Tasty food at unbelievable high price, if you are in need of the taste of India, you can go there,but you wont fill your tummy if you arent willing to spend min 200lei, it wont fill my tummy for less than 400lei

A decent attempt at a curry, it tasted too sweet for me... something that a curry should not. It should be spicy and salty but not sweet. Anyway... Its a nice thing to be able to eat almost-Nepali/Indian food in Chisinau and to be fair when I was there the cook was not working so someone else made the food. Maybe its better when the cook is around.

I would never think I would fall in love with India cuisine. My friends and family know I don’t use any spice in my dishes except salt and little pepper (sometimes). So I’m always careful to mention to the waiter “NOT spicy!” I had the special combo plate today, and it was just DEeee-LICIOUS. I would definitely come there again.Humble, smiling, friendly Indian staff, Nepalese Chef cooking not spicy but very tasty Indian food, nice music and decor, cozy little restaurant, one word “Lovely”.Now I know which restaurant to recommend to my foreign friends when in Chisinau.

First visit - Food was good. Took more then an hour and half since we ordered. There was no option for drinks ( had to settle with an old can of mango juice).Second time the staff didn’t bother to even offer the menu card despite waiting for over 20 mins.

Im not Indian and I make better curry at home. Lousy excuse for a naan bread (burned with crushed raw garlic cloves in the bread). Definitely can improve.

Food was very tasty, but too far from authentic Indian food. Lack of Indian spices and flavour that you cant confuse with anything. Asked for the food to be spicy, and it was, but it was definitely not chillies and it should be chillies. Beer was nice. Cocktail was okay too even though they didnt have the right ingredients. Would have enjoyed if didnt know how real Indian food tastes like. Staff is nice and friendly. Clean.

Lve been there 4 times, and every time l ordered chicken byriani. The 4th time when the waiter brought me the dish, l noticed that on my plate was just a little bit of basmati rice mixed with some other type, the one that l made home when l want to eat Pilaf. l assume that my portion was made of reheated leftovers. And also l got l glass with a wedge of lemon which was dry already. So, lm deeply disappointed.

I can not possibly be the only one with the negative encounter.Chose the restaurant because I love eating Indian food, saw many positive reviews and without hesitation I went with my local friends.Starting with the positive and the only positive was the food. (Grew up in Hong Kong and London - where there are massive Indian communities. Also fly to India every month. So I knew what to taste for) Food tasted and smelled great and presentation was good.Now for the massive negative rating was the waiter himself, local Moldovan man, which knocked off the 3 remaining stars from this place being a 5 star restaurant.When the samosas arrived, we asked if we could have some plates and cutlery. Several minutes passed so we requested again, he rolled his eyes and told us to use our hands and eat like how Indian people do, it is supposed to be authentic. No problem, so asked if could we have some plates so we dont have crumbs all over the table. It took several more minutes before we got our plates (the restaurant only had 4 other people there). Food was getting cold so we just ate it.Our curry came and realised we were missing a dish, asked if the kitchen had forgotten. Waiter goes to check and rather than walking back 10 steps back to our table he SHOUTS across the room sternly informing us we did not make a third order and it was our fault for not listening to him when he read back the order. We accepted it was our fault for not listening, but the fact he shouted across the room to let everyone know it was our problem was simply insulting. The waiter went to a couple to take down their order without asking us if we wanted to make an order for the third person. At the end of taking their order the waiter asked if they wanted it Indian spicy or Moldovan spicy, they chuckled and ordered MD spicy. We were not informed about the spice levels during our order.I decided to walk over to the waiter, placed the third order and requested it to be Indian spicy because the curry we had was not spicy. He looked at me annoyingly and said itll be very spicy (I beg to differ). I said ok, we love spicy food. I walked back to the table and he shouted back to us again saying the order will take 15 minutes to cook and that I should have mentioned the spice levels of the other curries. I was angry at this point and raised my voice back saying that he did not offer us the option to different spice levels. We ate our food quietly and swiftly so we could leave the place as soon as possible.The chef/owner came out just before we left and sat on the table next to us. We said goodbye to him only and he asked how was the food. I told him the food tasted like I was in India but the service was horrendous.I get treated a lot better in Piata Centrala than here. Hopefully a part time waiter, because I will not step foot into this restaurant if I see him working there - guaranteed. Even though the food was great (could have been better if we had the mood to enjoy our food) the abuse is just not worth returning. The waiter should really learn, read and follow what is written on the door of the restaurant.

Great food. The place is a little cold and the food wasnt hot enough either, you could tell it was re-heated. Overall, the samosas are the best thing they have. Their dishes are pretty good but if youre Indian or if you have been to India then the bar is set pretty high 😅

A hidden gem in chisinau. Very tasty food and excellent service. English speaking staff and very friendly. Very tasty beers on tap. Go for 110 Ale. Small but very homey kind of locale. I highly recommend this place.

One and only authentic indian/Nepali restaurant in Chisinau. I was recommended by some Moldovan friends and went there with some friends few times. Each and every dishes were prepared perfectly and tasted like home made food. Excellent service. The Nepalese owner seemed to be a very good guy. We also had a brief conversation with the indian chef.I strongly recommend this place and definitely be back.

The 3 starts are only for the food. If the food was not good there will be 1. Though I am Moldovan, went there with my foreign friends. I am not sure if the same guy works every day, I hope not, otherwise I would not believe the reviews about nice atmosphere. The bar and waiter guy had absolute no respect to the customers. Tried to argue the order that he mixed up by shouting out laugh from the bar, did not even bother to come close to the table. Smiled with disgrace when we asked for plates for sharing (as we decided to share some food) suggesting that we do not know how to eat the Indian food, we should use our hands. I would only go back if that waiter/ bartender would not work there anymore.

Top grade because its the only place I know of with Indian cuisine. Chicken curry and vegetable Samosa were pretty good especially since the prices are decent. Be careful, they have typical Indian cuisine, so I advise you to ask from the start that the dishes are not too peppery in case you have problems with this or have never tried Indian cuisine.

Disappointing food and serving (almost everything is dark porridge on coarsely chopped onions) ... Ordered 6 dishes for 3 people ... came out hungry ... The beer is delicious, by the way, you cant do without it with such pungency, and I liked the bananas in batter ...
