The sea side place is nice to view with family and friends, from Uran charfatha to beach the road is very poor and local transport available for reach to beach from uran charfatha ( single side sharing auto charge 10 Rs per person and directly hire autos charges Approximately 50 Rs )Near to beach there are few shops available for grab food (veg & Non vegetarian) available. Also approximately 20 to 30 vehicles parking place available.

Was my official visit I feel level of security should be improved with latest technologies.

It was a great industry and fully automated. Main products are LPG, Naphtha and C2C3. The food quality of the canteen is good and all the safety procedures are followed here and Engineers here explained everything very clearly to us.

However,its difficult to get someone to explain the sub units in the plant.Although there were excpetions who overdid the explaining part a bit.There are also training opportunities for Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation Students too...

I had undergone 8 weeks summer training in ONGC Uran plant in the year 2019.The plant is too large but I still covered each part of plant in almost 1and half month only. My mentor was Anappa Hosatti sir. He is unmatchable. His way of working inspires many young people of the industry. After joining the Uran plant people generally change their role models. Guess whom they choose. Its none other than Anappa Hosatti sir.I was in fourth year of my course when I did my internship from there. I was persuing Btech in chemical engineering. I actually learned designing of the distillation column, design of two phase seperator, checking performance of compressor and many other things other than plant and its working.ONGC training is unmatchable. People help very much if we show interest on our part. Must visit the nearby beach Uran beach if you are planning to undergo training in ONGC Uran plant.
