One of the best mining projects of government of India. A huge perimeter which encompasses the mine, offices and staff quarters. Although most of this is restricted for public there is an old fort which was found under a hill and it is a treat to explore the archeological greatness of ancient India. You will be charged 25rs to visit the fort which is worth the time and money if you are interested in architecture and archeology

Munsar MOIL Ltd is the largest producer of manganese ore by volume. The company produces high medium and low grade manganese ore. Also they produce manganese dioxide and chemical grade manganese ore.
