According to me this place should come in top 5 places for morning/evening walks!!but even though this placed is blessed with such a scenic landscape! this place is quite ignored by nagpurians!& government too!😓😓only the people who live nearby to this place visit here!so i will suggest you to visit this place once in morning or evening!!if you ask me, evening will be the best time to visit here! you will able to see a beautiful sunset! with the lake view!!!!only i feel that, their should be the small fencing on the border of lake!this might be quite* dangerous for small childrens!also their should dustbins on specific distance to prevent people from throwing garbage in lake!apart from that everything is fine!their is dedicated track for jogging! so hou will dont have any problems!

It enableSONEGAON Lake!A perfect location in the city to have a peacefull evening !Also a best place for a routine natural cardio!It has been a historical background since the Bhonsales of NAGPUR who built this in order tp quench the nearby Mango farm, AAMRAE, !It came out to be a well known local spot for social gatherings , meetings!At this era it doesnt suffice any water related means, but enables to give a quiet beautifully decorated water habitat!Not more types but a few set of urban aquatic birds are seen!Two temples,One of Lord Ganesha!One of Lord Hanuman!Are a sight of holy importance!The barricading of metal has been done in the recent 5 year in order to avoid any nasty mishaps!NMC prior 3yrs from now built an Artificial Pond for the Immersion of Lord ganeshas idols as it being a threat to the lake!There are no taxes for the entry or any strict regulations regarding the lake!But a small Police chowki in order to avoid mass social meeting (thanks to Covid), and suicidal attempts !The lake is also seen to haelve a quiet decent amount of aquatice livestock!As there is a large amount of local fishermen seen out there!At this date, the lake is lucky as it is not infilterated by local vendors or food stalls which create a menace of garbage,etc!This place is a good destination amongst the urban Nagpur to have peacefull evening and a rejuvinating morning!

The lake is beautiful and clean compared to other lakes in the city. The location is somewhat interior and it better to navigate through map if you never been here. There are no hawkers around which keeps the lake clean from unwanted waste and dirty affairs. There are 2 temples at the bank with sitting benches. The fensing covers the lake walkways, but the lake is open so be alert when taking kids around.

Nice to see the lake brimming with water after a long time. Civic body and local NGOs have done a good job of rejuvenating it. However, citizens still throw a lot of garbage into it, including liquor bottles, which is a shame.

The place is very soothing. Quiet and refreshing. All you need a group of members with you to enjoy. People also come here for walking. Nice place for family and friends to come and enjoy the sunrise and sunset view. It is located inside the city but it is very calm and good for relaxation and refreshing the mind. I would give it 9/10

Decent lake side. Very silent and pleasing atmosphere. Ample benches to sit, much less chaotic than Ambazari lakeside and Futala lakeside as only decent people visit here and not the chhapri nibba nibbis..!
