Some of the common birds that can be spotted here are little grebe, common coot, white wagtail, little egret, pied kingfisher, common moorhen and sunbirds. Trees at the park have boards with their scientific and common name. Some of the trees found here are Neem, Custard Apple, Bamboo, Singapore Cherry and Australian Thumma, etc.Along with being a perfect venue to just relax amid the refreshing greenery and fresh air, it is also a place adorned with many worth exploring buildings. While visiting, designate a few hours for the Hyderabad Museum / AP State Archaeology Museum, which is also located inside the garden. This museum boasts of an extensive collection of rare relics, artefacts, traditionally created art works, such a Bidri work and textiles.Along with this, it also houses objects from all the world, the most famous is the Egyptian Mummy, a gift to 7th Nizam from son-in-law of the 6th Nizam. There are also relics related to Buddhist and Jain religion belonging to the Satavahanas Period preserved in the museum. It presents a glimpse into the grandeur of Hyderabad history.There is also an ancient mosque Shahi Masjid inside the Public Garden complex. This mosque will captivate you with its unrelenting beauty. Its arches, domes, minarets depict the architectural brilliance of Shahi style.......
