During my visit to Nagpur for my best friends engagement I had been to this restaurant for my dinner before I border my train. This place is very close to Nagpur railway station. We had ordered mutton sheek Biriyani. This was served in a clay pot. The mutton was perfectly cooked. And the rice quantity was sufficient for two.

Taste Is Worthless, Rotis Are Not Properly Backed Butter Milk is not a butter Milk its a Curd PBM is mixed of tomoto sause and paneer pcs papad not properly backed and fried papad is fried in Cold oil

I always considered moti mahal for food quality. But this time it was really pathetic.Partially cooked chicken snacks and more salty PBM. Bad experience this time. The best part is, the waiter was not in a mood to accept.

Visited this with my family today, heres our experience!The Good: The Ambience is really good. The seats are comfortable. The staff was wearing face masks with face shield along with gloves. Hygiene was proper and we were sanitized at the entrance.The Bad: The food left us disappointed. Yes it filled our stomachs but it was not good. Heres the following things we ordered and how they were:1) Chicken 65 - We ordered Chicken 65 to start our meal and the taste was good, BUT the chicken pieces were unevenly cooked. For example, i had 4 pieces of chicken in my plate and 2 of them were juicy and perfectly cooked but the other 2 pieces were dry and chewy. The green chutney with onion salad accompaniment was nice.2) Handi Chicken - The Chicken was way overcooked and it was dry. The gravy was slightly less thicker than required. The taste was good but a bit mild compared to other places serving the same dish. We ordered a full Handi Chicken, it came with 8 pieces of chicken and a good amount of gravy to feed 4 people properly. Handi Chicken is our regular order in restaurants and this one was quite disappointing.3) Butter Naan - It was good, slightly less butter but okay.4) Jeera Rice - It tasted good with the gravy.Overall: Quite disappointed with the food since weve heard a lot about this place since years now and finally experiencing this was very disappointing. I didnt even take a picture of Jeera rice because i was already disappointed with the food that my enthusiasm went away If you wanna fill your stomach and want to click good pictures in nice ambience then this should be your go to place. If you wanna enjoy good food maybe not the best place.

Had a pretty bad experience, the restaurant is very mismanaged, poor ambience (no proper ventilation, AC seems like not working) and over all this, its a very costly affair. Any portion of the main course is not even sufficient for two. The long gained reputation of this place is definitely at stake and the restaurant needs to improve.

Worst, I never had butter chicken biryani this worst.I ordered for butter chicken biryani and what they served me jeera rice mixed with little butter chicken, I mean how could anyone server jeera rice with name of butter chicken also the rice was not basmati.

Not a big fan of Moti Mahal.Lets look into the details.The ambience is good.Interior is good, well designed keeping in mind the modern generation.Fully ventilated seating space.Service is quick, but waiters demand a big tip.Food is not that good when compared to other leading hotels and restaurants.It is moderately expensive.We ordered Chicken Malai Tikka for starters.Mutton Rogan Josh, Kheema Saoji, Chicken Dhaba, Dal Tadka, Rice for Main Course, accompanied with Butter Naan and Tandoori Roti.We were a group of 16 people and the bill was 6492₹, that was quite impressive.There is valet parking so no need to worry about youe vehicle. But yes the parking space is a serious issue when you are planning to throw a big party for a larger group of people.Overall, a good dining experience for me.Hit like if you liked my review.I believe in giving genuine reviews.So do support me.

One of the oldest renowned restaurant of nagpur. Ambience is good after renovation. I went there with my family for dinner , we ordered tandoori chicken which was their specialty and I found that up to the mark . Main course was also good we order some mutton dish and that was fine . Staff is polite and cooperative. Over all experience was good. Will love to visit again.

Moti Mahal is a very nice restaurant. The ambience is nice it has become much better after the recent renowation. The food here is very very tasty . The staff is very well behaved. They have amazing butter chicken and Jeera Rice . I personally recommend the Moti Sweet Dessert which is their speciality. The only point which I feel is a minus point is there is no parking allotment for the restaurant. You might have to park somewhere nearby or on parallel road and come here for dining . Beware of Jammers in peak hours though. They have dining , take away and online ordering too.

The food quality has utterly deteriorated. The curd used for raita was stale. They didnt even have chilled water. The cutlery too was not washed properly.No maintainance at allNever visiting this place again!

Fabulous chicken and mutton. Do try Tandoori chicken (juicy, muah) and Mutton Rogan Josh! The biryani is not biryani but pulao....but delicious.

Quantity is less but taste beats all the odds!

I used to go to Moti Mahal about 30 yrs ago. I went after many years today. We ordered Veg Crispy & Hariyali Paneer. Didnt like anything. Paneer was short on Salt & Veg crispy was sweet more. I would need more reason for going back again !

We ordered vegetarian combo of paneer and daal makhni along with naam and we ordered extra roti along with it through zomato.We received the sabzi daal and roti in good condition good quality and taste but the extra rotis were not rotis but TANDOORI CHICKEN. We dont even allow egg in our house and they gave us chicken. TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTED. As the package was in a single bag as it is from the restaurant which had all the items the restaurant should be more critical and conscious about all these things!
