Pretty average run down government office. The staff needs better amenities Feel sorry for them. The staff is helpful n cordial. The place isnt easy to locate for first timers. *Read this before visiting for learner license*If you are not applying through some driving school then please check that you have all prints of the application forms ( form 1 and form 2 etc) along with the address proof/ Id proofs etc. If they find you have not stapled the paper properly or some documents are missing then you will be forced to come back with proper documentation and join the new Queue ( wasting another 20-30 minutes).If you miss any paper then there are shops available there to take online prints and photocopies.The process is smooth and the LL test is easy if you read the online sample questions for preparations.Cleary there is no corruption now as the process has entirely gone online.

Officers & staff are very cooperative. They help & guide ppl to complete the process. Though resources are limited - no UPS for computer, entry in bad shape. Seems it needs funds to make it more effective and convenient for people

I recently visited Panvel RTO to apply for an International driving license along with a request for change of address. The initial steps required filing out information and uploading relevant documents on the official portal SARATHI. The process was very smooth and hassle free. My application was processed and moved to the scrutiny stage within 3 working days. I was then required to physically submit the relevant documents at the RTO office Panvel for further verification.At this stage, Mr. Gajanan Thombre (Asst. R.T.O) and Mr. Arit Shaikh (Sr. Clerk) helped me immensely. I was missing a few forms during submission, instead of sending me back all the way to Kharghar and asking me to come later, they took time to guide me and get the documents in order for verification. They made the process unexpectedly smooth for me. I was able to get my documents verified and the application processed successfully in a single day. Moreover, I also extremely appreciate the courtesy, respect and support I received as a woman who was trying to get a crucial job done all by herself.Thank you and please keep up the good work.

At learners licence A small enquiry irritates the lady behind the desk. She will blame you without any hesitation for their own errors. It seems to be a very agent friendly place to operate. If you go on your own you have to ask to fellow applicants for any queries, the people who work there are not in the mood to help you. The answers will make you question yourself why did you ask the question.

RTO OFFICE situated near panvel and kalmboli. Well categorized office of LL and PL license. Nearby there are lots of xerox shops which helps the applicant most of the time. Sort of fast process rather than other RTO.

The experience at Panvel RTO is no different than the experience at any other Indian government office. A few employees of Panvel RTO are actually good and cooperative, however, most of them have the usual lethargic nature. I have been seeking tax exemption for a couple of my commercial vehicles for quite some time now, about six months to be exact. A lot of RTO work and their respective payments have been made online but one still has to come to the RTO for certain specific works. So after six month I got the order from the RTO for the Motor Vehicle Inspector to inspect the vehicles and submit hs report. Now the inspector is not going to conduct the inspection on his own, I have to get in touch with him, talk to him and pursued him to conduct the inspection, even though his name is clearly mentioned in the order that he should carry out the inspection of the vehicles. Anyway, so, I did get in touch with him in this regard, but he says that he is unavailable for a few days, a week or so, and the the concerned RTO office is not willing to assign a different inspector for the inspection. So, overall, not a very good experience.

Went for Address and Photo update on Driving Licence through online application. The service was quick and easy.

The RTO area as it was, No Change at the Place where the Vendors have their Seats. Road inside the Gate is Horrible. It becomes very difficult to walk due to rain. No Covid19 Rules are followed at all. Very few People WEAR MASK on their face. Small area Crowd too much. That Needs more improvement. Its my observation.

I had visited for LL Test.Test conduct at backside of main office.Staff are not corporative. They just told you filled for is wrong, they are not explain about for.1. If you are going with any training school or agent then process will be smooth.2.Fill form no. 1 carefully if you dont Know then get help of internet and upload to portal again.3.Carry all original documents when you going to LL test.4. You must have online booking appointment for LL test if you forget then you can get same time on sarthi portal (Only if there is seat available)5 after 3 tried they proceeded my form smoothly, thats why Im giving them 4 point.6. Pay Parking available at RTO officeAfter tried 3 times I had proceeded for LL test.

Worst staff ever. Took 6 hours to print a simple Driving License extract. At other RTO it took 30 seconds to print one.Extremely lazy and inefficient staff.

In rainy season water dropped in office everywhere.no cleaness.Staff is not supportive.

Work style is still old school

I was carrying the documents which I uploaded in online application form as told in the Appointment Letter. But they were asking for the documents that they needed (see photo). What was the use of uploading documents in online portal if we have to submit the documents as per required in RTO office.They are not co-operative and they wont even listen to you if youre not carrying the documents as per their requirements.You will notice police officer who checks the documents who is RUDE, CORRUPTED, ILLITERATE, HOW SUCH PEOPLE EVEN GET A JOB IN POLICE

Experience was smooth, went for address change and booked an appointment online. The only drawback is they ask for 2 address proof minimum. The service was good and the person who was in the counter was polite.

Located at a very inconvenient place and in a very shabby building. Auto charges about 60 to 80 rupees from Nearby railway station Khandeshwar.

Very, inexperienced lathargic, lazy, rude, totally uncooperative staff. Unless you go through the agents getting your work done is very difficult. Toilets are very dirty, no water poor maintainace. To get one thing done theyll make you run around for days, weeks. Totally disappointing..

Not good experience. Paasing inspector coming at our relaxing time. Nobody provide full proper information.

Overall okay experience over there system takes to much time to proceed otherwise.

There is ambiguity between information provided on website and they actually ask.If you have registered agreement and mentioned that as your current address and mentioned permanent address separately. They will ask you to provide two address proof each i.e. 4.I dont know who are those people having any other document on their current address.I thought only registered agreement is enough but i was wrong.They will not be ready to consider any of your request so visit only when you are 💯% sure about your documents and information availability.

Pathetic, non smart as usual. Full of agents, who can easily catch you om entrance gate only.Good news is: All the permits, Licence expired lockdown has been extended till the end of March 2021.

This is the place where work without an agent is hard nut to crack. The office is run by non permanent staffs who unnecessary tries to find out out deficiency of the documents. Although RTO services are online, the officers here has entangled with old offline process. I had gone here today for DL address change. The person sitting on the window of appointment submitted my original DL without giving any acknowledgement. When I asked for that he replied that he never gave acknowledgement to anyone for DL submission. What a poor form of office run!!! I wish in the future RTO office works with official rules and norms!!!!

Services is really good... Its government so we cant expect more cleanliness and hi-fi building and all.. Its good.

Panvel RTO office has fair ambiance, but it is free of clutter and croud. The staff is polite and helpful. But there is very little parking space.

Typical indian government officeI wanted to get the hypothecation of my vehicle removed.They dont give the required info in 1 go.1st visit - I visited after making online payment on parivahan website and took the required documents that were mentionedThe office asked to get 1 more form filled.2nd visit - I approached office with the form. The office asked to get the same submitted to bank and get a receipt copy. Also they asked for stamp on form 35.3rd visit - the office asked to get xerox copies of few more documents and get a confirmation from another counter.Finally my documents were submitted.

Driving license-related services are managed here. Also, the learner license test is carried here.Whereas final driving test is carried out at a place adjacent to karnala sports academy HOC Panvel.Do take at least two valid address proof as they will ask for unnecessary documents which is not even asked at the RTO portal. However, people out there are helpful and cooperative.An important point to note is there is no parking available for people. So park wisely as the towing truck is continuously policing.For address change , fee of Rs 466 needs to be paid online.For four wheeler L.L, fee of Rs 151 needs to be paid if holding already two wheeler license.For four wheeler L.L, fee of Rs 201 nees to be paid as extra Rs 50 for online test if not holding any license.For four wheeler driving licence endorsement, payment of Rs 1066 approx need to made online.

I dont like Rto system. Because of it is frequently makes black coorrupt market. i. e. Agent are allowed by rto by commission basis

Good service but if you you cant do your work without agent help. They have not accepted my medical fitness certified by my family doctor, they need MBBS. I have to run again for MBBS doctor. After it , they reject my application due to original driving licence not attached. I ran home to bring my expire license.Again they reject application due to old doctor fitness was uploaded in online.I have loaded it again.Now they need plastic envelope to staple old license.Kindly carry all this, this is for your information.

In this pandemic situation, I had gone for my license work but there is no proper social distancing, no sanitizer and no rules followed for protecting each other from this virus. I didnt even feel like sitting on any chair because there was a person who took something from his mouth and wiped on the chair. Yewww!!!Too disgusting !!!The curtains were also having fungus on it, seems like they havent touched this place from a very long time...Take care for the people who are planning to go Panvel RTO !!! Keep yourself safe from unhygienic situations!!!

The whole building stinks as if you are entering one big public toilet. Is it that difficult to keep the office clean? Staff working there seems to be either a disgruntled or an overworked lot who, I guess, comes to work simply because they couldnt find any other gainful vocation. Please provide your staff with clean toilets with water in it.

Firstly I got an appointment of 10 am. The appointment receipt mentioned that we have to reach the RTO 30 mins before the appointment time. I reached there at 9:30 and could not see a single person. The shutters were half down. No security, nothing around. At around 9:45, the security came and started arranging table and chair. When enquired I was I formed that no one comes before 10:30. I waited patiently till 10:30 and some people started coming. At around 10:45 the enquiry counter opened and I was directed to the last counter. The person at last counter assisted me very nicely and my work got done in about 15 mins time. Had a good positive response from the staff. The only problem I faced was that no one arrives on time and that needs urgent attention.

Corrupt officials .You can never expect your work to get completed without making payment to agents. They will keep harassing you for documents and ultimately you need to take help of touts. This work must be outsourced to some private company
