First visit 10/16/21. Great breakfast & brunch menu with a twist. Simple but not basic diner fare. Home fries are outrageously good. Great coffee and toast as well. My wife and I enjoyed our omelets!Tiny space but with the wait for a table.
My wife raved about the Huevos Rancheros. I raved about the smoked pork omelette which had a real nice smoke to the meat. And my boy loved the chocolate chip pancake.I must say that pancake deserves special mention. It comes off the grill with the perfect balance of crispness and fluffiness. The staff has an attitude, and I mean that in the best way. Genuinely friendly and a little sarcastic. Perfect for Delco.
I just love this place. The owner Rainy is hilarious and remembers everyone who comes in. The food is always always always exceptional. Always have interesting specials. The service is great. The coffee is always fresh and amazing. More than just a basic breakfast spot, this place has heart.
This place is all good vibes! Small cute diner to have delicious food! The staff is very heartwarming too! Welcome us when we walked in and gave us a table. The huevo rancho and French toast are BOMB! I recommend this place for brunch!
Nice little breakfast and lunch diner in media. A little bit off the beaten path but worth it. The service was great. Even though it was our fist time in we were treated like regulars. You could here conversations that the staff took interest in getting to know the patrons. My son said that they had the best chocolate chip pancakes hes ever had and specifically asked me to write this review stating so. Not going to lie, I take offense to that statement of his but wont hold it against the restaurant. They have daily specials and menu items which makes me happy. I had a bacon and blue cheese omelette and my son had chocolate chip pancakes with chocolate milk. Hes a bit of a chocolate fiend.
Disgusting place to try out. Do not give this place a chance like I tried to.First dining experience, I walk in and this rude lady with tattoos all over her arms greets me and I simply ask if they serve tea. She brings it out and I ask if there’s a menu because she doesn’t offer then she says something smart and tells me the place is like an actual restaurant and they do have a menu. The avocado rancheros was disgusting and they skimp with only a few avocado and the eggs were much. The tea was brought out in a dirty mug where I flaked off the remnants with my nail. Completely a disgusting first time venture to this low-end breakfast place in my hometown of Media. I will never go here again and neither should you.
Delicious brunch, two steps above your average “mom and pop” diner. We throughly enjoyed everything we ordered, including an omelet and the grilled blueberry muffin.
Amazing place they could have done better the staff are friendly and kind and family friendly the food is amazing couldn’t ask for a better place
We love it! We are regulars and we would recommend The Corner to everyone! Alonzo and Stephanie
Great food, great atmosphere. Owners are so nice and welcoming. Definitely recommend for breakfast!
Love the food and the staff. The potatoes are amazing.
So cute! the waitress was super nice and attentive! will definitely come back
Mistakenly gave us the best chocolate chip pancakes ever... When you get the wrong order, but its perfect, what is there to really complain about?
Okay everything is so good. It’s the little spots that are the best. If you’re a local, or visiting and want some breakfast, def try this place out. (: I got the harvest omelette, and also a half avocado. Harvest omelette SOOOO flavorful and yummy. 10/10 recommend.
Great little place for breakfast!
My husband deemed this the best breakfast place since moving to PA. They are a home in the wall, greasy spoon, and a great value for their breakfasts. It was a steal ordering especially for a family of five. We can see making this place our regular. They have La Colombe coffee too. My 5&6 year old split an omelette and my 2 1/2 had the kids breakfast which was huge. The Huevos Rancheros with avocado was so tasty.
Great place for brunch and fantastic service.
We live in Reading and visited Media on Friday morning to do some shopping at Trader Joes. We arrived hungry and looked for a place to have breakfast - very happy that we found the Koffee Korner just across the street and around the corner. It was wonderful! The potatoes were super, the bacon was nice and crispy, and my partners request for an egg-whites omelet was cheerfully received - not always the case in restaurants here at home, sad to say. Loved the vibe - relaxed and friendly - welcoming to newcomers - good coffee. Well be back!
The perfect breakfast spot. Great food & specials served by staff who get to know their customers and welcome new ones. Try the cinnamon bun - you’ll be glad you did
This is my go-to place for breakfast and lunch. The staff is amazing - you feel the love and appreciation for your business during every visit. The food is great. My fave is the dan good huevos rancheros - the kiddos steal some of the bacon. Every item I have tired exceeded my expectations. I only wish they were open for dinner too.
The food was good, the prices were higher than the atmosphere commands. Also some little nuances, when asking for the check you arent given one, they just have you go to the register and youre kind of left figuring out what you were charged for. They come around asking if you want a refill on coffee, but having figured out after with tax that I mustve been charged for a refill. Not a huge deal, but the kind that can stay in the back of your head or have you not going back somewhere. My date wasnt thrilled that when she ordered, the waitress commented wow someone must be hungry. I didnt notice anything out of normal when she ordered, just that when the waitress came over she ordered first. She also ordered an ice tea and said unsweetened please and was told well, thats good. because thats all we have. Some of the exchanges just seem unnecessary, like that may be what some people call friendly but others may not.We regular the areas, and it was our first time at this place.
Cute family spot, old school diner vibes love the potatoes super friendly !
Great breakfast food
Great breakfasts!
Delicious breakfast.
The food has always been pretty good but this last time it was not. Rancheros eggs with canned salsa and a sprinkle of canned beans... I can make it at home and make it taste like that. Home fries were greasy and mushy and not very tasty. I have had much better from here.
Everything they serve at the Koffee Korner is to die for! I personally love their brioche french toast, and their potatoes are so savory. I would definitely come here a second time... and I have!
I didnt even realize this place sold food until I saw their sign on state street advertising breakfast sliders. It sounded good so we decided to give it a try. I got the egg, steak, and onion sliders on an English muffin and it was amazing. Huge portion with crispy home fries. And to top it all off, it was all inexpensive. And the staff there were very nice.
Outside seating, delicious menu options , friendly staff. I really enjoyed my meal
Amazing variety of EXCELLENT pancakes.Fabulous eggs and great hot endless coffee.Always crowded. Tiny little place, well worth any wait. They give you coffee while you wait. Counter, booths and tables.Wonderful for kids of any age!
Cute brunch spot located right on the corner. We went on a Saturday morning and they were busy but we still got a table with no wait. Portions were great, and when my friends food was accidentally put in the trash, they made a brand new platter for her to take home! I got the French toast with bacon and eggs, she got a make your own omelette with home fries, bacon, eggs and toast. Service was excellent and the food was yummy.
Very Nice! They were packed when we went mid- late Sunday morning but our wait wasnt long as we were willing to sit at the counter. The food was very good, more than enough. It may have taken a little time for the food but I like to say, slow food is good food!
This place is pretty reliable, and the food there is always good. They offer all the staples and basics of breakfast, with some of the trendier breakfast options sprinkled in as well. The home fries are especially good.
This place IS your cozy, local diner. The people here are nice and personable every visit. Theres both bar and table seating. The food here is great. Just wish they had eggs Benedict and chipped beef here on the regular.
Koffee Korner has been my regular breakfast spot for a few years now and I plan on keeping it that way. The owners and staff are very friendly and seem know everybody that walks through the door. The food always hits the spot, I would recommend this spot to both locals and travellers.
We tried Koffee Korner for the first time. Food was delicious but I think I may have been overcharged. I’m chalking it up to the craziness of the times. I will be back.
This is a gem of a place you go with your ride or die friend. The one you can shift gears quickly between delicious bites; what you had forgotten to remember to tell them last time, and all the antics inbetween. The atmosphere and staff have the vibe that authentic humans are appreciated. All others - can enjoy the bangin food (and tunes🤘🏽thank you), and keep it moving
One of my favorite spots for breakfast. Great food and service. Always love those specials!
For a mom and pop type place this has great food and epic service to me.You can see them cook your order so you know they feel they can do such without making mistakes.Over all looking for a small and quite place to enjoy breakfast this is the place to go to.
A Media staple. Best coffee. Excellent service. Home cooking taken to the nth degree. Open for breakfast 7 days 7:30 until 1:30. Lunch is served during the week 11:30-1:30. Regular neighborhood crowd. Great prices and portions. Youre only a stranger here once. Daily specials. So many great things to say about KK.
On vacation from NH and found this place by chance. What a gem! Food was outstanding. Everything had a fresh, authentic, flavor and feel to it. Atmosphere is very cozy and relaxing. A genuine breakfast place I would quickly recommend to anyone.
Great food for a great price. Very cozy inside, and the staff are warm and welcoming.
Went here for brunch on a Saturday and it was a great experience. With only a half-dozen tables or so, it is a warm and cozy atmosphere. The menu presents a nice variety of breakfast and lunch options, with creative specials each day to keep things interesting. The portions are generous and the prices very reasonable. Most of all, the cook and servers are a friendly trio, who made us feel at home. A great place to spend a leisurely morning/afternoon enjoying a nice meal. Highly recommended.
Fun local diner in the heart of Media. The waitstaff was very friendly and considerate, I came here with my 2 year old son, and they were so accommodating! The food was fantastic and the prices were reasonable for Media.
Whats not to love? Been coming here for over 10 years. Medias best lil breakfast nook. But please dont go here. I really enjoy the lack of wait time.
Solid breakfast and atmosphere every week. Nicest staff.
Its fall. Pumpkin pancakes. I say no more. 5 stars!Same review as Justin Wright below. Everyone is extremely nice and food is great but the place is too small to be successful. You cant fit 75 people who are waiting to eat into a place this size. Ive been there at 9am, 10am, noon and 1:30pm and its always crowded on a Sunday.
Food is excellent and staff is super friendly. Everyone should breakfast here! The food is amazing, the coffee is perfect and its just a great place to jump start your day. Do it!
Love the weekend brunches... Little cafe built around the brunch menu is a bit tight inside, but never disappoints with the meals.Update: this review used to be 5 ⭐, but is definitely not that caliber anymore. It probably should be a 1 ⭐, but I am still nostalgic for what it used to be. The quality has gone down hill dramatically. Items are often greasy and flat. Additionally, the cleanliness has been very suspect on the past couple visits with the drop ceiling above the food prep area even looking like it was falling apart.
First time here! Food is great! Staff is very polite!
This is the place to go for breakfast in Media. Delicious omlets. Hash browns are crisp and not greasy. Fresh juices. Quality syrup. Good coffee. Cozy.
Best breakfast place ever! Great simple breakfast food with a cool and friendly vibe.
We love it here. Rainy and her crew are do kind and the food is great. Super chill vibe.
Such a fun experience for the whole family! The staff is witty and authentic, the place is always bustling, and it really gives you the busy family diner feel I can only assume they had back back in the day, before everything bacame major corporations only in the restaurant industry.
The French toast is really thick and delicious. The scrapple was served 2 thin pieces and tasted oddly like a cookie. I wasnt that fond of them. Good orange juice and nice people in a comfy quiet corner on the street.
Great food, great service, great tunes
The food was good and the atmosphere was inviting
First I will start by saying the food is always very good. Five stars on the food. Omelettes are great, huevos rancheros awesome, and on and on. Service though, can range from a one to a five star and my last couple visits have me leaning in the lower direction. This is mostly a basic organization thing. It can take a good 20 minutes for someone to take your order sometimes. Sometimes you just cant seem to get another cup of coffee. My last time there I was sat by a waitress....and then stood back up after a couple minutes by another waitress because they did not have any system for tracking the wait. The group of four actually apologized as we were shuffled back to wait. Then I was told that there was yet another party in front of that AFTER another couple minutes. I did receive an apology, but my experience went from a nice Sunday morning breakfast to sheer frustration. So yeah, one to five star on service. The cafe is clean enough, but you could say that they need to invest a bit back in the place. I would say a three or four star there.
Been coming here for about two years, low key but amazing food and kind staff. Specials are always great!
Small cozy atmosphere. Delicious food, better than any big chain diners. Courteous service. Ill definitely be back.
Small breakfast diner. Affordable and quick. Good coffee. Cool staff. I love this place. Great Huevos Rancheros.
Rainee and Patrick are amazing owners. They are engaging AND the food was remarkable!!
Cool place. Local charm. Very friendly. Food was good.
Excellent breakfast. I have enjoyed omelets and pancakes. A five year old reviewer stated that it is better than Bob Evans.
Breakfast sandwich was ok. Home fries were great, nice and crunchy. Coffee was awesome
Great place for a diner breakfast. Small, family friendly, great staff.
My fave place to chill on a rainy morning. 😎 Sometimes life can be good
Beautifully renovated and always delicious food.
Love just about everything about this place. Always delicious food, friendly inviting service, reasonably priced, and best coffee. I only wish they took credit.
The crew is a lot of fun. The veggie scram is one of my favorite meals they serve
Cheap, quick, American breakfast diner style food. Seems to be the place to go on rainy/snowy days! Their variety French toasts seem to be their number one hit!
The waitresses were fun and welcoming, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Will definitely go back.
Great atmosphere, food prepared with attention and pride
BEST SCRAPPLE SANWICH IN DELCO!!
Great small local place for a traditional breakfast! Coffee is strong and food is solid
The staff here is extremely rude and disrespectful. My friend, whos vegan, went there for breakfast, and they wrote vegan freak on his receipt. I cant recommend this place to anyone.
Great place. Ive been going here for years.
Great home cooked breakfast and friendly environment .
Small cozy delicious pancakes wonderful service excellent people an tie with Bittersweet kitchen.
Staff is great but horrible food -egg undercooked & they deep fry thur home fries so u get a plate of burntness.
Great coffee. Omelet and French toast were delicious.
Great fresh food. Hashbrowns are delish. Coffee is great. Very nice atmosphere, cozy and homey. Pleasant staff, definitely recommend!
Friendly staff with great food at a fair price
Great breakfast. Service was good and very friendly.
Great place for a simple breakfast. Best home fries in town, and their specials are usually interesting.
Amazing food and staff! My family and I would eat here everyday if we could!
A fun and quirky place with pretty darn good food.
Really good place to have breakfast or lunch. The food is awesome with good service, nicely decored
Good food excellent service
This is a classic neighborhood breakfast diner and lunchette. Its a small and quaint stop with reasonable prices, great service, and local flavor.
Friendly atmosphere. The huevos rancheros are first rate. My regular breakfast place since forever.
Great little place, enormous and delicious blueberry pancakes as big as the plate!
Friendly service, tasty breakfast food. Coffee is great.
The staff is great, food is well priced, but most of all the ingredients are fresh! You can even see the staff cooking meals for yourself
Nice cozy place but a little pricey for breakfast though.
The staff are very nice iam comfortable. With them
Best hash browns ever and the omelets are delicious as well! Definitely a five star breakfast in a homey, unpretentious atmosphere.
So good! So much good food! The staff is great and funny!
