Location where Meher Baba had an ashram built in 1937 called Sarzat. This is where his first western disciples came to experience life in India under the guidance of a guru.Amongst the visiters to this ashram were commodity exchange heiress Elizabeth Patterson, perfume heiress Norina Matchiabelli and Hollywood screen writer Garret Fort along with other notable participants.In 2002 a 10 unit condo building was constructed on the footprint of the demolished ashram housing.
