The temple is located in a quiet village. Very short drive from kone falls. The temple is surrounded by beautiful mountains and forest. At the temple entrance, there are a bunch of weavers selling towels, lungi, saree etc.. a bargain purchase from my point of view. There is also a rest hall maintained by TTD here which is very well maintained. No Poojas in the temple when I went there though the temple was open.

Lord venkateswaras one of the old temple. Very peaceful and pleasant place to visit near puttur town. Mostly crowded during Saturday morning hours. Coming the the architecture the temple is made with Stone and the architecture is amazing.Please do visit the temple.

Lord Srinivasa of Tirumala came to this place for hunting, so the God here (Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy) is seen with a sword. This is the birth place of Padmavathy Ammavaaru. The marriage between Lord Srinivasa and Padmavathy took place here. Even today we can see an enormous hand grinding machine here. Which is used to grind flour for the marriage.

This is the temple where Lord Balaji married Padmavati Thayar.Very old temple.Lord kalyana venkateswara having sword in his hand, during hunting time he met Padmavati Thayar.This is one such temple where you will feel positive vibration.There is huge turmeric grinding machine, grinding by hand more than 2000 years ago. They say during marriage of Lord Balaji and Padmavati turmeric was grind in that stone.You can get nice handloom products in Narayanavanam. Quality is excellent and price is cheap.

Lord Venkateswara swamy used to come here for Hunting (vettai) with a long sword on a horse and he found Ammavaru. Their marraige was held here. So whoever have issues in getting married or post marriage issues, come here and pray God early resolution. Swamy is having the long sword in the Sannidhi and Ammavaru Sannidhi is also there.
