Emotions are attached with this place... Memories from my growing up years are intricately woven!!!!! 20 yrs back VRCE had a formidable leather ball cricket team and were a good opponent ; going by the current pics it seems thats gone!!! they play soft ball now !!! The turf also is gone !!! It hurts to see my first turf grnd gone... Also, outsiders were allowed in the campus back then. With time that also changed ..... Love for this ground will always remain ❤️❤️..

Sports ground along with sports complex is added advantage to the complex of VNIT. Very well facilitated with all the amenities.Sports ground has football field and cricket field along with basketball and volleyball courts.While complex incorporates good standard facilities of table tennis, badminton and yoga rooms with proper lighting. Seamless wooden floor edge to edge require gum sole shoes(mandatory) if u want to use the complex.Only for VNIT students and staff.

It is a really beautiful playground with a lot of greenery.It has a basketball court,a football ground,a cricket ground,a very modern sport complex and lot more for all the athletic activities.Its track is approx 370 meters,that is really a good length for a track.

Good quality ground with a 500 MTR track , although not marked but one may just run on the mud / green . Typically allowed from 0530 to 0730 hrs on Sundays they allow even after that.

One of the best grounds in nagpur, well maintained and with a proper grass level and football nets.

Theres no restriction for outsiders to use VNIT ground till 3pm but after that only jogging track is accessilble as VNITs official sports teams are practicing/attending the training session in between 4pm to 9pm.

This VNIT Sports Ground. I Enjoyed playing many sports here. You can find facility for every sport.

VNIT cricket ground is host to not just cricket games but also quite a few other sports like Football, Athletics etc. It is used both by VNIT students as well as by external parties on rental basis. The most memorable event happening here is KRIKMANIA - Nagpurs biggest and most professionally organised inter collegiate cricket tournament! Also, the annual Alumni vs Students cricket match is a delight to be part of :)

Excellent place to have outdoor sports at VNIT. But then the level of the ground is not flat seems to have ups & downs. Have to improve the maintanence works
