This museum was founded in about 1974-75. Noted professor and scholar of Nalbari Sashi Sarma sir made a great contribution in collection of the stuffs of the museum. He brought different coins from different parts of the world of different time and rulers. The museum contains many old letters, different old and precious tools made up of different metals in different era. The entry to the place is completely free of cost and is a great place for students to learn about the history.The place is ignored by the government. The people working there are doing their job selflessly. Many things are not well maintained because of less availability to keep those things.It is one of the noted place to visin in the Nalbari town.
