Amazing place !! One of the best ones i have visited. You can just go there and chill have your peace of mind. The food here is great and so is the atmosphere. Must visit with family. Would definitely visit again.

The hotel is only good for its view. The rooms are very unhygienic and dirty, very poorly maintained. The menu mentions a lot of food items which are mainly unavailable. You are left with very few options to order from. Also the food and rooms are charged highly for. The place is just not worth the price.The staff is very courteous.You may visit the place, enjoy the view, eat at the restaurant and return. Stay at this place is a big NO.

Please read the review: Giving only 1 star.Pros :View of room number 5 and 6 is the only thing what is good about these rooms as it is beach facing ( its the so called best rooms). We were in room no.6.Food qualityThis is the only saving grace of this propertyPet friendly.ConsImpolite staffs ( no greetings over phone or in person when visiting property or calling them)The staff is also careless in booking dates ( we booked our stay for 2 nights but Mr.Prabakhar booked it only for one night which ruined my entire birthday plan(beginning of August). The second time we booked two nights(30/08 and 31/08) again on reaching the property Mr.Prabhakar booked it for one night. Luckily it was a weekday so we got the room for another night. After requesting twice for a room keys we were not given.Very unhygienic place. The toilet was smelly, no basic sanitary provision like hand towel, soap, no stool to sit in the bathroom as shower is not working properly, sink was choked and not clean, water taps were dirty, jet spray handle was broken so it was lying on the floor. No place to keep the toothbrush because around the sink also it was so dirty. It looked like after making these rooms they have never done proper cleaning, no exhaust fan in the toilet.No control of people visiting property (random people coming and sitting outside our room and making noise). We had to call someone from management.Bed making squeaky noise, the blankets were old and stinking as if they have not been washed for years. Our india railway gives a fresh better linen and blanket. Luckily we always carry our own bed sheets, blankets and pillows whenever we travelling near by.They don’t have intercom and they use only bell. Most of the time they don’t come even when we ring the bell from the room. Only 1 small white bulb at the entrance of the room. No room cleaning was done on the second stay. The outside table was dirty with the rain but they did not bother to clean. We had to tell them to clean before keeping our food. Post that we kept cleaning whenever we wanted to sit outside. The staff Vishwa(not sure about his name) lied to us saying they don’t have desserts and gave the excuse of covid. Next day when we asked another staff Santosh(he was the only one who was polite, smiling face and was good at work) told us that they have ice cream.Post 9pm the kitchen is shut.The breakfast is served only after 9am. You keeping your guest hurry for 12 hours? If they have early dinner timing then atleast breakfast timing should be early. If water is needed in the night there is no one to ask for as the entire place was deserted.We completely understand we are outskirt of mumbai city( 59kms only, most of the FMs works properly), but this basic service is something what is provided by smallest hotels in smallest towns as well. We are not asking for some fancy room but basic hygiene is needed.It doesn’t look like the owner ever checks the place and have left everything on the staffs. For the money theyre charging its absolutely a joke. The room charges is 2,900/- per night(without tax). I will never go back and would never recommend this place to anyone.

Ltd is situated on Nagav Beach and at a distance of 4 km from Uran Railway Station.By ferry, One can reach Hotel Uran Plaza by taking a boat (regular and speed) from Ferry Wharf (Bhaucha Dhakka) in Mumbai up to Mora jetty in Uran. By road 3hrs from South Bombay and traffic it takes more than 4 hrs so plan accordingly. This hotel offers free internet facility for its guests.Hotel Uran Plaza Pvt. Ltd in Uran maintains 6 rooms. Some of the in-room amenities include wardrobe, makeup mirror, television, sit-out area, table and an attached bathroom with hot and cold water facility.Stay and Food seems to be little highly priced for the quality offered.Seafood is the best, Pomfret curry and pomfret fry was delicious. For vegetarians lovers, if you want to try local dishes which can be made,but need to be inform half a day earlier for better arrangement.Take precautions if dinning outside in the evening 🦟 insect might spoil your mood since rooms are very close to sea and they have lawn in surroundings.Sunset is the best view for sure from outside the room, but I visted during monsoon.They have great potential to grow in terms of development of property and services.Overall Experience was ok

The resort is a decent place to park yourself and you can have basic coffee tea sandwiches french fries. Not tried the lunch but he says they do serve it. Beer is not available as of now... Might be soon said the server. Its a good place of you are really bored of staying home and to top its pet friendly

Amazing stay and food.. Ambience is good

A good place to spend your evening but the last leg of the drive was bad! If one can survive that, the tranquility of the place would provide you the solace away from the hustle- bustle of the city life. There are not a lot of options in terms of food but whatever they served was good. Staff was okay but the service was too slow.

Extremely overpriced hotel. The only USP of this place is the view. It is beach front property.The room costs are around 3500 for 2 people. Food isnt included in the price. You have to pay extra for the food. The hotel rooms are not very clean and are much smaller than what is shown in the pictures. The bedsheets werent clean. The bathrooms are dirty and the water pressure is too low. The staff is mostly the locals of Uran who were ignorant of their responsibilities. Not even a bottle of water or clean sheets were provided.The food is not at all as advertised in their brochures and website. They barely have any items and know to cook only homemade food (despite showing western preparations on their menu). So if you see items like Akuri in the menu, know that its just egg bhurji(scrambled eggs). They also provide a tasteless chicken curry. Seafood items depend entirely on availability which is true, but be careful, they make tall promises on call and then deny when you reach there and ask about the same. We were promised Pomfret and lots of Bombil but didnt get former and hardly got latter.Now finally coming to the price. Very very expensive. Resorts generally charge more than restaurants but this was way too expensive. To put into perspective, 25rs for a Chapatti.90rs for bread omlette (And no, these werent eggs made of gold, just regular ones).Finally my suggestion to vacationors is to either stay here but arrange food from outside or stay at a nearby hotel by the name of Ruchira. Its a bit far from the beach but the service and rooms are excellent. Hotel uran plaza is a great place if your expecting some peace and a day out with your busy schedule so its the best place, the sea side view is mesmerizing and having a cuo of tea with your loved one will make the view more amazing.The only problem I faced was of electricity not available at night they told their is backup but I didnt find them managing.Or else the place is good and food is awesomeSo make sure when you visit please conform about electricity.

Almost didnt want to post this review. Its the perfect getaway from the hustle of the city. Cozy. Comfortable. Friendly owners and staff. Its not a luxury stay. But you will have peace. And a private beach to yourself. Very reasonably priced as well. Only beer is permitted and they expect you to respect others as well. Check out their website. The place will refresh and rejuvenate you. Decent food quality as well. Only 6 rooms as accommodation so not very crowded too. Its a hidden gem. Approach road is a little narrow for the last 400 metres. Google Maps shows the other side entry which will make you walk on the beach for a few hundred metres. Also if you go from that route, you cannot get your car all the way. This is the actual location of the place.

Situated on the banks of a beach, Uran Plaza is ideal for a one day trip. We stayed overnight, but the rooms werent great - Air conditioning is old and often trips. Food is good, though having to decide an hour prior on what you want to eat can be a little irritating. What I mean is, they dont have a running restaurant, you have to pre-order your meal which is served an hour or two later. Service is fine, dont expect professionals here - there are a couple of locals, who get the job done. Staff shuts and leaves by 9 pm, so not sure what one can do if there is an emergency in the night :) Overall, the property is good if you want to just chill through the day. Evenings, with mosquitoes around, youll end up being in the room.

Great place to spend the weekend away from your daily city life. Its directly connected to the beach so it is really good place for a peaceful rest. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff seem polite and friendly.

It’s good place bit would suggest getting there early as very few tables and also to have a very good driver as the inner roads through which u can reach is very narrow and fit for 1 vehicle car only and not any more.

Rooms were very unhygienic & stinking especially wash rooms, all the comode pipes were leaking, no proper maintenance done,cost of rooms & food charges were on a higher side, for a single chapati you charged Rs.25/- which is very exorbitant.

Hotel Uran Plaza:A destination for a perfect weekend getaway. The hotel has a private beach (a part of the uran beach). The property has greenery with coconut trees in the background making the view serene and unpscaling the beauty of the place. The rooms are clean and well maintained, Ill rate them average. The food taste delicious and tastes amazing, though the portion size is a little small but the savoury taste covers up for it. Travelling is an issue if you dont have a private vehicle of your own as there is no Ola & Uber service and private travels out there charge 2x.Booze is selectively available.

Good hotel, authentic food, peaceful place and an amazing view...what else do you want? Went for the second time and enjoyed a lot. Its just besides the beach so you can have the food with an amazing view. Little overpriced though but its worth it. Loved the place will visit whenever I get time again.

Its a good place to hang out with friends & family but eating can be a little hassle there as in the service is veryyyy slow, staff is way less than required and even food is not lip smacking, just ok. P. S - Talking about Veg food. Cant say about non Veg. Despite this, food was super expensive!!Secondly, the beach which is in front of this place is horribly dirty, apathetic to go there... I wish the owners would have understood to keep at least that area of the beach clean which is right in front of their property!!!Ohhh just dont ask about the washrooms!!! They are in apathetic condition too and nobody is there to clean them. They are dirty and they REMAIN dirty!!!

The hotel has its monopoly since its just at the beach. It has 6 air conditioned cottages which are quite decent. Outside the cottages there is a play area for the kids too. They can even play om the beach. The food of the in house restaurant is authentic and yummy. Its good for family and friends. You can sit outside the room and enjoy the sunset and the serenity. One can visit there just for a day or can even stay there for overnight

This place is so beautiful for the open front area of the resort. They offer rooms for overnight stay and have a great menu with a hint Portuguese because the man behind this resort is a young 92 year old Ex Army! Nice clean rooms and great service too.. You can also go there to just enjoy the evening with a pot of hot adrak chai by the sea! Watch the beautiful sunset lying on their hammock is just wonderful! This place is quaint and picturesque. Just love it!

The beach location is amazing considering its only 90 mins from Mumbai. Theres lots of open space too for maintaining social distance. The taste of the food is in its simplicity yet richness in flavour. In the afternoons if you are lucky you could bump into the owner - Vice Admiral John Perreira too!

All hotels followed same Rule..Atithi Devo Bhav:But, this hotel is exception for that.Staff Michael and Zarine pariera behaved very abusive with guests.Location is good, But it doesnt mean that you are owner of guests or you can use bad words for guests.For hotel location 10⭐..but, for behaviour of staff 1/2⭐..shame on HUP staff.Mr. Owner...Now, Dont give wrong explanations or wrong reason or unnecessary blame for more ⭐.

I didnt want to share a review, solely because I am selfish and want to keep this place to myself. But yes, its beautiful how the owner (the grandfather-ish uncle) has maintained the earthiness of the area, without turning it into a commercial garbage...Great views and super great seafood, but its best to give them a call beforehand and place your order, as, this being a home-style kitchen, it can take A LOT of time for your food to arrive. The best part is they make it all fresh, and it comes through in the taste too. The beach is black sand so not the best to walk on, but enjoy a lovely time by the beach, under the trees and on the hammocks...

Been here on a 1 day vacation with my friends. Beautiful place. Its total beach-side area with a lot of coconut trees, clean beach. You can spend your whole day there, without booking a room since there are free beds and benches, sleep-rests outside itself. Lots of breeze whole day. Only things you have to pay is for food and water. No outside food is allowed.Food is okay rating 4/5.You can play cricket on the beach, bring ball from home the hotel provides bats to play with. But make sure you go during low tide. There are many dogs here, mostly friendly ones.This place is good and i had a pleasant experience here. I recommend it to people who want a break and spend a day on the beach.

A very quite and secluded place for a retreat away from the city. The environment itself is calm and serene because of the beach right next to the property. You can go with your family conduct your office meetings. Enough place to play outdoor games. Average food but is cheaper compared to cities.

Good place for lunch and dinner

Visited the place today looking at the lovely pictures but was very dissapointed with the services. Nobody came to take the order and when they finally did we got to eat the food after complete 2 hours which to our greatest dissapointment tasted average. The person came on time for collecting the bill though. The property is very beautiful but only if they knew how to keep its charm.

Uran Plaza is the best beach facing property in Uran run by Admiral Pierres since time immemorial...The large outdoor sit out and awesome fresh seafood dishes make this place worth a stay

View from Resort is pure bliss. Food is good . But order wisely they take time to serve . Our second round of Rotis came after 15 minutes. But waiting was worth .

Good place for 1 day outing. Food is very good and have huge sea facing lawn. Rooms are not up to the mark however they are well maintained and clean.

Cottages are good, staff is polite, service is okay. Ambience and the nature view is very good.Little more concern is required over the menu, if planning for an overnight stay, else take your menu. The place is superb to enjoy the calmness of nature, the Seawind and you gets you a royal touch.Though I recommend an overnight-stay(again safety is a very big concern).

Dear Admiral Pereira,Michael,I am Michaels classmate from Campion and stayed at Uran Plaza in 1987 .Out of curiosity was looking at reviews ,descriptions of Uran Plaza both on your website and Trip Advisor.I must point to a review by Trip Advisor which seeks to praise the cuisine there but describes it as infamous!Unintentionally, of course,but, you might like to take it up with them.I now live outside Udaipur , Rajasthan and shall try and look you up when I am next in Bombay.All good wishes,Jyoti P

Just-about-ok property, but great location. Not a resort, more like a home-stay. Ample parking... Food is of average quality.

Do not expect like beach restaurants in goa. It is simple like resort near by sea. Beach is not clean so one can not enjoy it.
