Very old and divine place. Surrounded by natural resources. Lots of trees and a lake. Take the blessings of lord Shiva, sit and meditate. Can also walk around the lake and give food to fish. Highly recommended.

This is a very peaceful place to visit. Should visit after sunset.

The Shankar Temple is a very nice and spacious place and the surrounding garden is also very nicely decorated. There is a walkway in that garden.It feels great to walk here in the morning and evening as there is a waiting area for walking. There is also a clean pond next to it. But nowadays, it is very dirty to walk here due to the dirty Act of boys and girls in the morning and evening. Here the police administration has been neglected.

Theres a certain peacefulness in this spot that I particularly enjoy. The garden is well maintained and a lot of people come here during Mahashivratri and other occasions as well. Although its kind a couple spot, one can still enjoy the beauty of the place and relax.

Khandeshwar station is named be ause this old temple. Very old Shiva temple , surrounded with lake. People normally come here to relax & exrsize.

This is good place to relax and their is so much tree which provides cool atmosphere during summer season and also good sitting arrangements and garden ,khandeswar lake.this is attractive point of love one

This place is my go to place for having walks and praying as it is very calm and quiet here.The place was better before there were fountains,unique lightings,clean water and there was a place for turtles.But now,the fountains and lightings are never turned on or are not working(Dont know),the water has been polluted people even throw garbage,take bath and wash clothes in the lake,the place for turtles has been turned into a garbage bin and people throw garbage in it.

A beautiful lake park and walking area in this temple premises.You can enjoy a beautiful morning and evening here.

Temple is on a very unique and good location. You get peace in mind. I visited the temple last month spent a lot of time alone. it is a very good place to bring your kids and family members together or if you want to spend time alone this is the best place.

From the worship, devotee perspective it is a really good temple. Nice atmosphere, trees everywhere, the temple itself is really good. You even have area to Hangout with your friends.Now the other side of the story. Some over excited couple have turned the other side area of the temple into their private zone. Doing all sort of things creating discomfort to people coming for a walk aur temple visit.

Best place for morning walk

The Temple is famous. I am really happy that the surrounding area is being maintained so nicely since so many years. I make a visit every monsoon specially for a photoshoot. Ask me for those photographs if you wish.

This is old temple. Temple is surrounded by greenery. Lake is also good. Lake is having water throughout the year. I like this place.

Good place to Hang around, Lake view seating arrangements are there, the only issue is shaded place is very less in case of rains. It is well connected by road.

10years ago it wasnt such. Its concrete now, the paths around the lake, its is right opposite to the cidco garden.The path is laid around a lake khandeshwar lake, which measures to 450m.The fore-mentioned lake is a place for fishing, feeding the fish, as there are fish, cats are also there, cat lovers are welcome.The path is mostly filled by people walking/jogging, but the seating area around it is filled with lovers and dark spots.Its a good point for some and not for the other, but its compulsory to sum up the environment of the temple and the lake.

For all means it is a good place. We cannot find such devotional place in Mumbai

This temple is one of the oldest temples of Lord Shiva in panvel. There is a beautiful lake and a garden in the temple complex. There is a big yearly mela on mahashivratri day. People visit this temple from far flung places on this day.A good number of locals visit the temple every Monday.It gives peace and solace while being in the temple complex.

Khandeshwar Mahadev Mandir is a beautiful and sacred place.Here Temple of Shree Mahadev is established by local people and in front of mandir their is captivating lake.This place have so many trees surrounded to the area.It is also a comfortable place for exercise, yoga and morning walk.Inside the place their are two gardens ..One is open for all and another have ticket of Rs 2 only, Kids play in this premise.Many people also do fishing in the lake.

Nice garden made by cidco.No solar tree is working since last three years.A crowd of pilgrims and devotees is on the day of Mahashivratri.Police and local body of management makes good arrangemnts since last 3 to 4 years.Senior citizens and yoga group peoples are there for morning and evening walk.

A place to rest and enjoy lake view right on the Sion Panvel Highway.

Good ambience around temple on lake side. The garden walkway side benches normally occupied by immature couples. Every one has access to the inner most parts of the temple where people can pray. Some irresponsible devotees throw empty milk bags near the shiv linga, most of the milk put on the linga goes to drain in gutter. One or two stray dogs sleep inside the temple. And some so called devotees were seen spitting outside the temple area. But it is common in most places in Maharashtra.

The Shiva Temple is located in Khanda Colony Panvel. You can go here throw auto, bus, and you can easily drive your car or bike. The parking is lot of structure in front of temple gate. The temple is open in morning. The beautiful garden the also their in side of temple and small lake is their. This place is good to bring your kids. The mahashivrati is main function celibrrate here on every year Feb or March. This please is very beautiful and very piceful

Just a small place where u may find peace.

Very peaceful, green surrounding with lake. Historical Shiva temple. Every year mahashivaratri day, huge no. of devotees visit temple for darshan n offering Pooja. Enormous crowd and street market assemble at this place on that day. Since the place is on outskirts of Panvel city, on normal week days remain quiet and becomes an attraction to young couples.

Shiv mandir, garden and a small lake attracts the visiters.In rainy season lake has a quite sufficient water filled in it.In the holi Shravan month all the devotees come and fo lot og pujas like satyanarayan and rudrabhishek which keeps the surrounding atmosphere holy and refreshed.
