Good service but asking ID was a surprise that shop shall avoid as it crosses personal data privacy space. Boys at shop don’t have option as they are told by the management to get the ID for purchase above Rs 5,000. Shop shall consider strongly not to get ID from customers.

While the sales experience was great (took time to explain and had a touch & feel experience before buying), the billing experience was very poor. The cashier Muthu, was very arrogant. The practice of forcing customers to share mobile number for OTP (without which they cant bill) is an extremely poor practice. The only alternative was to provide my email so they can email my bill after creating the bill in the back end (which is equally poor practice). When confronted with this, the cashier behaved extremely poorly and I wished I had not paid - else would have chosen a different shop. To the company Poorvika : Dont engage in such restrictive policies - give options for people to not have to share their personal info.
