Spread across a huge area of 30 acres this is one of the oldest colleges in Karnataka. The college also now offers MBA and also Diploma for physically disabled Divyang individuals. The college has a good guest house and in campus canteen as well.SJC has produced many students who have given immense contribution to the country in various fields.

It was affiliated to Mysore University for many decades and then to VTU (for may be lightly more than a one decade) and now I guess it is deemed university..

Only 2 blocks were good rest of them are too bad i mean literally bad . Buildings were decorated by seniors arts(lol). Creepy rooms .I dont recommend it for any one.

This is my Alma Mater, obviously I have good things to say about this school. Campus has grown a lot compared to when I was in this school. Still there is that old fighter plane in the middle of the campus. Campus is well maintained, buildings still look new. There are lot of trees in the campus.

This clg is an average clg .. Teaching is ok -ok types .But few branches r really good with good placements..If u want to join the clg ..CS ,IS and EC should be ur only choice ..Its waste taking any other circuit branch here ..To COMED k guys ..pls dont waste ur 2.5 lakhs per year for any non -circuit branch in this clg. U will regret .. Talking about Mechanical branch in personal .. Only few teachers r good who may also leave the campus soon ..Most of the new faculty lack skills and knowledge required for the subject..Few just do copy paste work ... Learning is very less ..No exposure, outdated machines and softwares is all they have ... Placements for core companies is also very less...The only good thing is the people and the city itself...Its such an beautiful place to live with amazing people all round...No outsider will find trouble being at this place ...This place is a gift😍

This college is best collage in mysore and stands 4th to all over karnataka, i personally feels that this collage has all the facilities with good infrastructure. Last year it transformed from autonomous to JSS University. The facilities are good and friendly with the students, and the surrounding weather is filled with trees.

Commutable from hostel to academic blocks and mess food is not bad. Security is strict enough to not allow non hostelites to enter the hostel block. Facilities are good with high speed WiFi. You also get a launderer who charges minimal amount. The rooms are spacious for what you pay.

Im sharing my own experience I got allotted this college through KCET but they asked me 1.4lakh fee including 54k KCET fee for 1yr totally around 2lakh per year.So who are all having money can take admissions.
