This place isnt like the standard British fish and chips were the fish is drowned in flavourless better and then deep fried to within an inch of its life.They serve a good variety of fish dishes both with and without chips. The variety will cover for those that want traditional curries and those that want western style menus.The food is flavoursome and the servings are plentiful.The restaurant decor is pleasing, and you have the option of sitting inside or outside.

Visited this place Last week, Ordered some beer, instead of beer offered some ciders and billed us each 800 plus, the sea food pizza tasted raw and not very pleasant to be there.

Not enough spices in the deviled dello curry

The main thing is this place is located in the right spot. I mean this place is nearby to all the bars , restaurants and the beach. All are within walking distance. The staff is very friendly. We had a refresh and delicious dinner and breakfast. The room and washroom are clean and worth for the money. But, management should consider repairing the washroom as soon as possible. I highly recommended this place.

Place has good ambience and i think the food can be little bit more tasty, may be the time we visited was off peak.. (September 5th) however, some of the food were nice and others were salty (that being a local :))

Please dont come here for breakfast. Without doubt worst meal I ate in Sri Lanka (possibly ever eaten in my life). Dirty dishes, oily veg mix that left puddle of putrid slime, eggs had burnt black bits from the pan. Even the tea was terrible... there are cloth napkins.

Not good at all. No cleanliness in the rooms. Poor food. Poor facilities. No tv. Although they say , they have. Staff is very unfriendly. Treats their guests terribly. No friendliness. Was really upset with the poor quality of food.If you are visiting Srilanka or is a local , I highly recommend you to avoid this horrid , ugly , dirty , expensive sorry excuse of a hotel. There are many good hotels with a lesser price and good quality food and all.WOULD NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!!!!AND NEVER WILL RECOMMEND!!!

Tourist Scam- the large pizza costs twice as the medium by is only marginally larger. Definitely not worth double the price. We would gotten more food by ordering two medium pizzas. When we pointed this out to our server we had a horrible customer service experience. He claimed he couldn’t do anything, it was up to his boss who was conveniently absent. We asked for his contact information and the phone didn’t reach. The server made no effort to support our concerns and we left quite frustrated. Do not recommend to eat!

This restaurant is thoroughly under-rated. So far, out of a week of rice and curries, the fish curry and coconut sambol here has been the best Ive had in Negombo (besting even better-rated restaurants on this site).An initial cocktail packed a punch, and the wine selection was not all Chilean or Saffa gut rot.The fish curried fish cutlets (plural) were thick and juicy, not dry or overcooked, as with other curries Id had. Okay, the three accompaniments to the curry were a bit plain, but not offensive. I also had battered cuttlefish; the batter was a bit dreary, but the cuttlefish tender and tasty.Eating inside under the fans kept mossies and road dust at bay.

Very good restaurant. They serve freshly prepared food. The crab with rice and the deviled pork were few of my favourites.

Excellent well run restaurant with a good selection of meal options. I tried and can recommend the Sri Lankan vegetarian curry. Real value for money.

Nice little restaurant, the food was ok, but the juice was really bad. Not smooth and no taste at all, because too much water.

The food was digesting and overpriced. The so called „pizza“ had nothing to do with the real thing. The cook probably never had real pizza in his/her lifetime.The dishes and silverware were dirty and the cloth napkin had stains on it and looked like it hadn’t been washed in a long time. Do not go here.

I have been many places in Negombo restaurant , but this is worst food experience ever had . Reason to comments like that is , found live worms in vegetable salad & fried rice having disgusting taste . Service is very poor . Not recommend this place to others who are looking for tasty foods & service .

Overall the food here was pretty nice. We ordered 1 large & 1 small pizza and these turned out well, the crust was a bit undercooked, but overall ok.However, we were the only people at the restaurant & it took over half an hour food to be served.If youre going to head there, just be prepared to wait a bit.

The food is Ok. But double check your bills, because local service pretty often forget about 100 - 500 lkr. It depends about your level of drunkenness. Yes, they serve alcoholic beverages...

Good place with great food. And the prices are average.

Prices on outside sign apparently different than on the menu and of course you have to pay the menu price. What a scam! And on top of that they have no problem with adding 10 percent service charge for delivering no service. Glasses were dirty and waiter was more busy watching his phone than helping his only guests.

Really good seafood! Try the shark steak!

Lovely pizza with higly rich topping

The food was good but customer service was not very! It needs much improvement.

Takes a lot of time to get the food on the table once you order. It took us more than 45 minutes. Service is not the greatest. I honestly feel the kitchen is understaffed, and the waiters are not very caring. Food was okay.

Ordered a pizza here, that was supposed to have asparagus, ham, tomato, onion and cheese. The cheese was hard, ham or whatever mystery meat was extremely salty, and the dough was under cooked.And they charge 850Rs for 50ml of Jonny Walker Red.The servers are incapable of communicating with you, in Sinhala and English, to explain whats going on with their menu.

Good meals and very reasonable prices

Food was good. First time during our Sri Lanka stay ice coffee without coffee grounds. Staff Sri Lankan average. We were alone in the restaurant - so the drink (two Coca Colas) should be earlier than 10 min after order.

I ordered tuna, there was big hair on the plate. Showed the waiter, no one said anything. Then they came up and offered to cook a new dish. They brought another, steak smaller in size. Near is full of different restaurants, you can change at least every hour. This place deserves one star.

The only good thing that can be paid by card. Dirty place and the sandwiches that we ordered one with one ingredient and the other with only two and of tiny sizes.

The restaurant chooses customers, which was outraged after the election did not give beer to shrimp and fish, foreigners came so immediately brought them! There are no words ....

We were not very pleased with the food.The staff is more sullen than usual, though I might just get used to the always smiling people.
