Nagpur is a growing city but the airport not much impressive. Building looks very old. Check-in and security checking areas also looks dull. They are managing 1to4 Gate in a small single hall. All the seats in waiting area almost expired.(Cushion) Better to keep escalator always stopped,if you cant put some oil for the chains and bearings. Already the waiting hall is noisy dont make it more. If Baba saheb Ambedhkar have any option to take out his name from this property, he may do it at any cost.Dear Airport management team, you got an amazing property with highly respected persons name. Please be respectful at least to his name... please.

Dr. Babasaheb ambedkar international airport. Which is nagpur Airport is really good. Ambiance is good, clean, security, system, parking, food corners, everything is just perfect.

All employees behaviour is good. All TV screen are working properly which shows the flight details. Board Indications was there for check in, counter, etc. No issues I faced till now in this airport.Have a great journey ahead :)

Nagpur International Airport. Very clean and secure. Excellent location. Not much traffic nearby. Availablity of nice hotels around. Excellent place. Staff is very helpful and cooperative.

Please have more space to board the passengers....also have it more hygienic...have sanitizer station 🚉 available at various places

Small airport, you dont have to rush like delhi airport.You can communicate to security, inquiry etc people are helpful.There are restaurants, bus for passenger, metro for passengers.Cutting 1 star as my baggage came very late many times.Ground staff came once and asked passengers to carry only their own luggage, which is funny.They can manage these things as crowd is less

4 out of 5. Its a small airport with some good shops to keep you busy. Being small, the place looks very crowded.

The airport needs to be updated with modern facilities. Runway is good, but no docking entry or exit. Cafeteria inside airport was closed and no facilities at all over here. Even the Ola/uber cab drivers ask for 80₹ parking fees when you book a ride.

Increasing capacity day to day.. hope Nagpur airport will be soon large international airport.

Nagpurs Airport is very convenient and the fact that it is not a silent airport ( i.e. announcements are conducted for upcoming flights) makes it even better. It is not very much chaotic. Food courts are available at appropriate distances.

Nagpur Airport compared to rest of indian metro airports is small but developing at fast pace to international standard. Facilities available inside Airport is worth. Eateries are available at decent price. Announcements are very clear. Security check in is fast. Outside parking lot is huge to accomodate many vehicles. Metro station is nearby for going to city. Many standard hotels are available near highway.

The Airport was very clean because its very small airport, we dont have much to shopping here. Best for domestic flight, Nagpur airport near to the city, cab taxi Ola are easily available. Food and beverages on the airport quite cheap and hygiene.Great experience at the small airport.

Decent small Airport. It has few food & beverage outlets, such as Haldirams. There were 3-4 shopping outlets. A Bar & a lounge (both closed). Security Check in was very fast. Here you have to carry printed boarding pass.

A small airport compared to others.... But fully adept for handling large number of passengers....It has a functioning lounge just when you enter, which is cozy enough but not on the standards of the ones in Mumbai or Delhi....The Security check in and boarding is usually an hassle free process compared to chaotic ones in other cities....I have entered the airport 10 mins past the boarding time and was still able to make it to the last bus comfortably....

Such a huge domestic and international airport! They respect age. Offer seat to the aircraft by internal vehicle. Excellent!!

Small terminal still managed by Airport Authority of India. Limited options available for refreshment and snacks. Most of the time you will experience frequent gate change announcements so be ready to pick your luggage and rush.

Had a flight to catch the previous day. And the airport is not at all maintained. No proper announcements made before departure. Waiting for GMR group to take over for the renovation work. Also quite high charges for 4wheeler parking. No direct daily flights available to cities like Kolkata. Cafeteria outside isnt really good. No much options inside the airport for eateries or shopping. Also, if youve an early morning flight to catch or arrival, the washrooms probably locked till 8am. Nagpur really needs a developed airport...

The transition from entry till flight is smooth they also have self baggage tags kiosk so thats good and the airport is clean.

Quick and Smooth transition from arrival to Departure. Rates for food at this airport compared to any other Airport is less. There is no lounge though.

I feel there is possibility to further development and improvement in this place, request authority to think in this matter. Hopefully I will be able to see in near future.

Sharing some memories here, simple and decent airport.

The overall time required to complete boarding process and security check is around 30 minutes. So one can plan their arrival accordingly. The airport is neat and tidy and the staff is helpful. Improvement can be made on washroom cleanliness and hygiene.

Small airport, staff werent strict about people wearing masks. Shops present at the waiting area where u can buy things thats special in nagpur.

Very Bad experience, we reached at Airport at 3am and it was closed. We have to wait till 4:30 to go inside.

It is a small neatly maintained airport and located approximately 7km from the city, Online cabs, offline cabs and auto were available to get ourselves dropped in the city. Small outlet with ready to eat items like biscuits, chocolates were available.

All process and smoothly carried out by Airport staff, good hygiene was maintained across the place.

For airport pickup they charge Rs 100 for rental cab (Ola/Uber). This is an entry fee. Not a parking fee. This is unjustified and unnecessary. Already Uber charged us Rs 372 from airport to Chatrapati square. This is additional Rs 100 we had to pay at airport just for calling cab😡

Nagpur Airport was commissioned in the year 1917-18 and was operated by Royal Military Force, Indian Air Force, National Airport Authority and Airports Authority of India till 2009. This airport was named as Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport in 2005 and the first scheduled international flight took off from this Airport in October 2005.In order to remove the development backlog of Vidarbha, Government of Maharashtra decided to develop Nagpur airport as a Hub airport for both Passengers and Cargo Accordingly, in the year 1999, this project was assigned to MSRDC. On the directions of the Government of Maharashtra, MSRDC conducted the Techno-economic Feasibility Study (TEFS) through a consortium of consultants led by M/s L & T Ramboll in the year 2001.

It gives small airport vibes. Internal facilities can be updated.Better seats, charger, lounge area etc arent there.

Its a very convenient and well maintained airport... Though it is not big airport.. Connectivity to national and international is Good with connecting flights.

Beautiful and well maintained Airport , Most Liked Thing is The Statue Of Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar On Entry Gate Airport.

Airport isnt maintained properly also bathroom cleaning is not so good. Worst thing is while you come out of airport and see for OLA or any taxi then they charge you 100rs cash extra other than your airport premium fare. Lets say if you want to book OLA for somewhere 3km from airport then OLA fair will be 130+100=230rs again OLA cab driver will ask you to pay more 100rs as a parking charges. This is cheating done by all taxi and Ola drivers in this airport. If you come out of airport area by walking 1km away at nearby metro station then you will get OLA in 130 rs for same destination. As well as bus and metro may charge max 30-40 rs for that destination. Management should look in this loot of OLA and other all taxi drivers.

Must be one of the smallest airport in the country. Even the smaller cities than Nagpur have better airports and better connective. Washrooms are very basic and not nicely maintained. Also, very few airlines operated, airlines like Spice Jet, Alliance Air, Air Asia , Vistara doesnt operate from the city. Looks like Nagpur is not a good market for aviation industry. Direct flights for cities like Lucknow, Vizad, Cochin, Chandigarh, Patna, Surat, Nashik etc are missing.Doesnt have much eatery options hardly 2-3 counters are there forget about the shopping in your waiting time.Wondering how people are giving 5 star to such airport.

Needs a lot of improvement in this areaTaxi service in general in the city is below average so that spoils the experince on arrival as well at the airportBaggage belt system needs to change as letting bags roll down the slide causes damage to belongings of passengersInternational Airport that doesnt have smoking zone!! Although Smoking is banned in Singapore still Changi Airport has smoking zone. But Nagpur as always tries to be different where not needed!!

My visit in Nagpur from Kolkata using this Airport. Small but in great experience. Before parking lot there is Echo area of talking. We love the experience.

Best thing is PV Narasimha Rao Expressway, that directly connects Airport from city without any hasel or other problems, you drive above your city to Airport, it is great with all the facilities like ATMs, brands like Subway, KFC! etc etc..

Nagpur City is located at the center of India, this city is an important hub from the connectivity point of view. Nagpur railway station is a major junction for most of the north-south train routes. The airport in the city is also quite impressive, well built with superior infrastructure. However, it seems it does not utilize up to its full potential. There are not many flights from the city therefore not major rush here. I took the newly introduced Nagpur-Chennai Indigo flight this week, and like any Indigo flight, it was full. Similarly, this city should be connected to other major cities in India. This airport has all the modern facilities with all the necessary space to house enough passenger. The approach road to the airport is easy with enough parking space. The security is plenty, the terminal is well spread out and well maintained.

Nagpur airport for both domestic and international flights.Airport is approx 1km inside from wardha road airport metro station. No extra charges for pickup or drop if your time is less than 5 min, otherwise you have to pay 60 rs for less than 3 hours parking.Ola uber facility available from outside, hence parking charges will be included in total fair. If you can walk for a km from airport to wardha road, you can save something.

It is ok, aero bridge should be available on arrival departure, overcharging by cabs and taxis is a bad experience, parking charges are taken extra even though their official charges are included by in the fare. Its double charging practically. Just for a 4 km ride 300 bucks taken by the taxi fellow , some control must be there.
