Absolutely beautiful place

Peace full place, a lot more places around it which are good to visit. A calm city with no traffic problem at all, very economical hotels and food. Though roads are not in that good condition. Still people and places worth visiting the place.

An Ancient PondPakka Talab or Pucca Tank is a very old and ancient peice of Nahans history and the history of district Sirmaur. It has temples and Lakhdaata peer in the vicinity which are both very sacred places for all the people of the town. Now the Pakka talab has been recently cleaned and beautified and also had a new fountain installed. The fountain can be seen running rarely as the whole town is facing water shortage problems

Its a beautiful and historical tank. As per the belief Maharaja Sirmours elephants used to bathe in this tank.

Nice and cool place in summers visitors and locals visits this. Nearby locations are NARDA Motors, Shiv mandir, Lakhdata Peer Mandir, Rail tickets Booking counter. Municipal corporation office, Sainik welfare office, head post office of Nahan District Sirmaur. Dr YS Parmar Govt Medical college is also near to this place about 600 meters from here. On the southern side one street goes to Gunnu Ghat, mehlat and Bada Chowk. Main road goes to The mall road, hospital round and bus stand (ISBT).

Its quite good for being a part of hill like Nahan

Its lakhdata shrine, people of all religion pray here for fullfillment of their wishes. Pakka tank is also famous for aadikal lord shiva temple. In old days people use to take bath here. One famous fair bavandwadshi is famous of pucca tank in which lord krishana is prayed. Now one school which is for specially abled children also run here.
