Visited this place on 19 January 2021.This restaurant has Self service.Basically it’s open Garden where you can see it in the traditional style of setting.Every day restaurant has a separate menu, you could pay a fixed amount and eat as much as you want. There is Marathi, Punjabi an Indian food in choice. You need to collect a token for the food and then give it to the counter for the plates and Sweet. It’s best for family and friends outing.Best suited for dinners.Music is also runs in the background. You can visit one you will like it.
Its very good hotel where you will get traditional Maharashtra food every one those who visit must visit once
I was a nice experience for a family dinner. Food was Good. Desi Style.
Food is nice..in day time the seating arrangement is uncomfortable. It may become hot if didnt get seat under can.
If you want to enjoy Authentic Maharashtrian food this place is perfect for you.
Bad food, crowded place, not customer friendly atmosphere..plz do not waste your time here
The place is so fresh and happening- the food and songs playing in the background feel awesome.I loved the food but my diet is very low so I could not eat everything that they serve(they have Maharashtrian food too)- I would love to visit more.It is an amazing place for large groups. I would recommend my family, friends and everyone who is reading my review, to throw parties here.
Being a Bengali it was very difficult for me to even get into a pure-veg restaurant. But the food here was really good. More than that the ambience you get here with your family/friends is very joyful. We decided to go here for a happy evening for our upcoming event in our family. Most of the cuisine are in the pictures below. A lot is remaining.Enjoy your day at Vishnuji Ki Rasoi
Authentic Maharashtrian thali and choice of Punjabi sabji Dal stater and much more, delicious food wonderfully located good ambience self buffet style comfortable seating
Buffet system, simple food. Worth going here with 300rs per person budget.
Beautiful ambience, good for small kids and large groups and small functions too. Only Marathi buffet is available. Food tastes good. Not much to choose from.
The price is 400/- per person, but the food is not so special. Infact the food was very much similar to any wedding buffet you can find in Nagpur. Other restaurants serve similar food at 200/- per thali (Unlimited)
A lively place full of bustle. Delicious food and great concept.

For folk familiar with traditional style Marathi food, the experience of eating here will undoubtedly instil nostalgia. Food is cooked fresh and the restaurant being a buffet, one can eat to their heart’s content. The atmosphere is generally relaxed and one can expect a loud yet welcoming environment. However, because of the nearby lawns where gatherings/parties occur frequently, a cacophony of loud disco music often overpowers everything else.To conclude, Vishnuji Ki Rasoi is an incredible throwback for many who have experienced proper Marathi cuisine, and is a far cry from the current norm of Punjabi fusion cuisine offered in most restaurants. Depending on the person, this is not a bad thing.
Good quality Maharastra style food... Very reasonable and tasty... Specially puran poli... :)
The food is great. But the ambience and the staff is another thing. The staff is not exactly welcoming. They are not rude either but they are not welcoming, I have seen better serving staff at some weddings is all I can say. A poker face is not exactly suitable for a good appetite. I would rather spend 400/- more and visit BBQ nation, much better staff
Today we 5 family members went for having lunch as we heard about the experience from our friends. The atmosphere and ambience was good. But the number of items mentioned in menus was not there. Though they charged only Rs. 250/- per head, we were quite disappointed as many authentic Maharashtrian foods were missing. No zunka bakar or bajiya as shown in menu. When enquired, they told that during evening Rs 380/- per person is charged and at that time Punjabi and Maharashtrian counters are opened. Last not the least, the available food in the afternoon was quite good. But I request the management to consider giving all items in afternoon and to charge Rs 400/- . People will have no hesitation to spent if good and authentic food are served/ given.
Does this place offer food for special occasions such as Mahashivratri, Shravan Somwar, or to be specific Upwas related falahari?
Assal marathi food. Tastes yummy and have a good varieties. Starting From loncha, achar, techa and ends with sweet. Complete appetizer
Good food and nice place . Got a chance to meet vishnuji himself, a very down to earth person.
Not expected...suprise to experience bad management service ...food taste was average..& limited varieties of food ....they dont provide parking facility in restaurent premises ..even for drop & pick up..in heavy rain fall..we have to park on opposite lane road side ...
Good old ambience, on main road . Need to improve cleanliness..
Less Spicy and good in taste. Thanks for good service.
Unhygienic, poor food quality, 2 kids got food infection after party. Not recommended at all. Enter with your own risk
One star is due to their is no negative rating provision ... Well worst food and worst experience quality of food very bad... please save your money by not visiting such a bad experience
Good place for indian food... Maharashtrian food is great...rest of the cuisine is just average!!Overall Good experience!!!
Excellent tasteGood ambienceWorth the priceBest to go in evening time
Very nice service & cooking 🍳👌😋👍🏻😀👏
Nice place nice taste nice food good to hangout with family
Nothing appealed me. Vishnuji ki Rasoi, Nagpur is too overrated. One woman can not take care of everything. She tries and thats all about it. The restaurant lacks cooling, vibrant and supporting staff, and a good taste in music, food, furniture, and design.
Parking facilities are not at all good. But food was tasty.
Food was good but not spicy
A good option to head to for a hearty vegetarian meal. The food variety consisted of Real maharashtrian and punjabi cuisine .I loved the food , taste , quality and especially the Gulab jamun !Being a true maharashtrian , I filled my plate with kanda bhaje, kadhi, masala bhat & thecha.Delicious !The ambience is rustic , earthy & brings back the memories of countryside.A good option to have a family meal or a party for a large gathering .
The traditional ambience captivates you. Traditional utensils are very eye catching. The grand sculpture of a farmer with his pair of bulls is also very attractive. Food no doubt is superb. Vishnuji and his brother are awesome.
Not proper manegment. Self service and public wait for eating food is not fair.
My Mothers style of cooking in 70 &1980s period in our rural huge Patil Wada ,,, very tasty .
Great place for hangout. Little bit costly for youngsters ot college friends but good for family.ambience is good. Service and staff is very friendly.chef vishnu manohar is very friendly with their customers.Maharashtrian food is always good very good taste of each and every item on buffet. Little bit improvement needed in wash basin area. Overall very very good and memorable experience.
There were lots of items and all very delicious and healthy
Very good place to spend time with family when you have kids along
Very Nice & Tasty food 👌👍
Very cozy atmosphere and equally very good taste
Nice mixture of Maharashtrian and Punjabi foods. Liberty to eat as much and whatever you like. Taste wise ordinary. The life size bulls and farmer are worth a click. Ambience is good. Okay for 1 visit.
Food is good but hygiene is not upto mark
A superb hangout place! We can visit there with family, friends and also solo..! Typical maharashtrian cuisine is available to satiate your taste Buds! Must visit restaurant if you are in Nagpur
Best authentic Maharashtrain food, good ambience, old songs playing in the background, huge screen for Cricket fans, variety of food options right from starters, main course & sweet.Try once.
Best treditional food center in nagpur
The bestest vegetarian food which I have eat in Nagpur.
Nice calm place for family & friends, price is reasonable but just taste is average for spicy lovers but is good for less spicy
Awsome nonveg food testy
Amazing food and great cooks. Extremely friendly staff as well. Not too many options but whatever is there is really good quality and well prepared!
Food is very tastyI love open environment
In the resturent there was two nationality food 1.mahatashtrian 2.punjabi . It has a small park to play. The amazing thing about that was the ancient things that make it more beautiful. It has a good atmosphere. The service is also good. Rate is low. Every one should visit it once.
Typical Maharastrian and simple Punjabi dishes...almost like home cooked food...start with Pakoda,Ber and tomoto sar, Jhunka Bhakari Vangyachi bhaji... great combo...Aaloo gobhi and roti took me to my field work days in Punjab...moong ki dal ka halawa and dhirade was amazing...verities of chatanis are worth testing...must try place!!!!!
There are good options in Maharashtraian dish. And you get to taste at one place. Thats Good. Whole restaurant is developed around it. Dont expect good North Indian food as it is not made for it. It has some North Indian options but dont go specifically for them only.
Great experience..but the yukk smell at entrance is always so unwelcoming
Its good place to go with family and enjoy the real taste
Food quality not upto the mark
This restaurant is designed and the Chef Vishnu Manohar. It is not an al-carte restaurant. Restaurant severs buffet of Maharashtrian and Punjabi style. Food brings out the flavour of typical vidarbhi cusine. Ambience is good. Gives rural type feel. Has very good childrens play area, which can keep children busy and entertained for long time. Overall a good restaurant for family outings.
Staff not supportive... no attention given to new people.
Nice place for small events with family... gr8... enjoy...👌🏼
Feeling classical view with awesome bites...
Vishnuji Ki Rasoi : Food, feelings and rustic ambience join together to boost appetite. In the thick of evening, the tempting food served out in the simplicity at its best, and the ambiance that strike a deep connection with the onlooker, join together to make the place perfect for an evening delight.Around 6:30 people start coming to this purely vegetarian restaurant. It has branches in Aurangabad, Pune and Thane as well. As one enters, the brisk aromas of Indian delicacies tempt the visitor then and there. Further the simplest seating arrangements help people get themselves comfortable. An amount of Rs 250 per person, 200 per child is charged, after which a visitor gets to enjoy unlimited servings of every food item till the end of one’s appetite and contentment.
Oh... You can go with your family and friends for dinner and enjoy the pure maharashtrian environment and food here.. your kids can play here...
I never had tht kind delicious food before in nagpur, they use pure spices and ghee.. they are real very good in food n service. *5+.... must try
This is located near lokmat bhavan. Its a good place to hangout with your family and friends. The staff is very helpful.Food served was typical Maharashtrian and punjabi. There was starter and paan also.Aam pana tasted the best and also the kadi. For children they have arranged few slides and swings.Usually on weekends there is rush . People were seen celebrating birthdays. The interior was quite traditional and also the cookware used .The chefs covered their head with scarves while cooking.Cleanliness was maintained.I wished if they had an ice cream counter that would be more fun.😊
Awesome concept, awesome ambience, awesome food 😊👌
Nice food. Great place.
Great variety and excellent taste. Would recommend for anyone interested in trying a variety of Indian cuisine. Good for large groups and family meets.
Good atmosphere, good place, good place to hang outFood is good.
Place is really very awesome.Love the nimbu pani and garama garam pakode..Im little disappointed as i love spicy food..and all the dishes have little sweet taste even in sabjiAlso they provide very good variety of chatni so u can adjust ur taste as u want.
There should be a pan shop, bathroom should be hygienic.
Unlimited Food at reasonable rate
Nice place for Vegetarian meal.... Must for weekends...
Authentic Maharashtrian and Punjabi food, with lots of love and homely feel. The ambiance is the most pleasing element with dining.
Happy environment, chef vishnu is always available to greet you and you can take selfies also. Good taste ,not that much Verity in food but it is unlimited and non spicy too. Starters are not pleasing, Rice quality is not good compared to price that we are paying. Buffett arrangement is very good (unlimited thali system). Good for family get together.
Good hygiene... Great taste at an affordable price for all... A perfect spot for family get togethers.
Good place.. too many varities of food options. Both Punjabi and Maharashtrian food available with awesome quality.
Best food ever 😋😋Instead of taking other hotel thali i ll preffer vishnuji ki rasoi
