Nagda, a nearby village of Anta, has a different religious significance in the entire Hadoti region. About 11 hundred years old Shiv temple is established here which is known as Nageshwar Mahadev Temple. According to the remains found here, this temple was rebuilt by the royal family 350 years ago. Water flows from the Gaumukh in the holy tank here with the same stream throughout the year. Where is this water coming from, its authenticity has not been fully proven so far.In such a situation, many devotees reach this holy pool to take a bath. Although there are seven pools on the banks of the Kalisindh river flowing below the Shiva temple, but four of them are buried by mud, while devotees take bath in three. With the help of devotees at the Shiva temple, the Akhand Jyoti is also lit with native ghee throughout the year. Thousands of devotees take a dip in the main pool of Nagda every year during the three-day fair held here on the occasion of Kartik Purnima.
