Really enjoyed the day at Blue Lagoon Water Park. The temperature outside was bellow 8 degree C but the water was still warm. There are 4 slides in the water park. Kids needs to be 1.1m to be able to go on the slides. One of the slides goes outside with two outdoor levels. Each outdoor level has a small pool to sit in and relax in. At the end of this slide there is a pool which I think is too rough for a child 1.1m tall. The other slides were fun for our kids. The main pool is a wave pool, comming on approximately every 30 min for 5 min. There is a small lazy river which also goes outside. Think the height should also be taller than 1.1 m for the lazy river. There are family changing rooms, showers, there are hair dryers. The storage lockers require £1 to operate but you get your £1 back after use. The larger lockers are on the womens side of the changing rooms. There is a small shop for sandwiches by the pool but we did bring in our own sandwiches.

Compared to our previous visit its just more run down, rusty metal and rotten wood everywhere not to mention loads of missing tiles in the pool and mouldy grout where the few remain! - considering the expansion in accommodation in neighbouring bluestone you would have thought the extra revenue would be invested in making this the best water park in wales- sadly not

Fun few hours out but the blue lagoon is in need of a bit of tidying up, its looking a bit dog eared around the edges! It was super busy, great to see.so.many groups of teenagers enjoying active activities but this appeared problematic in terms of mixing this user group with those with young families, older kids running on pool side and running into the water proved a danger for smaller kids who I saw getting bowled over. The experience would have been better had there been less people in the pool at one time, and if user behaviour had been more carefully managed by lifeguards.

Plenty to do to keep the kids occupied and good value for money. Note it can be packed depending on the time.Smaller children and babies have a separate pool area, a rapids river and a few slides for the older kids and somewhere to get a coffee or ice cream for the adults. Why not 5* then? It isnt as good as the Center Parcs pools; a bit smaller, missing some tricks like the kiddie life vests, better food and drink choices. Would recommend though and will likely visit again.

Booked online for a discount, which meant that our family of six, two adults four kids payed only thirty pounds. Absolute bargain. Its great fun and although it was very busy in there, the queues for the slides werent that bad.The only time it felt overcrowded was when the wave machine started and everyone piled into the pool, but actually that wasnt too bad either. The lifeguards are very attentive and have eagle eyes which is great and because they rotate often they are always fresh eyed, a very good system.

An indoor water park.An hour here is more than enough time.It has a few slides, a lazy river, a main pool and a toddlers corner and a jacuzzi. All pools are heated.Personally I was expecting more than what was offered especially being next door to Oakwood, the slides got a bit boring for my 11 and 12 yr old. And my 5 boy was 2mm short of being tall enough to go on the big slides, the slide attendant would not him go on, naturally he had the biggest tantrum ever especially as he went all the way to the top saw the slides and got excited to be told he cant go on and he was to big and old for the toddlers corner. Does 2mm really make a difference on a slide 🤔Just a suggestion blue lagoon staff/managers if your gonna quibble over 2mm then maybe measure the kids at the bottom so it is easier to get the child whos having a tantrum away from the slides. Like I said just a suggestion.Another suggestion also, for autistic children who are sensitive to sound, the wave alert is not ideal at all, my 5 year old is autistic and the staff sounded the air horn way longer than needed on 3 occasions before the waves even started, again causing him to have a meltdown through no fault of his own.Small cafe and vending machines offering drinks and snacks. Deck chairs available if its not to busy as well.I was only there for the swimming facilities. I cant comment on any other activity or facilities they have.

The blue lagoon is great for families we had an enjoyable time. We booked a certain time to go which is definitely advisable. It was very clean everywhere which was a bonus. The only downside for me(and being very picky) as you climb the steps for the slides you can see some of the metalworking corroding and the woodwork on the roof looks like the start of water damage. Just makes it look like its showing its age. Would definitely recommend

Great water park for young families. Dont expect to go swimming here though it is more of an area for splashing around and enjoying the waves (when they turn it on). Beware with very young children the waves can get large and I would advise moving to the rear when the hooter is sounded. Plenty of lifeguards so no worries about safety and changing area is clean.
