not sure why he requested it as when I asked if he was calling/talking to my regular clinic, he said no and gave no further explanation as to why he was talking about me and my personal information with an unknown third party. The information provided to him seemed pointless as he refused to follow my own doctors treatment plan anyway. My clinic at home has been diligent and understanding in their treatment of me as a patient from the very beginning. I found this doctor to be closed minded, distrustful and very unwilling to fulfil his role of treating a patient. He has provided no help to solve the issue at hand whatsoever and I would highly recommend that ALL potential patients avoid this clinic, I know that in future I will!
I had to have my referral letter written 3 times as each time the address and/or the specialists names were incorrect: eg. was written to Dr Greenslopes, instead of Greenslopes hospital! I have seen several doctors there with two being totally beligerant and two who are very personable and caring. I have always found reception staff to be extremely professional and in the first example I gave they went out of their way to ensure my letter was eventually correct. In fairness, my husband notes one of the doctors I find beligerant to be up to date with medical conditions, but does agree he has no interpersonal skills.
Calling this practice is a nightmare. It has a horrendous phone system which is continually diverting your call to busy extensions. Getting to speak with the receptionist is virtually impossible. This experience is made all the more maddening by the 4 year old voice actor who keeps telling you that your call is important. When you finally reach the receptionist, if you mention the trouble you have had getting through, they will insinuate you are a bare faced liar. Expect massive wait times at the practice. Good doctors
My girlfriend booked an appointment at 9:20 on 19/5/20 and when we showed up no one was her so we expected to been seen shortly instead we waited for over an hour while he saw three other walk in patients so the 5 minute check up instead too out a good chunk of our morning together and all the receipts could come up with were just poor excuses, I will never again recommend this place and I will never return cause this experience has just been a complete screw around.
Zero StarIf you have children or are pregnant DO NOT VISIT THIS GP.- during my 1st and 2nd pregnancy trimester I visited a doctor in this practice , the female doctor never gave me a health book, rarely took my blood pressure and only did when I requested- she referred me for my ultra sounds and never called back to see me to discuss these, regardless of results- she never referred me to antenatal at the hospital- never discussed or contacted me regarding my results regardless of the outcome - I was pregnant and I deserved to be made aware -she never gave information I needed to know bout my pregnancy- I had to prompt her or ask- I had to start the conversation - she showed lack of interest - her communication wasnt clear and had to be ask repeatedly to explain and Clarify- my husband had gone in to see her with our sick daughter- firstly an incorrect name was written on the medical certificate and incorrect name on our daughters prescription, not even their names - my husband and daughter had to return to her THREE times to get these fixed- three times! - even our daughterwhos 8 realised that she had stated incorrect information - how unprofessional, lack of attention to details and we entrust her with our health- very poor of her work ethic- these shows her lack of care and shes servicing our communities elderly, disabled and the needy- she cannot be trusted with our healthPlease be very cautious when visiting this medical centre.
Dr Kal is one of the most supportive, professional, empathetic and knowledgeable Drs I have ever dealt with. I strongly recommend visiting him.
If I could give zero stars I would. Mis information about vaccines nearly caused me to loose my daughter. I was never offered to pay for a meningococcal vaccine which could have SAVED my daughter from contracting this disease. Misinformation is not something DRS and NURSES can be giving espically when people’s lives are at stake here!!! You can get meningococcal vaccines for your children under 1 year if you pay for it and it will be worth every cent my daughter is looking at years of rehabilitation and we are lucky that she is still alive.
