I have been a regular visitor to Jewel Rock which is happened to be at the same place of this location. Food is amazing and it tastes so good, the staff here are courteous and help you decide the best of the dishes available on their menu. Chicken Maramari has been my favourite dish here.

Highly disappointed - after waiting for that long found cockroach in Chinese Choupsey!!!But Manager was humble enough to apologise! Wat is the point when u are not able to eat when you are hungry!!

One of my favourite restaurants in Mysore. Reasons being - the food, ambience and service.The food is good, both quality and quantity wise. The restaurant has a very different ambience and one finds it pleasing to be seated here for lunch/dinner.The staff are well mannered, courteous and provide excellent customer service.Cards accepted here.Parking for cars on the road (enough parking available).Do note, one has to take a flight of stairs to go up to the restaurant so it is difficult for elderly citizens with walking difficulty and for people on wheelchairs.

They have carried the legendary service and taste so persistently. It never changes at all.. bestest service, great taste very friendly staff, great ambience and its located in the heart of the city very accessible location.

An upscale place. Well maintained and neat ambience. The staff is pretty old and very cooperative and the taste of the dishes havent changed since day 1. A vegetarian and non-vegetarian restaurant to have sumptuous lunch and dinner. The service is really appreciated. Bookings are also taken for birthdays and other small celebrations. Liquor is also served. A nice place to spend time with your family peacefully.

I had been on 12 Dec with my family there was a good ambience, I ordered fried rice, biryani, boneless chicken I regret to tell the fried rice was the worst quality ever eaten in my life. Probably even the roadside canteen may cook far better than this. I feel even if this food was served free of cost you cannot eat this . I had gone to the hotel at 3 p.m so they have adjusted all the left overs and given and served to us rather they could have told me there was no food and the rates were horrible high . MY sincere advice is for the gods sake dont not visit this hotel you ll have a very bad experience in the service and the food .

Jewel rock haps been my favorite restaurant from a pretty long time and I really cant see people posting negative reviews about it. It has a great ambience and the food is absolutely amazing!

I had been with my family to this place at 2.30p.m. only 1 person was serving and taking order to 6 tables. The biryani which I ordered was worst ,there was no meat . They food which they served and the way it was served gave me a feeling that they are not interested in the business. I surely recommend my colleagues not to visit this place

Good food great ambiance, and tasty food. A real good place located at the central place inside Mysore. Good staff, quick service, great menu, decent price points, everything is a plus for a guest. The only challenge is the parking, though the security helped us to park in front but looking at the Rush in the restaurant, I think a permanent solution is required.

Price was bit high compared to other restaurants and I personally didnt find any paisa vasool food which would negotiate the cost

Jewel Rock restaurant is at the heart of Mysore city and very close to city bus stand and suburban bus stand. Ample parking is available in front of the hotel.The food and services were good. Less noise and elegant ambience. Can be crowded during weekends and holidays. Vegetarian, both South Indian & North Indian and non- vegetarian dishes are served during lunch and dinner.

Poor staff service. They only care about a few tables while the rest are treated as if they are eating for free and are uninvited. Had to repeat parts of order to multiple waiters , most of them just pass it on to the next guy. No waiter took responsibility for our table. Ambience is good and thats about it.

Foos taste is not worth its price

I have visited this place once. The food is amazing both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Ambiance is decent and a lot of variety to try out. The managers are very friendly and approachable at the same time very professional. They have an offer for students. The service is good, the place is very good to hangout and chill with friends. Though the price is higher at the end of your meal you will not feel that you spent more than what you got.

Roti, kulcha and nan has to improve. Service little late.

I just love this place in all Mysore. If you are in Mysore this is must go place for veg and non veg cuisines. Specially they have nice interior and you can enjoy sip by Sip of your drinks in silent music

This is an ideal place to wine & dine either with family or friends. Doesnt burn a hole in your pocket. An a la cart non veg meal for 2 is approximately Rs.1000 - 1300. Reduces to Rs. 800 - 1000 for vegetarians. These are estimates. May vary depending on your orders. The ambience is pleasant. Liquor is served. Polite waiters. Advisable to book a table in advance else you may have to wait your turn especially on weekends. Restrooms need a make over.

Food experience was below average. Ordered a chicken biryani, it was bland, simple, pale and also they did not provide any salan/curry with it. For me this would be my last order from this restaurant.This place is for those who havent experienced much of other restaurants. Im a foodie!! I love delicious and savoury food. Jewel rock never disappoints. Crowded anytime. But it delights you with awesome food. One of the old restaurant in Mysore with decent ambience. This place also serves drinks. We ordered veg. Never miss mango desert which is available in season, kulfi or Carmel custard. Decently priced and easy to locate.

The best place for the food and the ambience out there. Have been visiting this place for more than 10 yrs. The butter naan and the gravies provided here are worth the amount of time and money spent! Situated in the heart of the city, this place gives us the amazing delicacies. Each and every dish out here makes its mark in your mind and you will surely comeback here again!

Cordial staff, value for money

Hyper active waiters who dont want to give you time to settle down at the hotel upon arrival. Food taste is decent but some of the dishes arent served hot. Price is reasonable to slightly high priced.

For some reason, I thought this is a Veg place. We went for a dinner on-invite and I was like why veg place. May be the name, may be the looks. But it was good. Not much crowd and we got all the attention we needed and food was good. Nice hospitality as well.

For all chicken lovers who are traveling in Mysore please try this place as they provide a really yummy food.It was so great experience here with such a delicious food.I ordered some south Indian items, Mysore masala dosa, idli vada plate, and Sada dosa.Mysore masala dosa was really yummy and having a lot of veggies, and chutney. They served it with coconut chutney and sambar.Idli was too soft and vada was too Crispy but not so oily. They served this also with coconut chutney and sambar.Dada dosa was normal in taste but too buttery.Overall food is of good quality and quantity. The quality has gone down. I used to be a regular visitor here once upon a time. The food was sub par. It took a while for the food to arrive. Overall service is not that great. I dont think Ill find myself visiting this place again. I would visit here often a long time ago. I guess there are too many restaurants now and my expectations have increased.

Tldr: great staff, quick service, good foodTried and tested place at the heart of the city. Good Chinese food - noodles and fried rice are good.Kalmi kabaab was exceptionally well done. Chicken peppy fry and methi chicken curry were good too. Overall, low lit place - so good to chill and spend time with friends.

We tried chicken drum stick and prawn roast. Both have coating of bajji and inside small piece of nonveg. They are good in preparing tandoor. Manager usually forces us what we should be eating. Waiter denies to serve food. They dont even know how to take plates from table, when to give mocktails. Worst thing is more items you order, more irritated they will be.
